I contacted A & A back in June because of the positive reviews that were posted on Yelp. The first…read morevisit with Amy went fine, so we scheduled the sale for late July and I signed the agreement. The sale was scheduled for 7/27; closing on sale of the house had been scheduled for 7/30. On the morning of 7/21 Amy and her husband came to the house again. This meeting didn't feel right. They were dismayed that I didn't have an extra set of keys to give them, and that the carport did not have a gate that could be locked. This was the first I had heard about either of these conditions, but I told them I would get a set of keys ASAP, even though I was completely willing to let them in when needed, then leave them alone in the house if necessary (their preference to be alone). I checked the agreement that I had signed, and nowhere does it say that A & A needs their own set of keys. There was nothing I could do about the carport, but nothing more was said. Early that afternoon, 7/21, I received a text that they would not do the sale because of these two issues. Both could easily be fixed, but there was no discussion with me. I had already said I would provide keys (although everyone I mentioned this to thought it was odd), and the outdoor items in the storage sheds could either be set out the day of the sale, or simply omitted from the sale and left in the sheds. Since I do not live in TX and the closing was imminent I was desperate for this sale to happen when scheduled. I literally begged them to reconsider, and they grudgingly agreed. The sale did take place; the results were so-so, but that's not the issue. I'm aware that I was not their ideal client since I was trying to clear out the home of a pack rat and there weren't many items of significant value. If they had reviewed the pictures they took on the first visit and the additional ones that I sent and then decided it wasn't worth their time I might have had time to find someone else. But between hiring them and holding the sale they made no effort to communicate with me unless I contacted them first. And cancelling at the eleventh hour, and by text rather than phone call, was a very low blow that caused me a great deal of stress. Since others appear to have had a good experience with this company I am happy for them; I only wish my experience had been half as good.

Their selection is consistently impressive -- a wide variety of furniture, home décor, tools, and unique finds, all thoughtfully organized and easy to browse. What really stands out is their pricing. Items are clearly marked and reasonably priced, making it easy to feel confident you're getting good value without the stress or guesswork you sometimes find at other sales. Most importantly, the customer service is outstanding. Elizabeth and her team are friendly, professional, and genuinely helpful. They go out of their way to answer questions, keep things well organized, and create a welcoming atmosphere. You can tell they care about both their clients and their customers, which makes the whole experience enjoyable from start to finish. If you're looking for estate sales with great selection, fair pricing, and a team that truly values customer service, Four Seasons Estate Sales is a top choice.

****DO NOT USE THESE GUYS!**** I went to them at the…read morerecommendation of my father's ex-wife. Mark, one of the owners, lives 3 house down from my dad's ex-wife. He knew my father personally and promised to do the best job for my families heirloom pieces. Although a very personable guy, Mark, his partner Dwayne, and the rest of the team, did the worst possible effort I have ever imagined. Hey waited til the last min to list items at auction and had poor results. They had zero security at our very large sale. My family had very old items and this team allowed items to be stolen, rendering items worthless. Items were way overpriced and when offers were presented, not one person contacted me to discuss the offers. Items that were marked as "Not for sale", were either sold or stolen. Damage was done to the home and new construction. We opted for the after sale clean out, and then team basically threw away almost everything left over. I also found items in an employees garage and honestly have no idea if they just took what they want or paid for them. There was no invoice showing sales on items. When I got paid, they showed their pay, their credit card charge fees, clean out charge, and my portion. Because there is not proof of sales, I was JUST TOLD what they were. After the sale, I had angry customers showing up at the house, mad because 4 Seasons doesn't answer their phones and the customer needed a title for a boat. The employees wanted pass on messages to the customer about a title. Say What?! I felt like I was taken for a ride, so I attended an estate sale by Lionheart the day after our sale. Lionheart had security in literally every room, garage, porch, and entry. They had collectable items located near the checkout tables to be watched and managed. The flow was impressive and I cant imagine they allowed items of value to be stolen. ****AGAIN...I STRONGLY ADVISE AGAINST USING THIS COMPANY!! You have been warned!

The sale was conducted very professionally, and we were more than pleased with the outcome. They took care of donating the remaining items, giving us a receipt and photos for documentation of the donation, and left the house cleaner than when we started. I feel sure we would not have come out better conducting a sale ourselves, and would have spent far more time to achieve anything close to their results. Beyond this, the staff was friendly and kind to my mother and our family, and I felt great about their communication. They made it very clear what was included in their service, and handled everything with integrity and transparency. Certainly would use them again or refer them to friends or neighbors needing to conduct an estate sale.

It has nothing to do with emotions it has to do with cash and how much was taken. I'm writing this review almost a year and a half after the incident so there are no emotions that are raw or exaggerated. I really hope my original review remains or else I'm gonna have to redo it. Like someone else said, you might as well open the doors and have a sale yourself. At least you might make a little bit more money than they'll give you.
