They did a GREAT job. They were the general contractor. My husband and I had the ideas, put together from going to Floor & Decor and Home Center Outlet....HCO did cabinet design, we purchased all the cabinets from them, lighting, etc, then they l did it all the installations and made great suggestions,and said what was possible (and not). My only suggestion would be for AGV to have a consistent communication to the customer every day (such as a email or text) as to when AGV would be at a client's home and until what time, and what would be done that day. You get that in place, you have will have a 5-Star experience for your clients. read more

Hired ACV Construction to do a small job. It took over four weeks to complete and I had to contact them multiple times a week to get them to come back to finish. Absolutely horrible service. Argumentative, not professional, did not finish the job. I would not recommend them at all. read more

I hired AGV Construction for a small renovation project at my condo. I was moving in within a few months of hiring them. As my deadline to move in approached and the work was incomplete the owner said "your deadline is not my problem". I had been out of town so I went to my condo to check in on what had been done and was shocked! The place was a mess and most items incomplete. I am now having to sue them to get back money owed to me for things I had already paid them for and some damages they left behind. I would HIGHLY recommend NOT using this company. read more

I had a great experience with AGV during a major renovation of a brick ranch on basement. Santiago and his father Alex make a great team. The level of knowledge Alex has is impressive, a true talented general contractor with experience doing every kind of construction on a home. We had the interior gutted, removed a load bearing wall, vaulted the ceiling, deck built, and lots of plumbing and carpentry/framing work! They can do electrical, but if it's a big job like this, they have great sub contractors they work with and all very reasonable pricing. I strongly recommend AGV construction. read more

We recently did a complete renovation of our kitchen and AGV Constructions did the entire project. They did the demolition of the old kitchen cabinets and peninsula and removed all of the old appliances. They then installed new cabinets, a new island, did all of the plumbing, gas and electric work, new lighting, installed new appliances, and designed and built custom shelves for us. Alex and Santiago, and their entire crew, were great to work with and did high quality work on every aspect of the project. They were open to changes and made great recommendations. I hired these guys for a kitchen remodel and they were awesome!!! As a military veteran with anxiety I was so nervous since I had never used them before and because of the previous yelp review. They were very patient and listened to everything I wanted. After the first day my anxiety was gone. I wish we knew of them 2 years ago when we finished our basement. They always responded to messages within a timely fashion, always on time, and if plans changed they called in advance. I can't wait until they do our hardwoods. I was given their number by Home Center Outlets in Kennesaw when I bought a new vanity top. I'll that o needed them to do was to pick up the top and install it. I called early in the week and they told me they could do i that Friday. Then, at the last minute, they said they couldn't do it and told me they would do i the following week. Needless to say, my top has still not been installed. They are horrible planners. read more

Started off good then jobs were stretched out and incomplete. Left me with the responsibility to find tub and get to job site. AGV was aware i do not have truck and deliveries were 2-3 weeks. The tub i found was 7 miles from job site and i was forced to pay my neighbor to pickup tub. AGV broke the mirror glued to the wall in the bathroom that they were doing the remodel in. The mirror was not removed prior to demo or remodel. Mirror was broken when installing vanity. Instead of replacing broken mirror, AGV placed a wood frame around mirror. The frame was installed flush to the granite countertop. Having the frame flush to countertop, less than an inch behind faucet, has caused the paint of the frame to bubble, crack and chip from retaining water splashed. I have brought it to AGV's attention and "tomorrow" keeps being the reply. However, it's been 4-5 weeks since issue was brought to AGV attention and 5 months since work done in September 2019. read more

We did a basement renovation with Alex. He re did our bathrooms and kitchenette. Couldn't be happier with the end results! Highly recommend AGV. I bought cabinets from Home Center Outlet and they ordered all of the wrong items. They were a nightmare to work with but thankfully Alex and Santiago solved all of my problems. Horrible customer service! No customer service after they took my money even though they clearly state a one year warranty. Stay far away from this company unless you like sloppy work and being degraded when you ask them to come make repairs. I cannot recall ever being talked to so rudely from any company I have hired to perform work on my home or any company I've done business with at all for that matter. I hired this company to install my kitchen cabinets and trim. They installed a piece that was clearly defective. The cabinet company gave me a new piece. I contacted Alex, the owner of AGV, about replacing the piece. I also needed them to adjust some of the cabinet doors that were hung uneven. The knobs were not aligned either, but I don't see how this can be fixed without leaving patched holes in the doors. He stated he was out of town and would come out next week. A few days later I get a call from some very rude woman at AGV, I'm guessing a family member of Alex's; since their business description touts that they are a small family business and his son, Santiago, did most of the installation. As soon as I answered the phone this woman starts ranting at me that they did not make the cabinets so it was not their fault. When she finally took a breath I jumped in and explained I knew that they had nothing to do with making the cabinets and that I had contacted the cabinet seller. The seller had given me a new piece. I just needed Alex to come install it for me. She said it was not their fault (her favorite mantra throughout the conversation, well, throughout her rant, it wasn't a conversation) and they would not replace it for free. I explained that they knew it was defective and they should not have installed it in the first place, but I would pay for them to install it. She went berserk! She went off on me. She started degrading me and the company that sold the cabinets. Said they would not come replace it for any reason, for any amount of money. She stated they would not come out to replace the piece because the cabinets were junk. She had a few other choice statements then hung up on me. I could hear a man beside her that sounded like Alex, so I assume he knew and approved of this woman's rant at one of his customers. Alex and AGV certainly had no problems taking my $1,400 to install the "junk." It is my understanding that AGV had been installing these cabinets for this company for about 10 years, but this company recently severed ties with AGV due to customer complaints. Just my unfortunate luck it was after I had hired AGV. I was extremely nice to Alex's son, Santiago, and the young man helping him install my cabinets. The first day I bought them lunch since they were there without anything to eat and after they were finished I tipped them very generously. Just goes to reinforce the old saying "no good deed goes unpunished." The original installation took longer than they anticipated. Alex told me he would finish in one day. The first day it was just Alex's son and another young man until about 3:30 when Alex showed up. At the end of the second day they rushed to get finished, left a mess of wood shavings and sawdust on my front porch, and rehung my front porch door wrong. It would not close, so I had to hire someone else to rehang it properly. If you do decide to go out on a limb and hire this company to do work for you, then make sure you thoroughly examine every inch of the work before paying them. Once they cash the check if a problem occurs it is "not their fault." read more
