I just ordered a chicka-chicka boom boom with 2 sides of beans because I hate their rice. I get there when my order is supposed to be ready only to have to wait an additional 25 min. I finally get my order and arrive home only to find that somehow my order is cold and I don't have any beans. Instead I have two orders of cold rice and a two cold enchiladas. What a waste. It was so cold that the boom-boom sauce was hard so no idea why I waited so long for a cold order. It tasted so awful I ended up trashing it and ordering from Tula. We went to the one in Fayetteville Arkansas. The service was very efficient and friendly. She made it fun. The manager came by the table because she told him we were from out of town and it was our first time in Chuys. It was just a nice experience. I got a chili relleno and veggie quesadilla. Hubs got beef enchiladas. Everything was good. Friends went with us. They had been to Chuys in Texas and were disappointed that charro beans were not available. Best chili relleno EVER! And the server brought us some creamy jalapeno sauce. Just omg! It cut the heat of the chili relleno and just gave it more depth! Chips were very good. I literally had the worst experience of my life here. The first time I went it was great, then I visited again and it honestly traumatized me. The food and drinks were the same as they always are but the waitress that we had felt the need to tell us exactly how many calories were in each thing we ate. She used an extremely judgemental tone while doing so. Obviously, this ruined my night. Me and my friends left and I realized I had left my purse inside, so I went back to get it but they had closed. So I knocked on the door and they had seen me at this point and knew exactly what I forgot inside. The waitress took my purse and gave it to the bartender and she looked through my whole purse. She even went as far as trying on the lipgloss inside. Obviously, this made me extremley frustrated as they were mocking me while I was waiting outside. Eventually, the manager pretended to finally notice me after my friends had called the front desk. He apologized and acted as if he wasnt watching the whole entire thing. I love Chuy's the food and ambiance is amazing but the rude staff ruined it for me. We got in on their third day open! It was busy but not crazy at lunch time. The new place is smaller than Rogers. It was comfortable seating. Pretty loud but as I said it was busy. I wanted to focus on dessert in this review, specifically Chuy's tres leches cake. In a word: wowser! It may not be strictly traditional as you'd find in a local Mexican bakery, but boy is it delicious. The serving is huge, it's floating in cream plus the three milks that go into it make it so luscious; it's topped with what I think is a sugar brûlée. Husband and I had the Tex Mex bowls with chicken which was very good! We could have easily shared 1 bowl between the two of us. Some day we'll learn that lesson. Queso and chips were very good and the variety of sauces were also great! The margarita on the rocks was "ok" I think frozen would have been better. Service was great! We got our meals to go. I've been to the location in rogers several times and was always happy, but this is not close in comparison. The "salsa" is literally just Pico de Gallo scooped into a bowl with an ice cream scooper. Since neither my daughter or I like Pico, we got the queso. It was good but contained an entire tomato or pepper stem in the bottom so we were pretty much done at that point. My daughter got the fajita steak burrito. It was literally just a bean burrito with a dozen or so dime sized pieces of chewy, flaverless steak. I got the fajita chicken soft tacos which contained the driest bland chicken I have ever seen at a restaurant. Luckily we were given a complimentary bowl of the jalapeño ranch so that at least gave it some flavor. The refried beans were crusty and tasted sour and just "off." The rice was dry and flavorless. For starters, my husband and I both got sweet tea. Ended up having to send them back because there were dead flies in our drinks Honestly the food just was not good to me at all. Everything was very dry and over priced for the quality and amount you are given. We shared the combo fajitas for 2 and they gave us literally the same amount you get in a regular size just with double the rice . Our bill came out to over $60 for the combo fajita, a children's cheeseburger and two teas. You can get the same thing plus queso and possibly even another entree at Mexico Viejo (bigger portions and better quality of course) for less than $30. Our server was pretty rude, didn't smile, slammed things down on the table, etc. and didn't refill our drinks or come check on us at all. We ended up having to stop another waitress to get us refills. Overall I was just extremely disappointed. Everyone had hyped the place up just for it to turn out way over priced and terrible service. Not to mention being served drinks with flies in them that's a healthcode violation. Makes me not even want to know what the rest of that kitchen potentially looks like. read more

The Fayetteville Chuy's is not as good as the one in Rogers. In Rogers they have a booth where a person is making fresh flour tortillas all day long. I got soft tacos with chicken fajita meat and the tortillas were the same as anyone buys at the grocery store and not the fresh soft ones that they have in Rogers. There were only 3 small strips of dried out chicken in each of the 2 tacos made with dried out tortillas. ; ( They gave huge portions of rice and beans on the plate. Their house salsa, that comes with very crisp and fresh chips, was so hot it made us choke. There was no warning that it would be HOT and no milder alternative was available. Our server was a woman who was either having a bad day or is just in the wrong job. No smile or friendliness at all. The last time we ate at the Chuy's in Rogers they had the music so loud that we had to shout to place our order. They had the music at a lower level yesterday so I will give them credit for that. Most Mexican restaurants have a lunch menu with smaller portions and cheaper prices. Chuy's has no lunch menu and you pay dearly for the food that is heavy on beans and rice and short on the meat. read more

We came in on a Friday night and it was packed. It took a very long time to get a party of 7 seated, but it was also understandable considering the size of the restaurant and the amount of people. When we got seated the GM came over and gave us a few free appetizers for being patient, and the service was unmatched. Also, the insight from my old lady is that the margaritas are great.
