By the time he said it was ready, he had removed al varnish and the pick guard saying he had trouble removing the tape. That he'll fix it for some extra cash. And not only that. It wa so hard to get in contact with him as well. He will hardly answer his phone or call back when messages were left. More than once we tried to stop by and wasn't there. The lady from the hair salon next door will tell us he was at his other job fixing floors, furniture or something. After 3 months of phone calls and visits. We now have a guitar that needs to be refinished. Not only he did a very poor job, he saId he didn't have the pick guard to replace the one he removed. But he didn't care to listen when I was telling him how disappointed I was with the job and service I will never recommend this place to anyone.

Here is the best part though, when picking up my Martin, I inquired about them fixing one of my other guitars for me. I have an old guitar that was broken around 2005, and all this time thought was a lost cause due to other shop saying it couldn't be fixed, however after showing it to Mike and Chase, they were willing to try and fix it, and they did! It was broken some 19 years ago, and this whole time it's gnawed at the back of my mind that it was broken and would never be properly playable ever again, and they were able to fix it, for $97!!! They took a sadness that has been hanging on my shoulders for almost two decades, something I've always been mad about with how it was broken, and lifted that sadness away. Truly amazing, and I'm so grateful for their expertise. Plus, they're exceptionally personable and nice, which is everything you want when needing help. I will be a regular from here on out for anything I need. Thanks again, guys, y'all rock!

Writing this review is not fun, satisfying, or in any way granting me a sense of closure. I…read moregenuinely wish the best for Lance and his business, but my experience must be shared. Early 2019 I bought my dream amp: an early 70's Sunn Model T. After receiving and unpacking the artifact, I started searching for local amp techs and decided to go with Tone Dr. after consideration of cost and distance. My first visit was all well and good, dropped the amp off for a post-shipping checkup and re-tube. Turnaround was quick and the price wasn't too bad compared to the more established competition. Even was promised a lifetime warranty, which seemed strange as no tech I've encountered up to this point issues a blanket guarantee on amplifiers. The amp worked without issue for a few weeks until one night when one of the 6550 tubes began to white flash when signal was introduced. Immediately killed the power and notified Lance, who agreed it should be brought in. Long story short, after waiting a month, finally had to call and call and call before I was told that the amp was ready. After receiving the amp again, with two new tubes and some replaced internals, I get it back home. 48 hours later my 1970's Sunn Model T white flashes again and catches fire within the chassis from normal use at concert volume. Normally I'd be concerned if my amp failed this quickly after turnaround, especially with the Model T, which is notorious for failure when pushed way past normal boundaries (it wasn't), but I have never, EVER heard of an amplifier setting itself on fire in this manner unless something internally was installed improperly. Why not take it back and use the lifetime warranty? There is no way, short of putting a loaded gun to my head, that I would ever entertain that idea. Amps should never catch fire through normal use, and therefore we know the cause. Steamboat Amps brought my Model T back to life and as of this writing, there are zero problems. Pic related: the resurrected amp. That baggie on top of it is full of the parts that had to be replaced due to the fire. Incompetence, oversight, lack of due diligence... call it whatever you want. It cost me over half a grand to rectify the Doctor's malpractice. As much as I would love to recommend this business, I'm now forced to do the opposite.

Room can accommodate up to 5 people, but might be a little tight. 24/7 line is available if you need it. I will definitely be back for another session. You save if you book more than 4 hrs.I would probably book an extra 30 mins for setup and takedown. Gives you a chance to figure out new equipment and get your bearings before you start jamming. Only minor downsides: Lounge and store was closed when I went in on a Saturday morning. That's ok I snacked ahead of time, but I wanted some merch to support. I'd recommend maybe putting up "exit/entry only" signs on the parking lot gates. When leaving, I sat waiting for the gate to open, but then I just reversed my car and went to the other gate. I spoke to the owner "Jake" about my concerns. Jake refused to listen to my concerns, he stated, "I don't care." I continued talking and he had a meltdown.
