She told me a child needs to bite five consecutive days to be even considered for suspension. Come to find out that the aggressor was affiliated with the school and there were other undocumented aggressive behaviors. The principal straight up lied and had inept responses to my concerns. They now have a Type B citation, "a violation that, if not corrected, may an immediate risk to the health, safety or personal rights of clients" from the Department of Social Services. As a former childcare provider myself--at another Nobel Learning Communities school no less--it was extremely disappointing to see the incompetent leadership fail the amazing teachers and rupture family relationship on the ground. Oh and good luck at the next open house, because we waited since the night before at the advice of the principal and somehow they managed to be as disorganized as possible when they arrived in the morning and forced people to take a photo alongside those who got waitlisted?? Like what?? The sudden surge of 5 star reviews from burner accounts is also telling of their priorities.

While we are very grateful for my mother's help, we noticed our daughter was having too much screen time. That's when we decided to enroll her in preschool so she could socialize with other children and adults. She currently attends three days a week (Monday, Wednesday, and Friday). I was very apprehensive at first. My daughter cried a lot in the beginning, and leaving her each morning filled me with guilt. I found myself constantly second-guessing our decision--were we starting too early? Should we wait another year? During the school orientation, we heard from other parents whose children had similar struggles adjusting at first, but eventually settled into their new routine within about a month. I was still skeptical. There were days when I wanted to quit, but we pushed through those first four weeks--and I'm so glad we did. Eventually, my daughter stopped crying during the drive to school and at drop-off. I can confidently say that the love and care from her four teachers made all the difference in her transition. Ms. Sasmita, Ms. Anitha, Ms. Van, and Ms. Kathy are incredibly patient, kind, and nurturing. They truly care for my daughter as if she were their own. One example that stands out is how they handle her comfort items--her milk bottle and her blanket. Instead of forcing her to give them up, they gently encourage her and thoughtfully support her transition during school time. To me, this is going above and beyond. I worked in childcare for six years at a well-known nonprofit organization, starting as a teacher's aide, then becoming a teacher, and eventually a center director. Because of this, I feel I have a strong basis for comparison--and I can say that the Montessori approach here is truly exceptional. What I appreciate most are the practical life skills being taught. My daughter comes home excited to show us how she can match socks, fold clothes, and even sweep with a dustpan. She has always been independent (she's an Aries, after all!), but I've noticed that now she actively wants to participate in everyday tasks because she's practicing what she learns at school. Please do not misrepresent the circumstances or suggest that VOM made efforts to resolve the situation when there is no record of those attempts. +++++ Service Requested I scheduled a tour of the facility to consider for preschool enrollment on Wednesday, August 5, 2026, at 4:00 p.m. When I arrived, the door was locked. I rang the doorbell twice and received no response. I then proceeded and called the phone number posted on the front door, 408-539-1222. The employee asked which location I was visiting, and I confirmed the San Felipe location. I was told they would contact someone to open the door. After waiting an additional 10 minutes, I knocked on the door again and still received no response. Quality The lack of communication and assistance made this a very disappointing experience, especially for a scheduled school tour. Value Based on today's experience and the level of inadequate customer service provided, I will not be considering this school for school enrollment.

I initially enrolled my older son (now in kinder) at SFOA to help with socialization skills and getting him exposed to other children, however, he learned much more, and his preparation for kindergarten has been amazing. He went to the preschool for 3 summers and 2 academic years and loved the preschool so much, he didn't want to leave, and it took some time to transition to kindergarten. Before enrolling my son in kinder, I reviewed the list of concepts he would be learning in kinder, and it was great to see that SFOA had already covered a LOT of them. His current kinder teacher was also quite surprised that he knew as much as he did when she gave him a kindergarten-readiness test, which included some reading assessment. The children learn letters, numbers, phonics, vowels, simple math, sight words, basic prayers, and the pledge of allegiance. They also learn motor skills like coloring in the lines, cutting, and gluing, and the activities are themed be season or using biblical stories, such as Noah's Ark, Joseph and the Technicolor Coat, and God's creation. My younger son is in his second academic year and has also done two summer sessions. He is not as interested in learning, but his growth over the past few years has been astounding. He now spews out phonics and other concepts easily that we had been working hard to teach him at home. Ms. Rochelle and Ms. Tina are great teachers and work very hard to integrate kinder-ready and faith-based curriculum into the school year. They do not "babysit" the children. Each day, there is time for circle time for learning concepts and listening to stories, time for group potty breaks, snack time, and play time, which is also very important for a child's development. Overall, I highly recommend the preschool if you are looking for a supportive teaching environment for your children where they will learn about the faith in a fun way and be well prepared for entering kindergarten.

My daughter is in the afternoon class and there has only been 4 kids up until this week when they added a 5th. There are 3 teachers. Rochelle Leggit is the director of the preschool program and will sometimes take a spot in the classroom. Then There's Miss Maya and Miss Stella who are pretty much the regular teachers. Finally there's Miss Raquel the music teacher. Not a bad teacher to kid ratio. In my daughters class that's 1 to 1. Now if you read my review of the other preschool you'll see my daughter wasn't exactly 100% up to speed with the other children her age. The teachers here have been EXTREMELY patient with her, and treat her with nothing but love, kindness and praise. It makes my eyes well up with tears just thinking about how wonderful they've been, a godsend, an answer to my prayers. Rochelle, Stella, Maya and Raquel if you're reading this, I love you for what you've done for Elise. God bless you, I think us coming to you was a part of his plan for my little girl. The school's director Teacher Karen was amazing. Every interaction she had with us or our toddler showed that she cared tremendously for the children. Suggestions were always welcome. We could reach out to her at anytime. I wonder if she has spoiled it for us at future schools. Time will tell. The other teachers were also amazing. Teacher Des, Queenie, Qiao, Sam, Aliaa, Stone, Tina and Hope looked after our toddler at various times during school days. Our toddler misses them now that school is temporarily closed. Unfortunately, our toddler will age out by the time school reopens.

Their free lunch is the cheapest lunch from the outside home kitchen which likely is not regulated by the city safety guidance. One of the fun thing that teachers like to do is to label those kids who are not their favorites, such as trouble maker, and they judge kids from divorce/separating families and talk behind.
