Every shop I contacted said they only painted or powder coated wheels in one color. After hearing the same response from at least 10 shops, I attempted to paint them myself which was around late August 2021. They came out good but not great. Some of the black got on the red spokes. It wasn't horrible but noticeable. In September 2021, I saw an advertisement for Powder Coating by Frank T. I contacted Frank T and he told me to send him pictures of what I wanted. He told me that he could do it. He gave me an estimate of about two weeks but he finished the wheels in less than a week. He sandblasted my paint job and got to work. He didn't complain. In fact, he said my paint job was almost close. Anyway, Frank T's job is spectacular. I highly recommend. I'm not sure if he is still around but if you can find him, I highly recommend.

Their quality of work and personnel were great and turn around time was a week to ten days. WHAT HAPPENED ? Now as you enter, young female (NFD) you are not greeted, no smile just a " how can I help you ?" You feel like you are talking to Eeyore from Winnie the Pooh. My last three visits required a return visit to get work done properly almost. First time: two parts were half done, the backsides were spotted and you could see the metal . Second time: the billet grill had a paper thin coating and exposed the metal. Third time and my last time: August 28, 2024 , I dropped off ten (10) pieces of frontend bracketry, filled out the required paperwork stating 10 pieces. After waiting three weeks,(September 24, 2024) I get a call my parts are done. I arrived and nine pieces are powder coated. I ask the young lady about the tenth part. She (young female, NFD) checks and Kyle (owner) approaches and states this part was missed and would be ready this week. Today is Tuesday. I return on Friday September 27, three days later. The female gives me the " How can I help you routine" and I state I'm here to pick up this piece, showing her what I'm looking for. She states " If I didn't call you, it's not ready". I tell her I'll take it. She goes into the back and returns with the item, stripped of it's coating, hands it to me and walks off, no conversation of any type. Kyle does not appear either. I'm working on a 1973 Camaro with the Rally front bumpers, The part is a front bumper mount, measuring maybe 3 inches by 5 inches. Kyle, should NOT take three plus days to complete the job on this one piece that YOU as the owner failed to complete. I drive 60 miles one way to get to your shop, NO MORE. I also will not be recommending your company to anyone !!!!!!!

Once i got home and started putting the center caps on them, I found those chips, I transported them on the back seat of my vehicle with cushions and blankets. I contact them right after, ( and the Girl that works here is sweet, no complaints on her at all) told her about the issue and send her some pictures! She followed up with me to tell me that, the owners review the pictures and that I damage the wheel lol. I haven't even installed the wheels on my vehicle, what type of materials they used that damages with cushions and blankets? Like this was not cheap by any means and the least i was expecting was for them to correct the affected area, not to powder coat the whole thing again. Anyways i will take my L and walk away, that's how you loose customers, i may be one only, but that's the same way you started with one customer. And please if you reading this check really good before you leave. Because if they would not honor this, I highly doubt they will Honor the year of warranty they offer

Took the standard half up front that most reputable fabricators ask for but then failed to complete the four-window project. Mr Dicus stopped responding for several months. Then finally installed one simple set of window bars to a single window. I would avoid this business at all cost. Mr Dicus took money and never completed his contract. I do not know if the previous reviews were planted but his action constitute theft. I have started a Better Business Bureau complaint but I just wanted to warn anyone else. Dicus web site also looks professional but has no true contact information or place of business.

Consumer Warning: Do Not Hire FixTman LLC (Washington, D.C.)…read more I would strongly caution anyone against hiring FixTman LLC for TV mounting or installation services. I hired this company through a referral from BJ's Wholesale Club, expecting professional installation. Unfortunately, this was one of the worst service experiences I have ever had. The technician arrived and spent 4 hours mounting my TV. Less than 10 minutes after he left, the TV fell completely out of the wall. After I contacted the company, the technician returned with his father and reinstalled it. That should have been the first red flag. The TV was installed in September 2025. In April 2026, the TV fell out of the wall again -- this time causing serious damage: * Destroyed my TV * Damaged my wall / sheetrock * Left me with additional repair costs I contacted FixTman LLC again, and their response was that they would do nothing because it had been more than 30 days. To make matters worse, Thumbtack Quality Assurance also stepped in and tried to help resolve the issue on my behalf. They contacted FixTman LLC directly, only to be told the exact same thing -- that I only had 30 days and they would not take responsibility. Let that sink in. A properly mounted TV should not fall out of a wall -- not once, and definitely not twice. This was not normal wear and tear. This was poor workmanship, improper installation, and a complete lack of accountability. In over 40 years, I have never seen anything like this. Please do your research before hiring this company. I will also be reporting this experience to BJ's Wholesale Club, since they referred them. I appreciate the role which FixT serves, but with Yelp as the solicitation platform, it admittedly seems like another unnecessary middleman to go through them. The contractors did miss some minor things with our playground assembly, and unfortunately the price came in higher (without notification), despite my providing the exact model and steps required for assembly at the time of soliciting. The insurability and lack of comprehensive quality guarantees is a little off putting in the end, as even other entities that exclusively use "independent contractors" such as uber, still have additional protections in place for the end customer. Overall, they were good, not perfect. The process was wonky, but worked (for the most part) in the end. I just would prefer to go directly to the contractors in the future.
