The nails are badly shaped n im bleeding on my pinky...AND when I wanted to select a color she dint even give me minute or two to decide the color.. awful... rude and dead environment and they rush their work. not worth what you're paying for. lack of care for the nails and the customers. they're rushing so powder is everywhere, the nail polish isn't even dried or painted on clean. my cuticles weren't even touched. save your $$$ and spend it on an environment where people want to do a good job and care for you, not those that are rushing to get it over with. read more

Went in today with no appointment. Waited approximately ten minutes for service and it was an intermittent service. They were very busy. I got the solar gels with a color gel over and a pedicure. The pedicure was great- I don't like long drawn out processes but the girl was super quick and very thorough. Paint looks nice. The manicure however... She was gentle with my nails after I told her that they were very thin, no over filing or cuticle butchering. However, she made my nails very thick and the file was super uneven. I like my nails nice and short and that seemed to go against the grain. I had to go home and spend a good amount of time filing them out to be square, even, and shorter. I will admit to liking them better shorter and more even but I expected that at the salon. All in all, decent prices for the area. I went there last night for a full set nails. I got there around 630 and I got out at almost 830. Ridiculous. Over that my nails look really thick or fat. Some spots of my nails are not fully of acrylic. They didn't do a great job to me. Also she charged me 60 dollars for shitty nails ( sorry, but that's how they look to me) I honestly get better nails at Plainfield (Capital Nails) for 35$ and they do a great job, I recommend this place! Somebody recommended me Aha Nails and I heard good things about them. BAD DECISION!! I will never go back there, even if they offer me a discount. NEVER GO TO THIS PLACE TO GET NAILS DONE. read more

Disgusting work! The young girl working there is too slow and does not even know how to apply nail paint. None of my nails looked similar and she could not even cut cuticles properly, I had to point n show her again and again what she left out. Also the manager/owner I don't know what she is, is the most unprofessional lady I have ever seen. She did not even let me dry my nails and just applied quick dry oil on it n made me go as she had to close. I will never ever go there again! read more

I have been to this nail salon only twice. The first time I went, I was happy to be greeted and actually treated like a customer unlike other nail salons in the same area. As I was trying to decide which color to pick the lady whom which ended up painting my nails made me hurry with my decision. In the end I choose a color she almost "pressured me into". I put that in quotes because I do not think it was intentional but I really did feel hurried. And as a first time customer that wasn't helping my first impression. None the less the job was done right, I left somewhat satisfied. Then just a few days ago I decided to go back for another manicure. Personally I have always been a fan of gel manicures but over time the gel manicure has taken a toll on my nails and have made them quite weak and also the neon light for some reason hurts my nails. So that given day I came in with a picture of a simple nail design that I wanted to get done with just simple nail polish. I was put with Lee, the gentleman that works there. He seemed quite nice and even sparked up a nice conversation while he was doing my nails. Now this time I came it with a particular service in mind so I knew to make a decision before I came in. And yet after showing the picture of what I wanted to Lee he started telling me that I should get a gel manicure. I told him no thank you I would prefer a normal manicure, but he still insisted. Again and again I felt the more I wanted to voice what I WANTED as A CUSTOMER, my voice what not getting heard. Maybe it was my fault for being too much of a pushover customer. But in the end Lee managed to manipulate me into getting a set of 4 layers of Acrylic manicure with a design that looked completely different then what I originally asked for, and to top it all off this he charged me $45.00+tip!! All the while I kept complaining about how I do not like it, and it is not what I asked for. I also continued to question ever step he took, asking why, isn't that too much?, they feel to thick, the UV light it hurting my nails, etc. Every time I voiced my concerns and disapproval he would respond back with "Trust me, trust me, I will take care of you". In the end as you may guess I was completely unhappy with the service. I told the young lady that works there I was not happy with the job and that I thought this nail salon did such designs, she said in response, "I mean, I can do them" insinuating that maybe not everyone can but I can. As I walked out that day, I felt like my dignity went to shame. I wanted so much to go back into the salon and express how I felt that I was not being heard, and as a customer I felt my satisfaction with the job meant nothing. It is safe to say I won't be going back. Some advice I would give to the salon is, Listen to your customers, Be sincere in trying to satisfy your customers, and lastly if you can not do the job right assign the job to someone who actually can. read more

Do not go here. Horrible experience. At first I was happy they took me for a manicure as a walk in. Until they assigned an old woman who, I realized too late, didn't understand or speak any English. She hurt me when pushing and cutting my cuticles. The tools were not out of a package or in a sterilized solution. She cut my long nails too short. (I clearly asked for them to be trimmed just a little. I said it more than once.) She did a sloppy painting job. And then, on top of everything, she had no idea how to give me change for a $12 manicure when I paid with a $20 bill. She and I went back and forth for a few minutes while I tried to explain what my change should be. No one else on staff got up to help. Finally, after I managed to pay and give her a tip, she said, "What about for me?" THAT she knew how to say in English. Stay away from this place. read more

All I asked was a gel manicure with some glitter on the tips and got charged $40!!!$40 girl can't even do what I asked for. Tried to explain to her to put more glitter on the tips she put lotion on my hands and told me I was done. A gel manicure with design shouldn't cost more than $30. Never again. This place is nasty. So dirty and skeeves me out. I really wanted to like it as it's convenient on my lunch break and came here a few times when I've been desperate. Well recently was the straw that broke the camels back. Needed gels taken off and a manicure. Got half the gel off and attempted to put manicure on top of old gel. Seriously? And charges me the full amount even though my nails looked awful. Will absolutely never return. I shouldn't have come a second time let alone third and fourth. Nice atmosphere and staff but they charged me for something I didn't even ask for. I never get gel EVER EVER and the guy who did my nails apparently used gel and didnt even ask me if I wanted it. Ive always been asked if I want gel before them just using it. $30 for a fill is bogus. I will stick to Bella Salon in Perth Amboy. They not only do a great job but they dont trick their customers. I've been getting my nails done for years. I went there on New Years Eve for a fill in, but woman who did my nails said my nails were too thick and to "trust her". So I did and she gave me an entire new set of gels. She had no idea what she was doing and they turn out awful! She also filed my thumbs to closely to my skin and cut both of them. I was very angry and complained to the manager who gave me a voucher so I could come back and have them fixed for free. I just looked at the voucher and it was instead a $20 gift certificate. Does anyone really believe I can get an entirely new set of nails of $20???? I definitely will never go back there. read more
