    This company is used by my insurance company,USAA, to select what is suppose to be a quality…read moreContractor for flood damage repair. They referred Modification Roofing. This company is trash, the owner is Sharbel Tannery, a compulsive falsifier who uses what he think is good southern charm to try to earn your trust and loves calling you "darling." He will tell you, you are going to get the best work because he is great at what he does and go on with how long he has been doing it and how long his guys have been working for him. He also loves to say he has an assistant, yet he can't get a damn thing done. He will always get back to you when he get in the office, but doesn't seem to do that 99% of the time or he can't call the assistant for the simplest things he needs. Don't fall for it. He tries to work off memory, but can't remember anything causing repetitive work too. I reported my concerns to Carmen at Accuserve and sent pictures. I never heard back. They don't care because he tries to take on as many jobs as he can and produce poor quality which benefits them because they make money too. Even USAA stated they contacted them about him, but they never addressed it. That may have been a faux paw. I find it hard to believe they ignore their source of revenue. Both Accuserve and Modification Roofing are horrible. I will upload photos to support my documentation. My job, he said, was a small one that would take 6-8 weeks, but he stretched it out to 5 months until I was given permission to sever ties. They worked when they chose too. They frequently performed repeated work due to lack of attention to detail, time mgt & organizational skills. It started with crown molding. I walked in and saw gold crown molding; I had given them the builders sample containers. His workers are doing rush jobs and not reading or asking questions for clarification. I tried to offer as much info as I could. I was flabbergasted when I found my broken bed rails. They slid it back under expecting me not to find it until they were gone, I suppose. They used all my plush charmin tissue left in the bathrooms even though it was not my responsibility to provide tissue bc this was a construction site so they were suppose to bring their own or improvise. There had to be about 10-15 rolls out. Even extra in the laundry room, but they didn't notice that. That's where the lost toilet was initially stored. They went in my garage and opened a pack of tissue from my bulk supply to clean their butt. I laid into Sharbel. The nerve of them! I treat others property the way I like mines to be treated. I know I will check a person about mines because I work hard for it and to maintain it. Needless to say, I am highly disappointed in this company and my insurance for using such a substandard contractor because I felt like I was a Project Manager from start to finish and they should have a better system for vetting contractors. They should not have allowed this contractor act this way nor to commit fraud because he did exactly that when he billed them and failed to do several of the things he charged them for. I sat on the phone with my adjuster for 2 hours and went line by line over the charges Sharbel submitted to them for the service he was doing. He never went back and said he didn't do any of the things I contested at end. I have provided photos. He knows there are cameras in and outside my home. This is exactly why insurance rates are constantly increasing. My insurance is going after the company that created the item that caused the damage, but they didn't seem too eager to go after Sharbel because I had been telling them all alone that he charged for things he didn't do. They kept dismissing it, but I didn't let it go. Please read the line items when you have disasters like this. No matter how trustworthy a contractor seems, pay attention to the work they are doing and ensure they are doing what their suppose to do. Never sign anything for them unless your Adjuster says it's ok. Adjusters come take photos for a reason. Get everything, I mean everything in writing. Keep a trail. I asked this contractor to do a very small job for me in the beginning outside of the insurance work and offered to pay. He said that's ok, you don't have to pay me. Then he tried to throw it in my face when I was telling on him to the adjuster. I threw it right back and told him I know you wasn't being nice thinking that was going to making up for your wrongs. That's why I offered to pay you. I am hiring contractors to fix the things he didn't do properly now, but he has to reimburse me per the Adjuster. Sorry for such a lengthy review, but I hope this can help others.
