After a year of trying to get my Aventon Sinch repaired at E-bike shops in Mansfield and Farmers…read moreBranch with no luck or hope, only months of broken promises and aggravation, I found E-Bike Central had opened in Temple. A phone conversation with the owner renewed hope my Sinch might live again. Within minutes of bringing my bike in the door it was surrounded by all four employees diagnosing the problem each of the aforementioned e-bike shops couldn't in months of trying. Within 15 minutes the E-Bike Central team had my Sinch running like new! I won't mention how little they would accept for resurrecting my bike, other than to say I had to resort to tipping each employee $20 to keep my self-respect intact. By the way, E-Bike Central's showroom is like AN E-BIKE WONDERLAND, with dozens of cool models I never knew existed despite hours of e-bike shopping all over cyberspace. These guys are not just golden, but actually renewed my confidence that excellent business-people still exist; they're just few and far between. Suffice to say my 200 mile round-trip to E-Bike Central in Temple was well worth it. I can't thank these guys enough for saving my Sinch that two other e-bike shops FAILED MISERABLY to accomplish, despite $150 out of my pocket, and hundreds of miles in multiple round-trips to the D/FW metroplex.

My brakes were a bit old and he did what he could to ramp them up.. however we couldn't get them to the right sweet spot. When I showed up Geoff was super attentive and eager to help out. I asked what the chances were for a Sunday ride. He said man, we can try but it's honestly going to be Tuesday. Bummer as the weekend was beautiful and I wanted to ride. He was professional and remember in high school when folks would write "stay cool" in your yearbook? He remained cool. Fun to talk to and shoot the breeze with. So Saturday came upon us and I called to see if there was an update. Sadly Alec was swamped and was given the news that probably Tuesday. No worries, I destroyed my legs at the gym because surely there was no way they would call Saturday afternoon, right? Wrong. Called around 3 and said "Alec is a beast, your bike will be ready by 5". Drove my happy ass up there and grabbed my purple Norco and couldn't have been happier. Shot the breeze with them for a bit, Alec is also a cool dude who was great to visit with. The bike? Seriously looked brand new. Clean, indexed perfectly and rides like a damn dream. If you need a new bike, or repairs go see my peeps over there.

EaDo Bike Co has become my local bike shop for any repairs or tuneups that my bike needs. All of…read morethe staff have always been friendly and it has never been too busy on my visits here. Note that they are closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays weekly. They don't have their own parking and there are limited spots on the street. I guess that's the point, right? Come via bike and bring your bike in so that you can get it taken care of and maybe some additional accessories for it. On my latest visit, I got the Basic tune-up package ($85) and an overhaul on the wheel hub ($35) because they noticed excessive noise on the spoke when I came in with my bike. While this does seem on the pricey side and they have other tune-up packages that are more expensive, I trust their workmanship and can walk out knowing that my bike is in the best shape and has had a comprehensive safety check. My service had about a 3-day turnaround time. I brought it in on a Thursday and they notified me on Sunday that it was complete. Do take into account that if you bring your bike in on a Sunday or Monday, this turnaround may be a little longer because of their closed days. When I received my bike, it felt good as new again and I was excited to be back on the road with it. I totally recommend EaDo Bike Co for your bike service needs. They do have bikes and accessories for sale as well. I was looking for a light to use for night riding, but the ones here were a little pricey (set for ~$150), so I opted to do some research and purchase on Amazon instead.

When we walked in, there was no one at the front, and we weren't greeted. We spent several minutes looking around without anyone acknowledging us. I pulled one bike out of the rack simply to sit on it and see if it was the right size. At that point, an employee immediately approached me and said, "I don't want anyone pulling bikes out and sitting on them." There were no signs indicating that customers should not do this, and no one had spoken to us beforehand. I'm a 53-year-old professional, and I expect to be treated with courtesy and respect. The way I was approached made me feel like I was a teenager causing problems in the store, when all I was trying to do was determine whether the bike fit me. First impressions matter. Instead of feeling welcomed as a potential customer, I felt reprimanded. A much better approach would have been to greet us when we came in, ask if we needed assistance, and politely explain your policy if customers aren't permitted to remove bikes from the rack themselves. UPDATE (08/01/2026): Don't waste your time visiting this place. Customer Service is horrible. We bought 2 e-bikes from Planetary Cycles this weekend. Go check them out! Your loss Eado Bike Co.! When you treat customers with respect, this is how you get rewarded.
