    Gasp!!! Beautiful cinnamon rolls.
    Kelly H.

So many treats here! Colorful cases of macaroons, pop-tarts, cupcakes, and more greet you upon entry, along with a tall fridge full of goodies by the door. Saturday 10 am, this is the place to be. We came for the cinnamon rolls, but know that even if you have a sweet tooth, never scrape the frosting off your roll, and love cinnamon rolls above all, don't underestimate those rolls. REALLY, half is plenty! Save the other half for tonight's dessert or tomorrow's breakfast. No idea if the cute espresso booth across the parking lot carries Agape's baked goods, but the staff here was pleasant enough with AM bakery traffic.

First of all, I'd like to point out that there are so many amazing confections and pastries at this Greek bakery. The case had way too many items to choose from and it was overwhelming in the best way possible. My dad and I tried to limit ourselves to one, but naturally that was impossible! It was breakfast time so we opted for a more... "dessert breakfast" vibe and got the blueberry cinnamon roll (only available on weekends) and the pop tart. The cinnamon roll was ooey and gooey, tart yet perfectly sweet, and soft and decadent. The pop tart was very full of filling and that is amazing because generally I feel like you miss out on the filling. We were told the dough is made in house and it is a version of a puff pastry. As we were leaving, the woman helping us gave us a singular baklava. It was probably the best baklava I've ever had and was so sweet and nutty. I would go back for a whole tin of these! I also appreciated the suggestions she gave because there was just so much to choose from. Advice is necessary for sure. She was also patient (we took at least ten minutes...). It is located in a cute plaza across from Tuckaway Tavern so if you're waiting for a table at the restaurant, check this place out! Their menu changes every week and they have fun themes (like when Wicked game out, they had Wicked themed cupcakes and macarons. I will be coming back when I visit my family back in NH!

I've been curious about this place for a while. An associate of mine got a Wicked cupcake assortment and shared. Not only were they gorgeous but they were absolutely delicious. Light moist and fluffy cake with a nicely sweetened frosting. I need to go in myself! They have so much more!!

Love this place! Our go to for special family celebrations. Thank you, Adape! I do wish you made petit fours. ;)

I included pictures of everything but as of writing the review have only (been there many times before) but have only eaten the PUC and that chocolate mousse "parfait". It's ALL SO GOOD. I wanna make this particular review about this pineapple upside down cake though. It's one of my favorite desserts and I've loved it for years. TCF's P.U.C is PHENOMENAL. It's got this delicious, dense cake that sort of crumbles under your fork, it has almost a biscuity character to it. I'm only trying to make it sound better with that description. It's moist, dense, perfect. I've had PUC where it is more of a sponge cake cake, but there's is on another level. The toppings of pineapple and cherries were equally good and the cake had an amazing caramely character to it. Also not sure if sweet/condensed milk is in the recipe, but I thought I tasted a little in the cake. It was subtle as if they poured a little on the bottom of the box before placing my cake into it. The bottom was perfectly cooked and I got a lot of caramel notes throughout the cake. It had been sitting in the box just long enough to soak up all that delicious moistness, but not so long it lost its crumble or edges. Totally bomb. Totally recommend it! I also want to mention the women that work there are our absolute favorites. We have met 3 or 4 and they are all just entirely pleasant, sweet ladies who always have an engaging story. Very nice people working hard here. I really love this place.

After hearing so many wonderful things about Jacque's Pastry Shop in Suncook, NH and enjoying…read moreseveral of their cakes we confidently ordered a gluten-free wedding cake for our son's wedding. Based on Jacque's reputation and our experience with their cakes we did not visit the shop to taste their gluten-free offerings. The cake was nicely decorated. Unfortunately, it was one of the the biggest disappointments of an otherwise beautiful day. The cake was EXTREMELY dry, to the point of staleness. Our guests took a bite and pushed it aside. Several members of our family remarked that it was very dry. We understand that gluten-free baking can be challenging, but we've had many excellent gluten-free cakes elsewhere. Given Jacque's reputation and the premium price we paid, we expected a much higher-quality product. The customer service afterward was even more disappointing. I contacted the bakery and spoke to Jacque directly, twice. I requested at least a 50% refund or a credit for a non gluten free cake, believing either of these options was a fair resolution. Jacque responded by raising his voice and saying "absolutely not, it's not my fault". Then added "I just had surgery". My response was, "you are the business owner, so yes, it is your fault." Jacque stated that they buy a mix from a manufacturer that he did not name. I was shocked by both his response and lack of empathy for such an important occasion. I have never left a negative review for any business but couples deserve to know what our experience with gluten free was like. We trusted Jacque's with an important part of our son's wedding, and both the cake and the way our concerns were handled fell far short of our expectation.
