We were referred here by a friend as his son was attending the school. We contact Ms. Jenny for a…read morevisit and she gladly scheduled it with me. We took our 2 years old son with us on the visit as we wanted to include him in the process and help make the transition to school smoother for him. The school is part of a church but the preschool curriculum does not appear to be focus on religion. We started with a p/t schedule for about 1.5 months then transition him to f/t. I would say it took him about 2 months to fully transition. However, I did not have any worries as Ms. Jenny and the other teachers/paraprofessionals are very kind, friendly, supportive and knowledgeable of child development. I like that they did not pressure my son with potty training him but encourages him daily to use the toilet. They understand that every child's development is different and that my son is ready when he is. He eventually sat on the toilet but did not do his business and everything clicked when he turned 3 as he is now potty trained. :) Now that my son is used to preschool, he is excited to go to school every day and happy to share with me his classwork/artwork whenever I pick him up. He leaves the school smiling and saying bye to all his friends and teachers. Further, he is always singing songs and talking about things he has learn from school. I am so glad that he is having such a positive experience here and I know that he will definitely be ready for Kindergarten when the time comes. While I did encounter some truly wonderful staff members who embody the qualities one hopes to find in a daycare, this was unfortunately not the case with all staff members. I personally witnessed an incident where a teacher handled a child aggressively, raising their voice and physically forcing the child to sit down during circle time, despite the child's visible distress and reluctance to participate. The final straw for me was receiving an incident report that did not align with the bruises my child showed up with, along with other concerning bruises that went unreported. Additionally, my child shared distressing details about their teacher's behavior. When I raised these issues with the director, Tammy, I found their response to be negligent, as they failed to investigate further. Instead, they placed blame on my child for being rough during outdoor play, even though the incident "coincidentally" happened in a camera-free area. This experience led me to the decision to remove my child from the daycare. I understand that other families may have different experiences, but the way these serious situations were managed was enough for me to feel that we could not stay.

I also personally witnessed Miss Jackie raising her voice at the babies on several occasions. Communication with parents felt inconsistent, which made it difficult to feel confident about what was happening throughout the day. As a parent, trust is everything, and unfortunately, I did not feel at ease leaving my child here. I strongly encourage other parents to ask detailed questions, observe closely, and trust their instincts when choosing care for their children.
