How's it going SoCal, I very rarely leave reviews, much less poor ones, but I'm here with sources and times for a terrible pricing experience! I walked in with some GD04 alt arts on May 4th, at 3PM , with the set having been released on April 24th, giving singles ample time to build a selling history and stabililize. I also had a few older alt arts that have stabilized a long time ago. I had the following cards: EXRP-011, EXRP 005 , GD01-0065 LR+, GD04-068 R+, GD04-102 U+, GD04-34 LR+, GD04 002 LR+, and GD04-066 LR+ Now going off of TcgPlayer (the industry standard) , lowest verified pricing, which is significantly lower than market price or last sold, my cards are valued at $260 dollars. I was offered 100 dollars, or 110 store credit , so 38% cash, or 42% store credit , absolutely abysmal and scammer behavior. Now I would like to give them the benefit of the doubt , and offer them a chance to make things right by offering 170 dollars cash, which is 65% of the value, a very fair price Otherwise this review with sources, times, pricing accurate to the day, will be a good warning to others, and I will continue to spread the word in numerous groups about their pricing and willingness to lowball! It is very important to note that the business owner was present ! What's up card collectors. I went into this shop yesterday afternoon because a friend of mine had been dropping by frequently for some yugioh cards. I was informed about the Yugioh card selection that they had, a couple of binders to go thru. Some fusion binders, some pendulum stuff and even some magic and trap card binders. My homie was just here Thursday evening so I thought I would come check it out Friday evening. When I pulled up to the shop I saw some people plying cards. Seemed like a cool place. No one to attend behind the counter. One of the guys from the tables came over to assist me. I mentioned that I was here for some yugioh cards that I was looking for some fusions or some yubel stuff. The long haired guy pointed at a glass shelf in the corner and said that was all the yugioh they had. I asked if they had any binders or single cards I can go through and the guy told me they had one binder and just what's in the corner glass shelf's. I went thru the binder and it wasn't really what I was looking for. My friend had mentioned to me they had like three red binders and some binders filled w magic and trap cards. The guy only showed me one binder w a couple holos in it. Jacks night and kings nights and etc. nothing I was looking for. I asked again if they had any fusion or synchro or magic card binders. The guy just kept pushing that one red binder on me and the glass shelf. Honestly the experience felt pretty bad, the guy wasn't helping me at all. It seemed like he might have just wanted to get back to his buddies playing cards in the shop. I decided to spend a couple bucks on what they had because I did drive down from south gate and it was pretty far to just come take a look. The dude just priced every individual card for like two bucks w some exceptions of a Kashtira costing me about five bucks. I was pretty bummed out that my homie had told me they had bunch of yugioh cards and binders and the guy helping only brought out one binder to show me. When I got home and checked what I had got on TCG for prices I was even more bummed out to find out that I pad $15 for $11 worth of cards I was sold a destiny hero dasher for $1 valued at 0.17 cents The speed duel dasher is worth 0.07 cents and still cost $1 The infinite inperms I bought for $2 each were worth 0.69cents. The kashtira he sold me for $5 bucks valued at $1.49 The bystial baldrake for $2 on TCG for 0.95 My diabelstar was $2 when valued at 0.75 cents on TCG My experience was not good. Just felt like the guy w long hair didn't want to help or didn't want to show me any good yugioh cards. And when it came to what I had decided on purchasing it felt like he just lazily priced me to get me out the store and I overpaid for that experience. Overall a pretty bad experience visiting this shop. I don't know what is worse, over paying for cards or being lied to about cards from the card shop. read more

I'm always able to find things for my personal collection and they give me good deals. I always make sure to bring cash too. Felt cold and unwelcoming. Walked in and was standing at the front desk for a few minutes while the two people at the desk wouldn't stop talking about some anime or something. I asked if they had singles to buy or trade and the guy seemed bothered, gave me the worst binder I've ever seen and went back to pretending I wasn't there. There was maybe 15-20 cards all worth less than a dollar. I asked what all the people in the store were there for and he said "there's and event today" obviously I have eyes. I glanced at saw it was mtg which is what I was interested in, but I'm never coming back with that service. read more

Really organized and friendly shop! I played in a Gundam event there, and the vibes of the shop were great and they had a wide selection of TCGs and figures. Will definitely be back for more events! Even though it's far from me, it's worth the drive. read more

The price gouging done by this shop during the first set of Lorcana release was ridiculous. I'd say spend your money elsewhere. Other shops were marking up, but not to the degree of this shop. Took me a while to write this review because I didn't recall the name. read more

Good shop, people are enjoyable. They deal in yugioh, pokemon, occasionally one piece and some Disney lorcana when both games are available. As for an above negative review. The player seems to be the type who only tries attending special events. He attended the release of set 3 of one piece, proclaimed how much he missed the shop, how much fun it was and how he is going to attend more at the shop. Never saw him again, this coming from a regular that attended 95% of tournaments. He reappeared during the prerelease of set 4 of one piece, again a special event. He couldn't get an event spot due to regulars signing up before him and the large line awaiting for any no shows. He didn't get in. Vanishes again for a long time until another special event, think it was store championship or something. He would constantly ask for a spot despite the limited numbers being filled and event delayed due to bandai namco's inability to send out items on time. Then again he goes quiet, only reappearing to try getting into a buddy battle special event. He was told like always regulars get priority. He claimed to be a regular. Multiple regulars informed him he wasn't since he is never seen. He proceeds to spaz out. And now we are here. He joined a discord and never posts except to try selling things at high prices and ask for special event spots. Then when informed why he isn't getting priority in small events plays the victim card. read more

The best shop and people. The owner Alex is really kind and friendly always remembers a face and really easy to talk to. The manager Ricky is super helpful with finding figures or letting me know when something will be in stock. The employees are super helpful with me coming back to play card games with their knowledge and tips. It's a really positive atmosphere and the people there are friendly and welcoming to new people. My girlfriend and I were driving down the area looking for thrift shops, and I came across this place. I've been casually into collecting Pokemon cards and buying the occasional trainer box, graded card, or booster pack. I'm glad I stopped by. The selection is great and the service is awesome. The prices are decent, and reasonable compared to the normal comic book shop. There's also a good size of individual cards if you're looking for a certain full art or V-max. Went to get multiple cards graded here waited 5 months never received the cards or refund so made a police report when the went to tell owner the story he said he knew nothing because his employee stole them but all business was done in his shop with a receipt so I finally got my cards about a month ago but no refund this shop is a joke I already told all my pokemon family dont do business here sad read more

Very awesome little shop and it just opened recently too! They have a great selection of stock for Pokémon cards, Digimon cards, and Magic the Gathering cards. Additionally, they also have a hefty amount of accessories for cards such as play-mats and sleeves. This shop also has a good variety of toys too, with more to come. I have been a loyal customer to the Ageless Geeks fam for years now. I have been shopping with them ever since they had the smallest itty bitty slot in Frank and Sons and have been happy to watch them grow and expand into the company they are today. I often message the owner directly for certain figures or questions and he always gets back to me with a quick response and great prices. If he doesn't have the figure on hand he does what he can to help me find what I am looking for. This shop is fantastic. Anything you could ask for is right here at this shop. You don't need to go to Frank and Sons, although they have a booth there, they carry almost everything here as well. They carry collectables of all sorts! Imported action figures like Mafex, Figuarts, Figma and Nendoroids. They also carry figures from the USA such as Marvel Legends, McFarlane, MEZCO and Playmates. They carry figures at extremely competitive prices. There is no reason for me to go online or to Amazon. They also carry preowned or opened figures at discounted prices. Anything collectable they seem to carry. They also have a wide selection of TCG brands, Pokemon, One Piece, Dragonball and others. They sell singles, packs and booster boxes. They usually have tournaments during the week. I've been to Ageless Cards many times and love the people there. They are nice, welcoming and very helpful. You can always ask them for something you don't see displayed and they will usually have it. They also carry a lot of retro video games and consoles. The good games too, not the bargain bin stuff. I saw some heat there for the PS1 and PS2. They also have consoles for sale, 3ds, PS4, PS2 etc. Alex is easy going and helpful. Even if you don't live nearby, take the trip! Afterwards you can get some Fosters Freeze ice cream that's 5 minutes away. read more

Aside from the lack of Pokémon singles and packs outside recent year. My girlfriend was harassed inside the store from a patron yelling comments about her body. 10 ft from the employees. That along with the very uninviting atmosphere made for a short stay. This seems like the place where the stigmatized TCG players go not to spend money or play the game. But to sit and watch anime and fiddle with their Vs in their binder. A genuine lack of care on the employees behalf for their customers and product. Makes perfect sense why business was slow.
