I put in an order at 7pm and the Grubhub app notified me that they would be ready by 10pm. I called at 8 after an hour of waiting and the manager said he was just about to call me to tell me oxtail wasn't available. Bull****. I asked how they go about refunds and he said he's going to call Grubhub after he gets off the phone with me. Ill timing and totally unaccountable for the issue. WORD TO THE WISE: I would call this spot a carry-out or dine-in spot DO NOT ORDER FOOD FOR DELIVERY. I live around the corner and ordered delivery though Yelp. Like other reviewers, that did not go as planned. Yelp/Grubhub called me and said the place couldn't deliver my food and they refunded my money. That was about a year ago. Today, I gave them another try but called ahead to place an order. I called at three (the place didn't open until six) but someone answered. I asked if they would have Fufu and Okra Stew today. The man said they would and I said I would come by at six. At 6:03, the restaurant called me and said that my meal was ready. I went to the place and parked behind the restaurant (plenty of parking) and went inside. There is one booth and it's a decent little place to sit down. Nothing special, but clean and good to dine-in though. I took my food home and it was really good. I love Fufu and Okra Stew and this was a nice batch. Nicely flavored and I could tell he had made it to order. I would say check this spot out. Park behind the restaurant, and order WAY ahead. It's worth your time but it seems like they only do carry-out. read more

Order delivery through grub hub never got my food, this sucks after waiting over 3 hours for food

Not a fan of this place. Order from this place at 10:15 PM and didn't get a response for two hours. When I called the representative said he sisnt see the order because he never checked . Was very rude and finally showed up at 1:30 am. By then I had already canceled order. His statement to me was that this is not a fast food place, no kidding I dont eat fast food. He had no held no regards and felt as I should be happy he ever showed up. Never again . Also see on other review sites that this is common practice. I say its very bad business. read more

Horrible service, don't eat here. I've ordered from here twice and both times my orders were canceled after waiting 3 hours for my food. The first time they actually called me and told me to cancel the order and order on GrubHub after hours of waiting. Hasn't changed from past reviews. They list a bad number so you can't get ahold of no one. Been waiting for over two hours for food. Not worth giving a try if it's going to be a headache just to get. read more

Called for delivery and failed to deliver luckily I was paying cash or my money would have been tied up in processing a refund from my bank.

Ordered my food on grub hub but 15 minutes later they canceled it. My money was taken out of my account though. Waiting to see if it is put back in. read more
