The salon was beautiful. Rachel has a quiet room back behind the front desk. It was a dark lit room with candle light. Soft music was played during my service helping me ease into a state of relaxation. My favorite part of the treatment was the arm and hand massage. Sooo relaxing and enjoyable. The waiting area is very bright and welcoming, and everything is so clean - a wonderful first impression that says 'details matter here' and made me feel like my care will be stellar. The receptionist was very friendly and welcoming. Shortly after arriving (hardly any wait time), I met Dr. Ashley Knavel. She performed a small procedure on me. Now, the procedure itself is not a pleasant one but Dr. Knavel made it bearable and worked quickly and carefully to complete it. It certainly wasn't my favorite part of my day but she did a superb job and was very gentle. I hope to never need this procedure again, but if I do: I'd go back to see Dr. Knavel. I did read the reviews here on Yelp - you should probably disregard *all* reviews prior to 2022. When I was in the office, I learned that this location (353 Kenmore Ave, in Tonawanda) used to belong to *another* dermatologist and that DeLuke Dermatology acquired the space a few years ago when that dermatologist retired, and even expanded the space. It is my understanding that this location has a completely new staff from the staff that was here prior to 2022. Which makes sense because everyone I spoke with or was helped by was very pleasant.
