First time here with the wife. Dropped her off at the front door because it was pouring rain. Upon my ingress into the business I dodge a Ranger IPA being thrown out the door with a lot of yelling. The wife was afraid to go inside when I walked up. Me. I just barged in to 3 ummm...gentlemen in a heated argument. Lots of racial epithets being thrown and I was greeted by the "general manager" wearing a tank top basketball shorts and sandals and the other gentlemen reeked of marijuana and alcohol. Ok. He assured me nothing was wrong and if I came back in 30 minutes they would have food. This is like promising me it's a Ferrari but it's a Fireo kit car. I was kind and thanked him and grabbed my wife and we promptly left to another establishment. Hope their food is as good as they say. I kept my composure. Damn near hit my wife with an open container... No. I will not come back nor I recommend anyone to this establishment. Had it just been myself I would have MAYBE stuck it out. My wife was damn near hit with an ejected IPA. First. No one does that to my wife. Second what a waste of a good beer. Rock solid 0 stars. Wings we ended up getting were fantastic. The got 5 tables inside, intimate dining, dark interior, and its bare bones. Looks like there is potential for outdoor seating also. The gyro meat had a lot of flavor, the chicken was decent. We also ordered the Philly fries, the fries were like fajita fries, the little ones were crunchier, and the bigger ones were not as crispy. Everything was made to order, if you think about it, halal food trucks usually are super busy, but it wouldn't make sense in this specific case because they are not super busy through the whole day, so they cook it to order so your meats wont be too try. they were out of mangos, so no mango lassi for me, I would definitely consider trying out more places in the area before returning. After a sports event at the Berry Center, my grandson and I wanted Mediterranean food and my pal Yelp found a really good one. The place was casual, modern, fresh and new looking. I had a Gyro wrap with Fries he had a Philly Cheesesteak wrap and Fries. We also ordered some Falafel to share. The gentleman serving us was very nice and extremely helpful. He made some suggestions and even gave us desserts; a Tiramisu and a wonderful slice of Pistachio Cheesecake. The White Sauce made in house was delicious, as was the Chili Sauce. The food came out quickly, hot and delicious. The food was delightful and we can't wait to visit again, perhaps on a Monday-Thursday 11am-3pm to take advantage of their advertised Lunch Specials. Don't waste your time and money. There is no excuse to mess up this badly on a Saturday night when you're not busy. There were no customers inside when I arrived. No action in the kitchen either. I get that you might not have everything that's advertised, but don't give me a regular coke when I paid for a Mexican coke. They aren't the same. No sauces? None? Your food needs white sauce and hot sauce. It's the whole reason people order your food. That's the flavor - the sauce... Goodness. I know things were slow for you tonight, but that's why you should concentrate on making the orders you DO have accurate. So that you aren't slow in the future. I know that this is probably a plug-and-play strip mall restaurant where the owner just wants to get what he/she can out of it for as long as it lasts, but this place is not going to get to break-even anytime soon. Could not get an order straight. Wound up super disappointed ... walked away without getting what I ordered or paid for. Can't say anything about the food as it was not what I ordered. When it was entered I questioned it and the manager came up and supposedly fixed the order but flashed the screens by so fast I could not confirm. Tried to order for two people and only got one order that was not even what either of us wanted. Food might be good but I will never know. I will not be back. Just ate at Agababa. It was so fresh and Tony the chef was so welcoming. The place is small but made up for some great flavors. We did have to wait a little bit since they're short staffed they just opened but if they get their service right they'll be a serious hitter in cypress. read more

I was reluctant at first - i usually don't try restaurant unless my husband tries them first - but I did and I am so glad. The food was absolutely delicious!! I had the Classic Gyro and my husband had the Falafel shawarma. The white sauce was very good, the meat was oh so tender and everything just tasted absolutely fresh - you can tell it was "cook to order". the Falafel was very tender and moist. We also ordered Chai Tea teapot and that as well was absolutely refreshing. They were kind enough to refreshen the tea and were very attentive to our dining needs.
