The place is located on the bottom floor of a commercial space. There are three massage rooms available, two which look to just house one bed each and then one which was able to accommodate two beds for a couple's massage. The whole place was appointed very tastefully, with little touches to enhance relaxation. We filled out a form asking about any particular problems or areas of focus, and we were able to talk about our goals for the experience with the therapists before they started. After we were undressed and on the table, the therapists turned down the lights and there was some calming music played. Our massages were extremely professional and relaxing. I know that I prefer a lighter massage, and Katie was great at making sure that I wasn't experiencing any pain but was still getting the circulation and muscle manipulation benefits. My fiance prefers a deeper massage, and his therapist was able to get some knots out of his neck that have been tense for awhile. Not only did she help rehabilitate my leg, but she zapped stress in various trigger points (forearm, wrists, feet)....in places where I had long ignored. She also tipped me some advice on how to manage levels of tension especially in the feet as it does leave one prone to hamstring injuries. He let's you know where you are out of alignment before you usually say anything. He makes sure to take his time, and answer any of your questions/concerns and does the best he can to get you feeling better. I never leave my appointment feeling horrible, because if you don't feel right, you say something and he makes it better. My wife and I go every 6 weeks for maintenance, but before we got to that point it was a more regular visit starting weekly, and then moving out. I can definitely tell when it is getting close to when I need to be adjusted as things feel really out of line. The office is always clean, smells great as there is a massage therapist on site as well, and there is another chiropractor named Dr. Tony. The receptionist Amy is fantastic, and overall they feel like family/friends and not going to the doctors. If you have a flare up they will do their best to get you into the office to see the doctor. Before you start with getting adjusted they either get x-rays in the office or have you go get some so he knows exactly what is going on before doing anything. My appointment was early morning. When I walked in the front desk associate greeted me kindly and had me fill out paperwork. It wasn't long after that I was called back for my massage. The room setup looked nice. However, the room was ice cold. It was on the second story of this house. It was so cold that even the heated bed barely had an effect. The masseuse had ice cold hands too. So it was far from relaxing because it was like ice cubes touching you every time you are trying to relax. I don't blame her because I'm sure she was cold too. Obviously. What I didn't like was that I could hear my masseuse chewing her gum the entire time. Christmas music was playing the entire time too. I like Christmas music but not when I'm getting a massage...that's far from relaxing lol. You also could hear every noise in the building. Customers walking in downstairs and talking, loud random bangs, etc. I would not recommend coming here for a massage.
