Was involved in my first accident with my brand new 2017 Prius in March of 2018. A gut wrenching experience to say the least. Failing to operate, my insurance helped transport my car to the nearest body shop: After Collision Center. Following up the next day I nearly vomited in my mouth and was horrified at the poor reviews this place had received in the past. I was skeptical and defensive. I immediately assumed that I was going to be ripped off in some way and that I was going to receive dishonest work and junk replacement parts. I met with the owner Bob and to get answers for myself. Bob was extremely cordial. He was kind enough to show me around the facility as well as show examples of both body and paint work which all looked legit. Having spent nearly 30 minutes probing for answers I felt assured that my vehicle was in honest hands. My collision was primarily to the drivers side. An impact had damaged the bumper, tire, axel and suspension all of which needed replacing. Replacement parts were received from Toyota in Norwalk and were brand new and installed skillfully. I got my vehicle back and it looked brand new again, the shop detailed my vehicle and the paint job was matched perfectly. After getting my vehicle back I went to Toyota for a scheduled maintenance and inspection to double check the work, everything checked out fine. Bob was always helpful and communicative during this ordeal. The work is honest and done within a reasonable timeframe. read more

Got into a minor accident where my driver's side car door got pushed open more than it should have been--damaged the hinges and warped the door panel to the point where I couldn't shut the door anymore. Driving around that Saturday, none of the other many auto body shops on my street were open, but these hard-working guys were. Snuck in right before their closing time, but not only did they still see me, Bob had his mechanic immediately come and try to adjust the hinges to get my door closed so that my car would be drive-able again, even not perfect-looking. Turns out that couldn't be done without new hinges, so I left my car there for the weekend. For some reason my car's manufacturer wouldn't send them the hinges when they called on Monday because they're not a certified partner of the manufacturer's, so I had to go in and pull the car out of their shop on Tuesday. Even though I took up their time and attention and a space in their shop for several days, they didn't charge me a cent--they seemed like they were truly sorry that they couldn't help me out further. THESE PEOPLE ARE ALL SCAMMERS. The owner and the tow truck service and the attorney and the chiropractor are all scammers please stay away from this shop at all costs. They trick you into being towed here and keep your car without your consent and charge 1000 or more just to have it sit at their shop and they also steal things out of your car when you have to leave it there. They are running scams with insurance companies and one day they will go down for all the people they've scammed and bullshitted. I am already working with my lawyer to sue. read more

I was a little worried about this place at first because the towing company took my car here before I gave any consent or had the chance to check with my insurance company. When I tried to move my car elsewhere, they were very resistant. However, they promised me that I wouldn't incur any unnecessary charges and that everything would be billed to the insurance company of the person that hit me. The workers stayed true to their word and even waived my deductible in the end until I could sort things out with the insurance company. One downside is that they rarely called me to update me on the status of my car, and the ordering of the parts/repairs took longer than I think it should have. However, every time that I called to check on my car, the person answering would greet me by name and seemed to know exactly what was happening with my car at the time. read more

BOGUS! BOGUS! BOGUS! DO NOT USE THIS BODY SHOP WHAT SO EVER!!! They are scam artists, they will hold your vehicle hostage, and they have cappers working for them all over Los Angeles! A tow truck picked up my vehicle from the scene of the accident, stating that I will not have to pay for any fees what so ever and took it to this shop. When I asked "How did you hear about the accident" he stated "I was a witness", hence he showed up 15 minutes later which means they use a police scanner which is illegal. On top of that, I called the shop to release my vehicle to myself, and they wouldn't do it until I went in. Once I went in, they forced me to sign a work order in order to get the vehicle released. I did this since I had no choice but realized I should have called the police since they were holding my vehicle as hostage without my authority. They ended up charging over $1000 for the vehicle sitting at the shop for only a day! I will definitely be reporting them to the automotive bureau and department of insurance! I have major evidence of fraud being done at this shop. Ray and Bob are both scumbags. Bob is apparently the owner of this establishment. Our Brand New Truck was parked when a car out of no where SLAMMED into our truck and totaled it out. Francisco came out right away cleaned up the mess and helped us fill out the paperwork and was very friendly. The body shop worked with the insurance company. We were asked to come down to sign the documents to release the truck to the insurance company but maybe that's a document they could have on hand but other than that wonderful company. read more

My vehicle was hit on my way home from work and one of the owners so happen to see the accident. Fransisco was so on top of ensuring my safety and needs were met. I was towed to this body shop-shortly after all information was exchanged. The very next morning After Collision Center put me into a rental car until my car is fixed. Yep. It's a scam. My car got totaled, and the tow truck driver brought it to this yard. But they wouldn't release it unless I went down there personally and signed it out. And they're only open from 10-5, AND they close from 1-2 for lunch. Did I mention that for every day it's in their yard, they're charging you or your insurance company? So they make sure their hours are just enough it can't be claimed they're deliberately pulling shenanigans, but just enough that those daily stowage fees add a nice bonus to their bottom line. An hour-and-a-half out of my day later, I got the release signed. We'll see if they try and attach any extra charges. read more

Definitely not recommended. The place is getting a star because the owner is friendly and has proper manners. The car took long to get fixed than originally started. They "fixed" other parts of my car without incurring an additional charge. But it cost me more to get those fixes fixed. Those fixes were made worst than they originally looked. They scratched my hood, front bumper, one off my doors, used areas of my car that had no damage to test paint and match it. They had to remove my rear window but when they put it back they didn't seal it properly and water leaks in during rain, car washes, etc. They kept saying come back to have it sealed properly but every time i went They stated it would take too long; mind you When i caked They confirmed They could do it. They stole my side skirts. When asked they couldn't find them and said they didn't take anything off. I showed them pictures of when i dropped off the car and they would look for them. After showing up about 7 times they keptr telling me they had to wait for amir when he said i could pick them up. It's been 3 months and i know I've lost them to these thieves. 200$ down the drain. To sum it up; Scratched my car Painted spots on my car Didn't seal my rear window Didn't install my rear door panels correctly Stole my side skirts I do not recommend this shop to anyone. read more

This place is bad. They are not professional. They are not detail oriented. If someone looks at your car after it has been fixed by them, they could tell your car was crashed. Also, they leave your car with new scratches. You call them and they only listen to you but do not do anything. read more

If there was a zero star rating I would rate this place a zero. A one star is generous. The guy who runs this shop is a crook. He is connected with shady tow truck drivers as well. My daughter was involved in a late evening accident and not knowing any better she agreed to have her car towed to this place. I called the next morning and spoke with Amir, at the shop. He said the car wasn't there. Called the tow truck driver and he said he dropped it off there. I smelled BS. Called Amir back, he said sorry car was in the back. I had a weird feeling with this guy and told him I want my car released to my insurance company. He dragged his feet for another day and I;m like what the F. He finally released the vehicle two days later and charged my insurance company $785.00 for the tow, storage fee's, admin fee, dolly ( even though the tow truck was a flat bed)!! Do yourself a favor- don't listen to tow truck drivers who insist on taking your car to After Collision Center..Crooks! read more
