Great contractor. They do quality work and were very quick. We had an optometry office over 2000 sq feet that needed paint and flooring, granite counter tops, LED lighting installation. They were able to complete everything in a 2 week time frame and came back to do touch ups on things even after everything was settled. This was three years ago. We used them again for a couple other rooms in the office and are planning on using them again for our house now. Tammy is great and very friendly over the phone coordinating everything and Ilan is the man to go to for any problems. He is honest and trustworthy. I flip houses and do remodeling constantly and these are my go to guys. Their work is excellent! They have amazing craftsmanship. They come on time, they don't leave a mess behind when they are done with their work for the day and they are very friendly. I have had them resurface a couple pools, re-do several bathrooms, and many kitchens. I have dealt with many construction companies in the Los Angles area and most of them are pretty terrible, but AGA is great ! We had a great experience working with Ron and AGA Construction on a large home renovation and kitchen remodel. Ron was in constant communication with us about our project and the timeline and was very responsive to our many questions, always responding to texts and phone calls in a timely fashion. We've never renovated a home before so it was important to us to know everything that would be happening and when, and Ron really helped us feel comfortable with the entire process. All of the workers from AGA did top notch, very professional work, including installing a tricky glass subway tile backsplash in the kitchen. Ron's prices were extremely reasonable and very competitive compared to the other quotes we received for the same scope of work. Most importantly, all the work was completed on time and within budget--no surprises and no constant push-back of deadlines (I have had some friends share some real horror stories about their contractors so I am particularly grateful for this!). These guys are overpriced and rude. An estimator came by today and quoted me nearly $10,000 to replace 3 cabinets and a countertop. He quoted me on the spot and was fishing for whether the price seemed to high by asking if I had got other estimates. When I asked him to break down the price. He couldn't. He then said good luck and rudely walked out. These guys are just trying to take advantage of uninformed consumers. AVOID! read more

We hired Ilan and AGA for a kitchen remodel. We demolished the service porch and a small 3/4 bath and applied the space to the kitchen. Everything was replaced--cabinetry, floor, tile, appliances, lighting, door, windows, security wiring, We added an island. The project took about three months. It was completed on budget. AGA was very professional. They worked continuously and cleaned up daily. They masked off adjacent rooms effectively. Absolutely no complains. My husband and I decided it was time to expand our home and add a bedroom and bathroom. This is our first time doing such a large project, and after much careful research we narrowed it down to 3 construction companies. The reason we decided to choose AGA Construction was because their price was fair, they were patient and met with us many times and they seemed the most knowledgeable. Simon was our project manager, and he walked us through every step of the way, starting from the plans all the way to picking out the finish materials. He was very patient with us and gave us a lot of insider tips which really helped us out! The office staff is always available to answer your calls and questions promptly. We were always informed of the schedule for the upcoming week, and if there were any changes they made it a point to inform us beforehand. The work itself came out beautiful! The workers did such a great job, you can tell they really knew what they were doing. All inspections were passed with no issues and our house was left clean at the end of each day. To be honest, we were terrified going into this project, because we have friends who did construction on their homes and they shared their horror stories with us, but AGA really made this process smooth, painless and even somewhat enjoyable! We previously had a terrible experience with a contractor who did our patio. So, when it came to removing a load bearing wall we were pretty nervous about who we picked for the project. I'm very happy we went with AGA. They had the best quote and we felt they knew what they were doing, unlike salesmen from other places we got quotes from. We had a very tight deadline but they did everything they needed to in order for it to be completed on time. Workers even came on Saturday to finish up so I had extra time to get the house ready for family visiting. They quality of work is fantastic, Fransisco was great about cleaning up and making sure everything was done right. He spent extra time on the flooring since it wasn't an exact fit. He really did it proper even though it took extra hours to make it look seamless. They did a great job painting and it looks like the wall was never there, the house is so much more open. I own an older home and I have hired more than a few contractors to do various improvement projects over the years. You name it, I've done it. We had AGA remodel our kitchen and we're very happy with the result. We followed their design recommendation (knocking down part of a wall, removing soffits) and it turned a small space into a comfortably roomy kitchen. My greatest plaudit goes to the company's management team and crew of contractors. They always showed up when they were supposed to. Every evening, we would get a schedule for the next day. At the height of the work, a company representative showed up every morning to check on the pace of work. The company also helps with the selection of cabinets, flooring and counter. They'll meet you at a store and put in the order for you. The work took six weeks instead of the projected four weeks but some of the delay had to do with our decision to extend flooring into the laundry room and the demolition of old remodels that uncovered a 3-inch layer of concrete over the old linoleum and under the slate flooring. Proof that we like AGA: We're already planning to hire them to repaint our interior next year! read more

We absolutely love the work that AGA Construction did for us. We converted our much-too-small master bedroom bathroom and closet to a larger bathroom with steam shower and walk-in cedar wardrobe. We had very specific requirements for the project - we wanted AGA to employ products and methods that were healthy and environmentally conscientious. Home remodel work approximately April-September 2008. Work Summary: AGA performed extensive interior remodeling to the second floor of our house. It included removing one bath, deleting/adding some interior walls, deleting/adding some exterior windows, adding back one small bath, and adding back one large bath to produce a master bedroom/bathroom suite. They did demolition of the old layout, framing, plumbing, electrical, window installation, insulation, sheetrock, tile/stone, fixture installation, floor replacement, doorway/door replacement, and painting. Comments: Overall results were great. We are very happy in our new living space. The work started on time and proceeded very quickly. We did not avail ourselves of AGA's design services (we gave them plans and were very hands-on in the detailed planning and execution). I spent a lot of time in particular during the framing and rough-in work making sure things were going in the direction I wanted. Unless you have perfect, omnipotent plans there is much left to interpretation. Ariel and his crew were very easy to work with through all of this. Further, the quality of the work from most of his subcontractors ranged from good to outstanding. The extensive travertine and other tile work in the two bathrooms was second to none (the tile guy was a divinely inspired craftsman). As for conflicts and issues, it is always important to be very detailed and clear when entering into any contract, and our experience with Ariel and AGA was no different. That said, Ariel is an honorable man, and the large majority of his staff are conscientious and capable. All issues and misunderstandings were resolved to our satisfaction. read more
