I tracked down an employee, who informed me that the car wash was closed. When I asked why the station was still selling car washes when the facility wasn't operating, I was told I could simply come back tomorrow to use it. That wasn't an acceptable solution. I don't live nearby and have no intention of making a special trip back just to get a car wash. I asked for a refund, but the employee said that wasn't possible because they were closed. She then pointed out that the car wash hours were posted on a small sign near the exit. Unfortunately, a sign at the exit does nothing to warn customers before they purchase a car wash at the pump. If the car wash is closed, the pumps should not be selling car wash tickets, or customers should at least be clearly warned before completing the purchase. This experience was frustrating and left a poor impression. The cost and inconvenience of driving back exceed the value of the car wash itself. Because of how this was handled, I do not plan to return to this station.

When the day came, Victor and his team arrived 30 minutes earlier, but let me know that I didn't need to rush if I wasn't ready. Once I got all my things out, they went straight to business. The team was very thorough and Victor was very honest on certain small spots I pointed out that he can't fix and didn't want to damage more if he tried which I totally understand. I came in wanting the basic wash, but I ended up agreeing to a much more expensive option because I felt pressured in the moment. Looking back, I wish I had stuck with what I originally wanted. After my car wash, I chatted with others and realized the basic wash was exactly what I had been looking for all along! I quickly ran back inside and politely asked if it would be possible to switch to the basic wash instead. Karen at the front desk was incredibly kind, patient, and professional throughout the entire interaction. She listened to my concerns, called the manager over, and treated me with genuine respect. I was so appreciative of her customer service that I even contacted the corporate office afterward to compliment her. Thank you, Karen!! Unfortunately, my interaction with the manager left me feeling disappointed. Throughout the conversation, I remained polite, smiled, and apologized for the misunderstanding because I truly wasn't trying to create a difficult situation. I simply wanted the basic wash that I had originally intended to purchase. Thankfully, the pricing was ultimately adjusted, but I left feeling that my request had been misunderstood when I was only asking if it would be possible to switch to the service I had originally wanted. Once everything was resolved, I went back to thank the manager for adjusting the price and apologized again because I genuinely appreciated that the situation had been corrected. I also want to give credit where it's due! The team cleaning my car was friendly and hardworking. Because the cleaning was interrupted while the pricing issue was being sorted out, my car ended up unfinished. There were still wet spots, my back seat had been folded down and wasn't returned to its original position, and there were even some bird droppings left on the exterior when I drove away. I was genuinely excited to try this company after driving by so often! I haven't given up on the brand, and I'd still love to check out the other Thousand Oaks location (N Moorpark) in the future. My advice to future customers is to be very clear about which wash you want and confirm the price before agreeing to any additional services. These days it's hard to find a car wash that offers great service and that's reasonably priced. I requested a basic wash and included wheels & tire shine. Upon receiving my vehicle following service, I was very pleased with the service I received. I highly recommend this place for fuel and a quick wash. The place is clean and the staff make its welcoming atmosphere. I will definitely return.
