I was feeling very apprehensive about purchasing a 12-year-old Avalanche without seeing it firsthand but Ashley answered my questions very completely and professionally to ease my concerns. Then Tommy sent a very compressively narrated video of the truck that made me even more at ease. After a brief discussion we reached what I believed was a fair price and began the process of purchasing and shipping the vehicle. The whole process was very pleasant and efficient and in less than a week the vehicle is sitting in my garage in Magnolia Texas. I haven't had time to toughly inspect the vehicle but my initial opinion is very positive. My husband purchased a 2020 Ford F-150 from Tropical Auto Sales as a first-time buyer. Throughout the sales process, the salesperson, Thomas, repeatedly represented that the truck was approximately $16,000 and that the total cost would only be "a little more" with financing. At no point were we given a clear explanation of the total amount we would ultimately pay or how significantly the financing would increase the overall cost. The most concerning part of our experience happened when Thomas suggested that I be added as a co-signer. I was not present at the dealership. Instead of asking us to return together or arranging for me to sign properly, Thomas instructed my husband: "Sign for her." Trusting that the salesperson was following the correct procedure, my husband signed my name based on those instructions. When we carefully reviewed the paperwork afterward, we discovered that the total amount of the transaction was approximately $32,000 including the down payment, which was dramatically different from what we understood during the sales conversation. The following day I received a phone call from Thomas asking me to contact my manager so he could verify my employment. When I explained that I was willing to verify my employment through appropriate channels but was not comfortable involving my manager directly, the conversation became uncomfortable and I was told that our credit could be affected if I did not cooperate. Wanting to resolve the situation, my husband and I returned to the dealership. On our first visit we spoke with Ariel, who treated us respectfully, listened carefully and even tried to offer possible alternatives. We truly appreciated his professionalism. Unfortunately, when we later spoke again with Thomas, we continued receiving inconsistent explanations regarding both the pricing and the sales process, leaving us with even less confidence. This review is not about the truck itself. It is about the buying experience. Purchasing a vehicle is one of the biggest financial decisions most families make, and customers deserve complete transparency, honest explanations, and proper handling of legal documents throughout the process. My advice to anyone considering buying here is simple: read every document carefully, ask for the total amount you will pay over the life of the loan, never rely solely on verbal explanations, and never sign on behalf of another person. I sincerely hope ownership reviews this situation internally and takes the necessary steps to ensure future customers receive the transparency and professionalism they deserve.

The Finance Director Rodney Maharrey was hard to get a hold of for after purchase service. Speaking to a live person at the Palm Beach dealership was impossible. Even the agents at the customer service center couldn't get a hold of anyone in Palm Beach. I emailed and texted Rodney and he informed me on January 5th he would pull the documents and cancel them. I followed up with an email on the status with no response. Instead of wasting my time with these incompetent agents on the phone and the Palm Beach Dealership that is non-responsive I filed a complaint to the Better Business Bureau. What this dealership and finance department is doing isn't right. I have every right to cancel those service contracts within a month of purchase. I DO NOT RECOMMEND purchasing from the Palm Beach dealership. YES I made the mistake of purchasing a Mercedes from Mazda. The poor and pathetic customer service from Mazda just displays that Mercedes is superior in all ways. That is why I don't want any service contracts from Mazda. Here are a few reasons to never step foot in this place as well as keep your friends and family away too. Please read through. 1. They will approve anyone because they know that in a lot of cases the person will default and they can legally repossess the car back and make tons of money. 2. They NEVER take down cars from their website after theyre sold because they are "hooks" and all the people wanting the cars are "fish". They will literally tell you that a sold car is available based on where you live, just so they can possibly sell you another car when you get there and realize the car you wanted has been sold. 3. They tell their sales team to make fake profiles of hot girls to attract customers in, then when you get there they say that girl is on break or isnt here anymore or something crazy. 4. A ton of their vehicles are in very poor condition. I went on a test drive where the car needed a battery jump pack attached to even drive the car. The customer wanted the battery replaced so that the car would be safe to drive home and the owner refused. Its really sad that this company continues to grow after screwing over countless people. Spread the word!

The technician initially wrote up services I did not request (alignment, balancing, and tire rotation). I had to correct this and clarify that I wanted a proper diagnostic check first. Despite having an appointment, I waited over three hours only to be told the vehicle hadn't even been taken into the shop. After escalating the issue to the service manager, the vehicle was finally looked at. Within 30 minutes, I was told I needed four new tires and an alignment at a cost of $1,200. This felt rushed and questionable, especially without a thorough explanation. I declined and decided to get a second opinion. I then went to Tires Plus, where the assessment was completely different. They confirmed I did NOT need new tires. They performed an alignment, balanced the tires, and completed an oil change--all for $356.98. The vibration issue was resolved. Additionally, the dealership failed to note that my vehicle was due for an oil change, even though it was clearly indicated. Based on this experience, I will not be returning. The lack of organization, poor communication, and what felt like unnecessary upselling does not inspire confidence. Thank you

I gave it a second chance but I'm not sure why. But onto my problem and this was second lease through them. Just a heads up if your getting a car lease through Schumacher and they go through a credit union like Velocity that uses Fusion Lease company. This basically is a 3rd party lease. I cannot return the car lease to the dealership. (It has to be picked up by a car pickup company that fusion schedules). I also normally would get the disposition fee waived if I am buying another VW or sister car like Audi, and usually the mileage if over, all or some of it usually be waived if I buy or lease another car but none of this applies. Schumacher never told me any of this and unfortunately I thought I had a normal lease like my previous one through them. The new dealership that I bought a car from that is a sister dealership was willing to write these things off but because it went through a credit union(which the dealer never heard of any lease going through a credit union) was not able to find me in the system stop do this. Now here I am with having to pay a disposition fee and paying extra mileages and sometimes there is an amount they will give as an allowance for wear and tear, but that doesn't apply either. Just an fyi because I was under the assumption my lease was a normal lease process and Schumacher never made me aware of any of this. My guess is Schumacher has some kind of deal or kickback from them but they definitely should let you know the normal leasing circumstances does not apply if you are going through a credit union because it uses a 3rd party leasing company. Very deceptive practice of Schumacher.
