09/06/2025 This coffee shop is highly rated, so my friend and I stopped by on a Saturday morning around 9:30AM. We thought parking might be a problem since it's in Phoenix, but it's in the Desert Sun Plaza which has its own parking lot. There was plenty of parking at that time, probably because the restaurants around there weren't open yet. There were just a couple of people in the cafe, but it got a bit busier around 10AM. The space looked very artistic and featured sculptures and drawings for sale from local artists. They also have a film lab in there which adds to the creative aesthetic. The café offers the typical espresso options like macchiato, cortado, cappuccino, and lattes. For teas, they have black iced tea and ceremonial grade matcha. The matcha was listed as sweetened with local honey, vanilla, and fleur d'orange. The barista asked if I wanted it sweetened with honey, and I declined it. I really appreciated that they asked and didn't just assume that I wanted it sweetened. For milk options, it was just whole milk or oat milk. I got it with whole milk, and the drink was perfect. It took about 10 minutes to get my drink, but it was worth the wait. In the meantime, we browsed the artwork and merch. My friend got the vanilla latte, but she said they added too much vanilla to her liking. They sell pastries too but didn't have any when we were there - I wonder if they sold out already? This place is pretty quiet, so it'd be a good spot to work from, but probably not for a coffee date/catch-up.

We've been wanting to come here for a while and finally made it out. The entrance is a little inconspicuous, but there is street parking nearby. The ambience and vibe is so cool and unique from other coffee shops. They have a big space which they utilise with retro decorations. Our drinks were delicious, the matcha was rich and flavourful. We will definitely be visiting again!

Aftermarket is a coffee shop meets underground art gallery tucked away in the Arts District of AZ. To get here, street parking will be your best bet and there is a good amount of it all around the area. Inside, they have a modern industrial setup with a good amount of seating and an art gallery in the back of the shop. They have a spacious setup with about 4-5 tables inside and a couple tables outside as well. For their menu, they have a nice selection of different coffee and matcha drinks. I got the Strawberry Banana Matcha drink and it had a good balance of sweetness. Overall, I enjoyed perusing around the shop and checking out the art they have in the shared space. All of the staff here are very friendly and welcoming. Stop by to check out the art, grab a drink, and come back to thank me later for the put on!

Art gallery meets coffee shop. It has industrial vibes, all while being inviting. The artwork is eclectic, the space is interesting to explore, and the drinks are very tasty. I only wish they had some decaf options for those of us who are sensitive to caffeine. A very nice barrista who was friendly and helpful with recommendations. Street parking was easy to find on a Saturday afternoon. Would definitely come back and recommend to friends!

Good coffee and very nice baristas. Outdoor sign can be easy to miss, but good quiet location with side parking. Lots of indoor seating and good ambience regarding music and art.

This place is purely vibes. Right away you walk in to a dj spinning some great beats and a super social environment. There is also a small film shop/developer inside which is nice if you're into that. The service was so friendly but our drinks did take a while but they were very busy so it makes sense! The chai was very milky but alright and the coffee was strong but flavorful. If you love visiting social coffee shops this place is for you!

Stopped by on a Friday afternoon really chill easy street parking. Love the vibe and aesthetic of this place - very unique. I'm not the biggest coffee drinker so asked for a recommendation. The barista was very friendly and walked us through what we liked etc. we settled on the shakerato and a Lumio matcha latte. Don't really remember how he broke it down but they were both amazing. Coffee was fruity and strong but not overbearing, and the latte was complex with orange blossom honey and high quality matcha. Both drinks were 10/10 and $13 for both of them. Highly recommend this nice vibe, great drinks.

This under the radar coffee shop is fantastic. The space is fantastic for working on your laptop or socializing. The spot is just on the side off Grand Ave. and feels cool and modern. The space is bright and lined with cool photographs and art. There is ample seating to either sit alone or with others. The staff here is great. Every time I have gone the baristas have been very friendly and helpful. I've told them what kind of drink I'm feeling like and they point me towards something very, very flavorful that hits the spot. I recommend the bizou. This coffee drink has a hint of honey in it that makes your standard iced coffee even better. The chai is also great and easily beats out any that I've had at other cafes. The signage isn't super clear on the building so be sure to look out for the pop up sign on the sidewalk. The spot is to the left of Bacanora a few doors down. Parking is pretty easy around the cafe with street parking and a big lot between Grand and 15th.

:( I physically felt the chunks in each sip of this drink and white chunks would be left on my lips after drinking. There were millions of them. Most of the drink was just chunks. This was so gross and I'm not sure why I was served this tbh...like if I made someone a drink and saw that there were millions of chunks in it I'd probably check in with myself to see what went wrong and not give it to them pretending like nothing's wrong. The place is cute though but the guy working didn't seem like he cared. It just sucks wasting my money.

The look of this place is so cool, definitely different from any coffee shop I've been too but I'm a matcha hunter I'm looking for a good and reliable place for a matcha latte and this wasn't it the matcha was very milky and lacked flavor but definitely a cool place

[Parking]: Mostly metered parking and I ended up parking few blocks away from the shop (plenty of metered parking spots near the intersection of E McKinley St & N 5th St). [Atmosphere]: Inside of this historic house, the wall features the work of local artists. The shop also has a cute outdoor patio area with tables. [Menu]: Apparently Matcha Latte is one of the more popular drinks here. The shop offers 12 black tea options, 9 green tea options, 8 herbal tea options, 4 white tea options, and 3 oolong tea options. *** Matcha Latte (16 oz, iced - $6.25): I was surprised that my drink was sugar free by default and I probably say yes when the staff had asked about adding sweetener. The drink was not as creamy as I thought and it was honestly a fairly mediocre drink. The drink also came with a paper straw. *** A great spot for a casual 1st date due to great vibe, but matcha latte just didn't hit the spot.

I've been to other places that serve Kettl matcha, but none have tasted nearly as rich as Futuro's. The atmosphere itself is true to its name. It is futuristic, simple, and beautiful. It is full of unique art pieces of all types, and they sell their coffees and teas as well. I feel at peace inside and they always have vibey music playing at a perfect volume and incense lit. The service itself is one of a kind and makes me feel like I'm at a 5-star restaurant. They will even package your food up for you, which I would never expect from a coffee shop. It can be busy at times with a bit of a wait because the drinks are all made one at a time, but it's always worth the wait. The place isn't very big but has plenty of seating given the space. It's a fantastic coffee shop designed with simplicity and producivity in mind - hosted in a gorgeous building with exposed brick and ceilings, which give it an industrial feel. My take on the space was it breathes this interesting balance of lingering, connection with others, and productivity. Almost every seat had a corresponding table, so that's a warm invitation to bring your devices in. There was a Ducati (!!!) parked right across from the coffee bar, which I later learned belongs to the owner just sharing his passion with the coffee community. Small detail, but it says something about the place. Definitely not a coffee shop trying to be a copy and paste chain. Menu had a few creative options I wouldn't mind coming back to try. They've also got their own merch line; the cups were also designed well enough that you'd actually want to keep one. There's street art right across from the shop worth a look if you've got a few minutes to spare. If you don't mind a short drive for a great cup and a space that actually feels lived in, this one delivers. PS - Parking can be tricky. It looks like there's ample space to park, but a lot of that is for Galvanize and the offices in the building. Towing trucks come over often, so heads up if you're going to park there. The housemade syrups are a refreshing upside from the commercial syrups used at a lot of coffee shops. Almond and oatmilk substitutes are available. I like that you can add more syrup to up the sweetness, but it will cost ya. TOUCH GRASS (seasonal)- this strawberry match had a nice sweet and bitter balance of the matcha. The creaminess also mellowed out the whole drink. It is very mild with the strawberry so the sweetness was subtle. Not bad, but depending if you want more strawberry flavor you should add extra shot of strawberry syrup. Overall I think it was a really good strawberry matcha; one of the best I've had. The inside is large and spacious but very sterile like a museum. It kinda gave a cold ambiance. The only downside is that the parking lot is not huge. The spaces in the actual lot are very sparse. The side lot for parking is inconvenient as you have to walk around the long fence just to go in, so trying to get in and out quickly might be a problem. You can definitely get your coffee buzz here, but just remember folks, buzzed driving is caffeinated driving.

So as I said, I got the mango black tea and it was very strong. I didn't even drink the whole thing you couldn't tell that it was mango. It just tasted like harsh, strong tea, one of the other girls in the group went back up they had to remake her coffee. They said that there was a new employee working there and they were sorry. Which is totally understandable, but at the same time I think each one of us had an uncertain experience with flavor of our drinks where it was like either the coffee was too strong. The tea was too strong unflavored for mine. So the mango black tea is unsweet and normally I love unsweet tea. That's all I get, but this tea just did not do it for me. I give it a four star because of the cleanliness and the workers are sweet and I love the environment, but the product itself I was not impressed with.
