I ended up having my Chiro request the tests I needed & received PT for the issue which was far from sciatica. Pain lasted about a week, he prescribed meds that enabled me to be active almost immediately. The abdominal swelling was minimal. Discomfort a month later is very minimal. He was friendly and even joked a bit which I appreciated because it helped with my anxiety. Since my surgery was so late he told me that he wouldn't be seeing me before discharge which was fine given the late hour. However he met with my hubby after the surgery and explained how everything went which was well. I didn't get to the unit until 2 am just because it took awhile for me to wake up. I was discharged later that day after lunch. I scheduled a follow up for two weeks post op and that went well. He has a great bedside manner. His office was clean and the staff were all friendly. In fact, I made an appt for him to check out some vein issues I have. I'm glad he was the one on call that night! Highly recommend him!
