TERRIBLE. I signed up to one of James Altucher's Newsletters under Choose Yourself Financial, which apparently works under Agora Financial. I paid for a one year subscription, used their platform for a few days. Their service was marketed to provide valuable investment information but actually it was extremely basic and just total trash content that you could easily find on google with little effort. Then I was unable to access their content 5 days after I signed up. I contacted these people three times in the last month and have not heard back from them. STAY AWAY. Never wanted to opt in. Called the 800 number as emails are non reply email addresses. Billed me twice. Second time was after I went through the phone menu and the computer told me I was all set. It was the same day I received the notice I would be billed. 21 days later I was billed anyway. Customer service would SUCK if it existed at all. Disputing charge and blocked them from billing my card. I lost whatever respect I had for Jim Rickards. Absolutely pathetic waste of time and money and the few "picks" I looked at were horrible and would have lost money. Listed below are only some the numerous newsletters that were being advertised to my Mom and that she was subscribed to many of them, at one time about $500 worth of them in a few months time. In October, as a result of my changing Mom's e-mail address at Agora Financial, (to a new "dummy" email account I set aside for her, ). UPDATE: within a period of 21 days, 148 of these newsletters were issued .So just one boiler room operation controls all these, though they bill with separate names and phone numbers and deny the existence of the others. This is kind of lengthy so please read all and then look at your own Credit Card statements. You will be lucky to have a $4.95 charge, but later it will renew at $49.99, later $99.99. They are greedy schmucks. Also they have a penchant to target elderly republican voters. So much hypocrisy for Good American values. Here is one example of what my Moms credit card had. This after having hundreds of dollars worth of charges removed from a previous credit card. The format will be same some report, an 800 number, an address in Maryland or West Palm Beach. PSV*Lifetime Income Report. Two charges $4.95 on Sept 7 and $49.00 on Sept 13. They are actually called Agora Financial. They had my Mom listed in their VIP department! That is NOT GOOD! I have called and cancelled those. Please folks, do not give any of these folks your credit card information. Do not call them or answer their calls begging you to come back. Do not even peek at their websites or click on their e-mails. It is all a scam and they will be charging you over and over for the next year. They are very bad people. These same bad people are all related and any e-mails like these avoided like the plague. I got 62 emails in first 4 days by simply giving an email address to Agora Financial. These are all the same folks located in Maryland and West Palm beach. They churn out these newsletters as fast as they spam your in box. THEY ARE LEACHES!!! In October 2017, less than 2 years ago, I paid Agora $3,000 for a lifetime subscription to Rickard's Gold Speculator, a weekly publication related to investing in small gold miners. I was pleased with it. Recently, this newsletter was discontinued and Agora Financial unilaterally substituted another publication, Jim Rickard's Project Prophecy, often which appear to be pitches for yet other products sold by Agora and usually has little to do with gold or miners when an occasional recommendation is made. Then, just "coincidentally", Agora's subsidiary Stansberry Research recently initiated what appears to be a quite identical gold mining stock service, Gold Stock Analyst with John Doody. On August 27, 2019, I spoke to "John", a senior account specialist at Agora about this. I inquired into whether there was a substitute publication available specifically for gold mining stocks but he indicated there wasn't. When I inquired about getting switched into the Gold Stock Analyst service, he indicated that wasn't possible. When I inquired about a full or even partial refund of the $3,000, John said it wasn't refundable. So, in less than 2 years, Agora discontinues a "lifetime" gold mining publication, has no substitute, won't provide a full or partial refund of a lifetime subscription to it, then initiates an almost identical gold stock advisory service service through it's sister publication Stansberry. Highly unethical, if not illegal, IMO. read more

Stay away from this company. They sold me a lifetime subscription to Weekly Options Profits, which was canceled within 9 months. They refused to refund my money and automatically transferred the subscription to Nomi Prins Dark Money Millionaires without asking me. I have another subscription to a Zach Scheidt offering which has been ok, but I have to endure endless solicitation emails about their products plus they sell your emails to other financial companies who also flood your email with endless solicitations. I really don't recommend this company. I subscribed to Naomi's Dark Money. Only after that I found out that I am not qualified to trade the kind of things (options) she recommended. Then the Tim's Sykes Penny Stocks. Well, I am just not fast enough to release the trades that he recommended. So I lost a lot of money just by subscribing to their letters. Of course, they stick to their no-refund policies. So the few thousand dollars are GONE. Worse yet, after their subscriptions, the company kept giving my emails to other 'free subscriptions', so my email address virtually became clogged up by these unsolicited emails. I kept unsubscribing, then I kept receiving NEW subscriptions. I had to call and ask the company to delete my email address from their data file. I hope it works this time. read more

Agora will tell you the success rates of Jicki subscription they offer. You can trade stocks, options, cryptocurrencies and metals. I don't know a better service than Agora, but you will get a lot of marketing opportunities to look over the different subscriptions, and since there are quite a few, it can overwhelm your Inbox if you can't keep up. I subscribed to the 42 Day Retirement Plan last October and never gained access to the service or receive the iPad Air that was promised. I requested a refund and disputed the charge with my credit card company. Agora Financial denied the refund initially but changed that on December 19, 2017. I was to received a credit in the amount of $2,000 within 3 to 5 business days. I still haven't received the credit and have contacted them numerous times to request them to do so. They haven't contacted me regarding this since December 19, 2018 and continue to ignore my requests. I signed up for James Altucher's Crypto Currency Report and Masterclass. The masterclass is a total joke. Now I get bombarded with an endless stream of click bait articles and low budget videos from a bunch of nobodies trying to scam more money from me. All of their self-promoting articles from a bunch of dressed up no names come from the same source, (Agora Finanacial) and go on forever and say nothing. There are no specifics unless maybe you want to fall for their upsales to find out. All of their videos are via Wistia, which does not allow you to rewind or fast forward. I've been in the financial education industry for 25 years and Agora is the worst. They are aggressive marketers and wildly inflate their claims. The services that I've seen of theirs are complete crap. If you sign up for a trial or try to get a refund for unfulfilled promises, you're out of luck. They do everything in their power to keep from giving refunds. I have been a supporter of Bill Bonner and Jim Rickard for a while as they are undeniably smart. Although I am now questioning how successful investors and honest they are. The trades on Strategic Intelligence since inception are overall loosing money or at best a wash. Also recently I subscribed to Jim Rickard's Project Prophesy based on insider's suspicious trading which is a good idea. The sale pitch presents 15 to 20 option trades with high returns on a short number of days. Upon accessing the subscription you can realize that those trades were never placed and were probably only back tested and that in between the many open/closed trades there are mostly losing trades and a few winning trades for an overall huge loss. Nobody can trade that and of course the customer service sticks to the non-refundable claim despite the flagrant misrepresentation. read more

I have been saving up to invest (The Bible says invest in yourself) and have received the same solicitations and bought the little book for $4.95. I have the "VIRTUAL CREDIT CARD" through Citi Bank for online orders, they generate a CC# for you with an expiration date (the end of next month), and a cvc. It shows up on your regular Citibank credit summary as "Click Bank". I have never had any problems with it. I hope everyone could use this system instead of being scammed because they are trusting and hoping for a better life. I signed up originally for Robert Kiyosaki's Cash Flow within Agora. Then, they started sending a lot of other opportunities. I assumed Kiyosaki was part of this group and I trust his name (I've bought products from him before and have been happy with them). Robert's Cash Flow is very well managed with a teacher that is understandable. And the Cash Flow has been successful. They don't promise the moon. The rest of Agora seems to be a lot of talk with no real results. It would be like gambling. They promise big hits, but I've been tracking Tim Sykes or instance and he has lost more than won. In all fairness, they do ask us to study and do our own due diligence. I just resent and am upset with their marketing strategy and bogus promises and once I've bought, they keep sending me the same shit over and over that is annoying and mostly garbage.
