My wife and I LOVE this place. We have had their cookies, coffee cake, brownies, strawberry pastries, Carmel apple bar, Oreo bar (both pictured)....for my birthday tonight we got my favorite...pineapple upside down cake. I included pictures of everything but as of writing the review have only (been there many times before) but have only eaten the PUC and that chocolate mousse "parfait". It's ALL SO GOOD. I wanna make this particular review about this pineapple upside down cake though. It's one of my favorite desserts and I've loved it for years. TCF's P.U.C is PHENOMENAL. It's got this delicious, dense cake that sort of crumbles under your fork, it has almost a biscuity character to it. I'm only trying to make it sound better with that description. It's moist, dense, perfect. I've had PUC where it is more of a sponge cake cake, but there's is on another level. The toppings of pineapple and cherries were equally good and the cake had an amazing caramely character to it. Also not sure if sweet/condensed milk is in the recipe, but I thought I tasted a little in the cake. It was subtle as if they poured a little on the bottom of the box before placing my cake into it. The bottom was perfectly cooked and I got a lot of caramel notes throughout the cake. It had been sitting in the box just long enough to soak up all that delicious moistness, but not so long it lost its crumble or edges. Totally bomb. Totally recommend it! I also want to mention the women that work there are our absolute favorites. We have met 3 or 4 and they are all just entirely pleasant, sweet ladies who always have an engaging story. We special ordered a Boston Cream Pie (cake) for our daughter's 33rd birthday. It was 3 tiers of luscious cake filled with Lisa's creamy filling. (Lisa makes the BEST eclairs and they are topped with rich chocolate ganache). The ganache topped the Boston Cream Pie, and thin swirls of whipped cream were piped over the top and sides of the cake. Everyone RAVED about how good the cake was. It was a 5" cake but due to the height and richness, we were very satisfied. read more

Best cheesecakes HANDS DOWN. I can no longer eat cheesecake from the store anymore, it's so depressing tasting once you've had their cheesecake. Depression cakes, if you will. The Cake Fairy's cheese part is soo rich and creamy, definitely highest quality you can get. Their perfect crumbly bottom I'm sure is a top secret recipe because it's like none I've ever had- perfect amount of crumble and buttery flavor. Their super special Espresso cheesecake (they only make once in a great while they said) was soo good I almost cried. I did laugh and tear up a little though, first bite caught me off guard how good it was. Lol true story. I told my husband how disgusting it is that it tastes *that* good and he said maybe don't put that in the review but I am anyway. Kind of criminal to be making such perfect cheesecake if you ask me, but who am I to judge? I am not the dessert police. I am a huge coffee snob and this cheesecake went way over and above what I had pictured in my mind beforehand as far as taste. They did more than just nail the espresso flavor. I now need this flavor in liquid form for my morning cup. They also have seasonal flavored cheesecakes- their pumpkin and their apple ones in the fall are amazing! Their strawberry one tastes like super fresh, just-picked berries in a (jam? Preserve?) topping. I highly recommend following this mom & daughter duo on their Facebook page called The Cake Fairy because they always post the super special menu items on there! I call to reserve mine because they go quick- especially their cannoli's (which is my husband's favorite.) During holidays they take pre-orders for pies and such too. Highly recommend for showing up to guests' houses with or for hosting. Nothing says I love you like like showing up with these superior deserts. (Store bought if you despise your in-laws I guess. Or kill them with kindness and get The Cake Fairy ones.) They are super nice people too & really appreciate their customers which is a huge bonus. Definitely give this bakery a try!!! I will first start by saying I was not a sweets person until 3 years ago. Cake Fairy did cupcakes for our wedding and I was hooked immediately. If you're feeling something different that they don't normally make, give them a call or a Facebook message and if it's within their means, they will make it for you no questions asked. I cannot recommend this bakery enough. Also, go for the whoopie pies if they are ever in stock, because they rarely are just because they sell out immediately. The cupcakes are fantastic as well. One of Lisa's signatures is she puts a ball of cream cheese under the filling and that will blow you away on every bite! Not only are Lisa and Brianna some of the sweetest people I've ever met, but they make the most delicious treats I have ever had, and it's not even a competion in my eyes. There is a reason they won Best Bakery in NH this year, they've earned it. read more

I can't say enough about their lemon squares, cheesecake, and cupcakes! OMG!!! I totally recommend the Maple cupcakes, and the Mocha cupcakes! There are so many other sweets to choose from, but these are my favorites so far. It's a mother daughter team that owns and runs this wonderful place, and they are two magical people! I had spotted the store last week, but was one of the day's they're closed. I was in the area today & stopped in to see what they had to offer. Although it didn't appear to be a lot to choose from in the case, I did get one of the brownies & a chocolate/butterscotch chip cookie to try out. I have visited this bakery twice the first time I purchased pastry and it was very good. While I was there I was told by the baker that their cinnamon buns were wonderful and I love cinnamon buns. I ordered 4 to be picked up and they are not very good they are dry and not like any cinnamon bun I ever had not sweet or sticky. I did contact them and they said they are well received by their customers. So if you order this item please note they are traditional cinnamon roll not what you may be looking for. read more

The Cake Fairy is a sweet heaven! It has been my go to bakery for almost 2 years now. They have everything from cakes, to cupcakes, to whoopie pies, and I have never been disappointed with their product! The whoopie pies (especially) are to die for, and the canolies are out of this world. Brianna and Lisa are excellent, and were very polite when helping me place any orders. Have used the Cake Fairy for a few past events only for cupcakes, I was recently asked to order the cake for a family wedding event, less than a weeks notice. The staff not only accommodated our last minute needs, but designed the cake (beautiful design of the cake topper and colors). They even let us borrow their cake stand! The cake was delicious, many wedding guests mentioned it was the best cake they had ever had - the fudge filling tasted like a fudge brownie.
