I made a follow up appointment and that says a lot about the service I received there because that a rarity customer service is a big deal for me. One thing that really stuck out to me was how comfortable her table was, it allowed me to feel at ease from the very beginning. Her shop is very quaint and colourful the whole ambiance is great! I've had terrible experiences with painful facials, redness and breaking out after threading and getting burnt by waxing. After these experiences I am very picky about who I allow going near my delicate face. After years of not letting anyone touch my face Nas made me feel so comfortable and in control of the outcome of her services. She was extremely accommodating and allowed me to be very specific about how i wanted things, greatly easing my anxiety. The first time I went to Beauty by Nas I got threading of my eyebrows and upper lip. She is a marksman for eyebrows and was great about keeping my brows thick but shaped. With no weird red bumps from threading after my first experience I was hooked and knew I found a trustworthy woman that i needed to hang onto closely! The second time I visited Nas I decided to treat myself to a facial, conquering a second fear. It was sooooo relaxing I thought i knew how bad my first facial was but in truth had no idea how terrible until receiving the most relaxing, cleansing facial ever! Nas is so thorough, she took her time extracting from my problem areas of nose and around my lips. My face felt like it took a deep cleansing breath of fresh air! Soft music was played during my service helping me ease into a state of relaxation. My favorite part of the treatment was the arm and hand massage. Sooo relaxing and enjoyable. I really felt like my skin was glowing after this treatment. If I had an abundance of cash I would be visiting Rachel on a monthly basis! But as of now, facials are a bit out of my price range. So maybe some folks would like this but it really wasn't my thing. Vanessa herself is delightful. She is cheery and friendly (perhaps a bit too chatty if you are just trying to relax). I find that skin people tend to be more chatty than massage therapists though -- makes it feel a little like they are trying to sell you on their products and services. I probably won't be back but if you are into facials, give her a try. After your first visit, I think she gives you a break on the prices compared to what is listed on her website.
