KFC has the worst fried chicken in Texas and this location is no exception. Ever since they got rid of their classic hot wings and replaced them with mediocre hot wings, KFC literally has no items left on their menu that are better than their competitors. And it's not just that there are so many other fried chicken fast food chains now that offer much tastier food; but the employees at KFC are always miserable which results in a don't-care attitude and quality issues. Twice a year I return to KFC to see if they've made any improvements that merit giving them another chance, but each time I return, I get undercooked chicken with serious quality and flavor issues. I have been eating at this restaurant for years and I usually order the same thing every time. I visit 1-2 times a week. th workers are very friendly and professional and productive but the manager for some reason was not very friendly last week when I ordered. I get my customary two piece chicken combo that I order from the mobile app. I accidentally hit the chicken combo with waffles that was snuck in the app and I asked the General manager if he went up on the price. I noticed it was not the same price as I always ordered. well when I realized it included waffles I said fine I will pay the higher price but can I get a breast and a thigh like I always get with my two piece chicken combo. He then said yes for an extra $1. well I said cancel that order and I will order what I always order without the waffles that I accidentally ordered. but the store location can not do a refund. so I called corporate customer service and they said they would cancel then I re ordered what I wanted. my concern is it should not have taken all this over one piece of chicken substitute by the general manager of all people. I was a general manager of KFC in the 1990's and ran several profitable million dollar stores. I was even selected to run one of the first delivery stores which had the base business and delivery drivers and phone operators etc. The general manager portrays his alleged veteran credentials and I over the years showed him my mil identification and asked if he gave veterans discount he said no and I was ok with that and have still continued to bu at his location and Kfc stores. In conclusion my gripe is I as a former general manager in the spirit of customer service would have just given the customer a piece of chicken substitute. Me and my boyfriend went in for a quick bite for the evening, after ya know a gym session. But its okay thats how we make gains. We wanted to try the new spicy chicken, I would say i give it a 3.-ish. It was fresh customer service was good, just downside was that there was not much spicy sauce in the sandwich. So my family and I decided to grab kfc for dinner and its not close to our house so to drive there means we really want it! But after tonight it will be a while before we eat from this location again! My sons tenders was undercooked and DRY just like the DRY biscuits we all had! Well well well, where do I even begin with this review of Kentucky Fried Chicken and their oh-so-tiny chicken wings that are 2 inches by 2 inches. As a chicken wing connoisseur, I must say that I am utterly disappointed and frankly, upset, at the size of these wings. At 2 inches by 2 inches, these wings are smaller than my pinky finger! I understand that KFC wants to keep their prices affordable, but come on, KFC! These wings are so small that they make me wonder if they were plucked from baby chickens. The chicken wings are so small; they should come with a magnifying glass instead of a napkin. I was quite upset when I saw the size of these wings. I mean, I'm not expecting a wing the size of a Thanksgiving turkey, but something a little more substantial would be nice. Now, for my humorous take on the matter. I must say that the 2x2 inch chicken wings made me upset. It's as if Kentucky Fried Chicken is trying to give customers the illusion that they are serving a large portion of chicken wings, when in reality, they are serving something closer to chicken ant wings. Speaking of ants, I'll provide analogies to help put the size of the chicken wings into perspective: 1. "If ants had a favorite fast-food chain, it would definitely be KFC. They could carry a whole bucket of chicken wings by themselves." 2. "I think I saw an ant bench-pressing a KFC chicken wing in the parking lot." 3. "Those ants are like tiny bodybuilders, flexing their muscles as they carry that KFC chicken wing." 4. "If ants had a gym, their favorite exercise would be the KFC chicken wing lift." 5. "Ants carrying a KFC chicken wing are like marathon runners carrying a baton." 6. "Those ants must have super strength to carry that KFC chicken wing. Maybe they're secretly superheroes." 8. Kentucky Fried Chicken's chicken wings are smaller than an ant's appetite. If you were to gather a group of ants and give them a single 2x2 inch chicken wing to share, they would probably turn up their antennae in disgust. But back to my review. I understand that KFC is known for their secret blend of herbs and spices, but come on! The size of those wings was just ridiculous. I felt like I needed to order a dozen just to get a decent amount of meat. In conclusion, if you're looking for a filling meal, I'd suggest looking elsewhere. I stopped here from a friend's recommendation. I have been to many KFC places but for some reason I was told their chicken always tastes fresh. The restaurant was very clean and there was only one other couple there when I visited. Well I went in and placed my order and when it as ready I picked it up from the counter and had a seat. I usually get the original and that's what I ordered. It really did taste fresher and perfectly fried. I guess I can't explain why other than it was my perception. I will probably always compare other places to this one as my experience was very good here. Its further than what I would like to drive but if I'm in this area I'm definitely coming back. read more

She was loud at the drive thru which made it not only funny cuz it shocked us lol but great cuz I could actually understand her. She made us laugh the whole time we were at the drive thru window. I live about 5 min from a KFC on 529 and it's terrible...you could wait 30min in the drive through and the food tastes old. THIS location however is amazing!! It's an additional 20min from my house but so worth the drive. The other KFC's in our area could definitely take some Notes from the Cypress location. The drive through has you in and out in minutes and never out of a certain kind of food. LOL my 529 location however is constantly out of chicken! Which is odd because they are never busy. Went through the drive thru and ordered a 10pc with corn, mashed potato and gravy. Got home and was missing 2 pieces of chicken and the gravy. Called kfc and a girl said come anytime this week to pick up a new order. When we called 2 days later to verify, the manager asked if we had a receipt and when we couldn't find it, he said there was nothing he could do. We found it a second later and he begins yelling and arguing bc we didn't know the original girls name we talked to. It was such a hassle I just asked to be refunded partially (not fully) for the missing chicken and gravy. He continued to yell, argue and say we needed to pick up our 2pcs of chicken and be on the way. Long story short I gave up and counted it as a loss as there's no way I would take food from someone with a disgusting attitude. Will never return to that location. Good customer service starts at the top and this place has a hands-on manager/owner. I don't go often but when I do, the manager/owner is there andvthe service is outstanding. The food is good; exactly as advertised. The workers have great attitudes and greet everyone who walks in the door. THIS KFC SUCKS! Today I went to this kfc with good intentions. I was ecstatic to try the new 6-piece buffalo chicken wings I've heard so much about and fries. For starters the lady taking my order sounded like freakin death Vader, but half asleep, but I don't understand why she was tired cause no one was in the freakin drive thru but me!!! We drove to the next window to pick up my order and I asked for extra sauces too She said it was going to cost extra, but I understood at the moment. It gets worse btw. When I asked for the "Finger Lickin Good Sauce", she looked at me up and down as if she had no idea what I was talking about!! How rude!!! When I finally got home to open my meal up to enjoy, I was greeted with NOT six, but FIVE Wings with ZERO of the buffalo sauce!!!!!. So not only did I have to pay extra for 4 measly sauces, but that cost ended up going to a wing I never received!!! I will NEVER GO BACK. I'm very grateful that Cypress has a clean and affordable restaurant. Read some of my other reviews and you will see my frustration with other places in this area. I didn't realize I would be such a KFC fan as I had not tried it since I was a small child. This location is both convenient and super clean (my test is always the dining area, countertops, and of course the bathrooms having soap and hot water). The chicken is always cooked to perfection and now days there are so many choices on the menu. The side items are good too. The prices are fair and the employees are always clean cut and friendly. I eat here about once a month. Highly recommended location, especially when you are on a budget and want something clean, fast, and delicious. read more

Definitely worth a visit. When I moved to Cypress 3 1/2 years ago this KFC was awful so I promised to never go back. Then it came under new management and it is now THE best KFC in the area. Always clean with quick service and happy courteous staff. The colorful flowers on the tables and festive Christmas decorations are a nice touch but not overwhelming.
