That means the truck was either in my drive already or just down the street, turned him around and tells me I'm the one that has to wait another 2 hours After they called me the first time, @ 10:50, I called my soon to be ex-wife and told her I would pick up our son to go play as soon as they were done. Which she told him. My son is very young, has autism and emotional issues. To say breaking promises to a child like that is not recommended, it's an understatement. This company was about to have me break my promise to my son. Why would they do that when a simple phone call(s) would have sufficed? Did they get more money from this other job that was so important they had to call their truck away from my driveway? I had the owner, Mike Johnson, call me back. I told him my story and he did not sound the least bit concerned. All he did was ask what he can do to "make it go away". No apology, sounded like he just wanted to get me off the phone. He said he was busy b/c he had 12 trucks on the road. I turned him down and told him everything I'm writing here. I'm a very understanding person. Sometimes people make mistakes. If these guys would have called me at the last second and told me they would be a couple hours late I could have understood but what they did instead is just plain unethical and, quite frankly, pretty messed up. If they can do something like this, what else are they capable of? Not only did he lose my business from my new place, I still own a house w/ my soon to be ex-wife and he lost my business on that house too. Save your time. Maybe you have to pay a few dollars more, maybe you get the same price or lower but either way you'll probably get a company that is more ethical in their standards.

Some areas weren't going to get painted because he said we didn't ask for that included in the quote like the entry way of the living room (we thought that was the same room but apparently not), and billed us more. My biggest complaint though is he painted an entire area the wrong color and said I was to blame. He laughed it off and said it's too late now. I looked at my text messages later and saw that I did ask for the right color and it was in writing!

Chris starts with Low Pressure Soap.... then after circling your entire house, letting the soap soak in, he makes another: "Lap" with medium pressure rinse. His patient attention to details leaves your house really bright! On the (paver) patio, he uses a scrubbing machine then a high pressure rinse leaving the surface absolutely immaculate! Horrible company. Would give negative stars if possible…read more Due to space limitations we can't give full details or list all the problems, lies, or unprofessional business practices encountered but we'll give the highlights. Contracted with Hinckley Roofing to do tear off and roof replacement on small house. Subcontracted crew only tarped front of house and left other sides exposed. Majority of shingles and debris were thrown off sides and back, not front. Left excessive black marks on vinyl siding and large scratches/gouges on aluminum window trim where shingles hit. Only the front looked mostly okay because of tarp. Siding in very good condition prior to damage they caused. Showed us picture of front with tarp and lied about the rest being tarped until we shared video from security cameras showing shingles raining down against the siding. Their solution was to scrub each streak and power wash the siding, destroying the surface so there were glaring shiny and dull patches alternating across sides and back of house. This was unacceptable to us. Met with them again and were told if we gave it 6 months we wouldn't be able to tell; it would even out. Gave it 6 months and it looks worse. Roof cost just over $9,200. Bids from siding companies were all higher than that amount but Hinckley would only offer half the cost in credit for damages. Said anything more would be unfair to them. When we didn't accept their offer, we were told they'd put lien on house and we could work it out with their insurance company then. Deadline for filing valid lien had passed after so much time but they would file anyway. The only way we could get lien removed then would be to hire attorney and file a lawsuit to have lien invalidated. We opted to take their low offer and be done with them.

That…read morebusiness fixed the problem of water coming into our house but did nothing about our cracked basement wall, which only got worse over time to the point where the wall was in danger of collapsing. Despite the seriousness of that wall's condition, one or two other companies recommended wall anchor systems, which Brandon recognized would be insufficient to hold back a concrete block wall as deteriorated as ours. He also noted the insulation put around the base of our house by the previous company was meant for indoor use. We did make attempts to contact the company that did the original work, but it was murder trying to get them to respond. They finally did, but by that point we'd decided to go with Hart, even though the other company would've been less expensive. We just didn't trust that first company anymore. I'm glad we chose Hart because they did an excellent job. Brandon was very professional, letting us know what was involved each step of the way. They worked hard and fast and we finally have a great solid basement wall. I'd recommend Hart in an instant to anyone who needs waterproofing and foundation repair.

We had multiple companies out to quote the repair (big name companies that you see advertising everywhere). They all wanted to put band-aids on the problem, Hart Masonry was the only company that wanted to get to the heart of the issue and fix the entire basement so the foundation would be good for life. Most of the digging was done entirely by hand and the repair took 3 days less than originally expected which was a nice surprise.They were polite, efficient, willing to work around our schedule, and cleaned up after the work was completed. I would not hesitate to recommend Hart Masonry and Waterproofing to anyone that has basement structural or water issues.
