The only item that was great was the tandoori chicken. the curry didn't have the depth of flavor that I wanted that nice spiciness the tender chicken was great. The naan was good as well. If I would to go back I would only get the tandoori chicken and skip any of the other kind of entrées as I feel like I can get better curries and biryani's and other Indian dishes at other restaurants that have a more flavorful experience. read more

Excellent authentic Indian food ! The paneer Tikka masala was my favorite. The butter chicken was delicious as well. The chicken biryani was very flavorful and they included a delicious yogurt sauce. The portion for the biryani is shareable. The others are not, expect to order one of those per person. This place is very busy for take out, and there were a couple of families eating in. I went into Tandoori Hut for lunch, hoping that their buffet was open. It was not, but fortunately their lunch special was the main thing I was wanting: butter chicken! The special consisted of butter chicken, palak paneer, veggie pakora, curried veggies, naan, and rice. It was delicious! Another day, another Indian restaurant to try. This place was absolutely fantastic, I don't know how we didn't know about it until today! We ordered vegetable samosa, goat biryani, butter chicken, lamb korma, aloo naan, and Gobi Manchurian. The butter chicken was done perfectly the way it's supposed to be with dark meat tandoori chicken. The lamb korma was cooked perfectly in a thick fragrant sauce. The goat biryani was the most generous, not only in portion size, but the amount of goat meat in it. There was a juicy piece of goat right around each corner. We got a ras malai and a stuffed gulab jamun. The ras malai was creamy and delicious! Will definitely be back and spread the word about this gem! read more

Lunch today at our favorites Indian Restaurant. My husband had the Lamb Madras. Cooked to perfection. He orders it Medium Heat. He likes it spicy and this is just about right. I had the Lamb Vindaloo. Another delicious dish. The lamb chunks melted in your mouth. I ordered mine mild heat. Just the right amount of spicy flavor. These dishes come with Basmati Rice. We always order the whole Tandoori Chicken so we will have some to take home. Very moist with incredible flavor. We also always order the garlic Naan. One order to eat and one to take home. The owner is such a nice gracious man. He is the front of the house and also the server. I asked about Buffett coming back but he isn't sure when he will offer this again. Soon I hope. I had no idea this place was so close to where I live! I know Tandoori Hut as a chain and thought I would give this location a shot since it's so close. We love Indian food! I ordered the Butter Chicken mild spice and comes with white rice. Also ordered 2 orders of their Garlic Naan. AMAZING flavor! Everything was sooooo amazing. Delicious, flavorful, fresh and the cook came out to check on everyone to see how the food was. That's when you know they truly care and are willing to check on their guests. Stopped in for the lunch buffet. It's a small restaurant but they had a pretty good selection of items on the buffet. I liked everything that I tried. I came somewhat late, around 1:30pm on a Friday. Everything was still hot and fresh and well stocked on the buffet. $14 for the buffet and tea, not too bad. My favorite thing was the goat curry. It was so tender and very flavorful. The chicken tikka masala was flavorful and had a slight kick to it, which I love. The chicken was tender and juicy, with great taste. The staff is kind and attentive, and very accommodating. Best Indian food in the northwest side of houston. My husband likes it really Spicy while I ask for mild because I have the spice tolerance of a child. Either way it's great. I've also ordered to go and no matter the day or the way you enjoy it's always a hit for me. It's a must try if your in the area. Knowing very little about Indian food, my husband and I decided to try this new restaurant near us, from which we received a menu brochure. I selected Salmon Dill Tikka from their long menu, and was delighted with the two components, a very lightly seasoned rice with individual grains, and salmon cut into large chunks enveloped in yellow sauce containing flecks of dill. The surprise to me was how exquisite the combination of the salmon, rice, and sauce were! A truly heavenly combination of the three components bathed my taste buds.
