I had a great experience when buying PURR & POST CATROPOLIS CAT FURNITURE. I was looking for something that my Maine Coons would not tip over and WOW did I find it!! I had never heard of Agri Feed Pet Supply but took a chance. Chris helped me on the phone and gave me a better description of the Catropolis but it is even better than his description. An awesome piece of furniture totally carpeted and wicked heavy. You really get what you pay for. The way it was wrapped for shipping was awesome. I was pleasantly surprised. It was my first time going in to this store. It was cute. It's cutely decorated and it just doesn't have pet supplies that also has cute memorabilia things as well. It wasn't the only thing that made this place great the customer service was top notch. Help me with my cat problem and recommended wonderful products I can't wait to try them. I've always had great experiences here in the past, but it will be a long time before I ever try this location again. I walked in at 6:05, almost 30 minutes before they closed and let them know I would be quick. There were three employees gathered around the door, acting like they were waiting to lock it, and looked very perturbed that I was coming in. I asked for a product and they let me know it was behind the counter. I was explaining to the girl what I needed and she immediately cut me off and told me I didn't know what I was talking about and when it sell me what I needed. Isn't it my money? I was shocked neither of the other employees hovering stepped in. They must not be interested in making any sales but my assumption is they had already counted their drawer and we're just ready to go home. read more

I recently placed an order online for local delivery - my first and only time ordering from Agri Feed. The website gave me the impression that everything I'd selected was in stock locally. That wasn't the case. One of the store managers called me, arranged her associate to deliver what they had, and the rest will come directly from the warehouse. She was so kind. For the confusion, they included a toy for my cat which was so sweet. The order was left right outside my front door neatly stacked. I am on daily chemo and thus immunocompromised. I selected delivery because I'm trying to avoid going out in public unless absolutely necessary. I typically order from Chewy.com but will now be buying exclusively from Agri Feed. Happy to support a local company who actually care about their customers. Human AND fur customers!! read more

My husband and I just moved to Knoxville with our dog, cats, tortoises, and house rabbit. I stopped here for the first time to pick up cat litter and was very impressed. The staff was super helpful and kind. The store itself was surprising in how much they carry for exotics (my bun got some extra treats and toys!), even carrying items that the big box stores don't have in stock right now. The next time I shopped there I brought my bun (of course they welcome pets) and they were super knowledgeable on rabbit care (many folks assume rabbits should be cared for like rodents) and offered him a healthy treat. Their prices are comparable with big box stores, for the most part. There's also a dog wash station that I plan to book soon. read more

Definitely the best pet store in Knoxville. They have the largest selection of items for dogs but also have many items for your other fur babies. It's located in the industrial section of Middlebrook Pike, and is in a big warehouse style building. My dogs absolutely love the antlers they have here. They are amazing chew toys for them and last for at least a year if not longer. They also have a frequent shopper card so make sure you sign up for that because they offer special deals. They may close earlier than other pet stores. I highly recommend you try and make it here before this one closes for the evening. I promise you won't be disappointed. While I'm sure this store has a nice in person selection, I would urge others to refrain from buying online. I ordered 4 bags of dog food on 9/21- 2 bags of each flavors. Two bags of one flavor arrived 10/3, without any communication of what happened to the other two bags that are marked in stock at time of purchase. On 10/7 I reached out to question, on 10/13 they emailed back that due to wildfires in Canada where the food is made, they were out of stock and unaware of when another shipment would come and offered a different flavor of food. I waited a little bit, still no shipping update. Needing to stick to my dogs particular flavor I asked for a refund on 10/28 to my card while waiting for it to come back in to stock. I have gotten no response. I had to open a dispute with my credit card which is still ongoing. Not to mention I paid $90 in shipping for 2 bags of dog food that I paid for and never received. If something isn't in stock for purchase, it shouldn't be an option to purchase and now hold on to my $340 without a response. Poor customer service. I won't be shopping here again. read more

I really like this little store, even though they're a bit out of the way. They're a local store, which is one of the biggest reasons why I choose them over Pet Smart. They also carry the better pet foods with natural ingredients, less fillers and the like. We used to get the largest bag of Nutro in the purple variety (whatever that is, I think venison?), and I got the same size in California Naturals with no grains at all for the same price at Agri Feed. They also have a deal where you can get a free bag of dog food after buying 12 within a year's time. They have a ton of toys, bowls, treats, and other miscellanea. We had a very pleasant first experience yesterday. We brought our dog inside and she was immediately greeted with a lot of love and attention...they even offered her a treat! We walked around the store and browsed - there's a really great selection! We were able to get her a few of her favorite treats that we haven't been able to find since we moved here. Prices are fair and consistent with major online retailers. When we checked out, the staff offered her one more treat for the road! We will definitely be back. read more

I really like this pet store. They have alot of different dog treats and specialty foods available... again you can take your dog friends with you! Prices are reasonable. They usually hold some kind of pure breed rescue adopt a thon there on Saturdays... which I think is awesome (I'm a fan of pure breeds) They had a large wild bird housing and feeding section (me and my husband are obsessed with feeding the bird friends in our back yard) Plus its local owned and I like that! Nice store, clean and well stocked. Dogs, of course, welcomed on leash. Staff friendly. Prices might be on the higher side but that is probably because they can't buy in the volume of say Petsmart. If I had to come up with something bad to say it would be that the staff is almost too friendly. By that I mean that they want to help you with everything so you can't browse on your own. Only my second time in the store and I really like this place. The first time I went in to get a leash for my puppy who chews through everything and the nice young lady helped me and even ordered the collar for me so that they could match (my own little quirk) today I called ahead because I needed an inflatable cone for the same puppy who was neutered and was escaping the standard one they are sent home in. The wonderful lady who helped me over the phone not only pulled it to the front for me and had it ready but also was quick in helping me find the other items I needed. My favorite local pet store! They stock some of the best dog products! I very rarely am concerned about the quality of anything I buy from their store. The staff is extremely helpful and has gone out of their way to help me order certain products they did not stock. Their prices tend to be pretty reasonable, sometimes they are expensive then the big name competitors, but when that is the case it is only by a few dollars.
