The portion was massive, incredibly crispy without being greasy, and the chicken stayed juicy throughout. The seasoning was simple but spot on. We also tried the Spicy Chicken Sandwich combo, which was equally satisfying. The chicken fillet was huge with just the right amount of heat, and the fries were perfectly crispy, golden, and well seasoned enough to enjoy on their own. This was our first visit. They have a soft opening right now and everything is 10% off. We tried a bunch of stuff such as the Taiwanese crispy chicken meal which comes with fries and a drink for about $15. The chicken was seasoned with salt and pepper. We also ordered the crispy burger, snack platter for about $20 which comes with a mix of fried fish cakes, fried squid tentacles and popcorn chicken. Everything tasted really good. It was very fresh!!! The store has about 8 tables a couple of them can accommodate up to 4 people. We also tried the crispy wings which were amazing!! The New Orleans wings were okay for me. Having tried Ai Taiker a couple times now, I can say that they are very consistent. Although a fast food joint, the turn around can take up to 10minutes since they make everything on the spot! Everything I have tried so far have came out hot and very crunchy. A great trade off. My favorites include: Deep Fried Tentacles and Deep Fried Chicken wings. Ai Taiker's squid tentacles are imported from New Zealand and deep fried fresh per order with the simplicity of salt.The chewy, almost crunchy, texture becomes even more apparant with the batter they use that you normally see on Taiwanese Popcorn Chicken. The chicken wings use a different type of batter but they are still made to order. Both are super crunchy, deeply savory, and absolutely addictive. I've also tried: New Orleans Thigh Meat Burger and Chicken Cutlet. For the Burger, they use a brioche bun so it's fluffy and soft and it is stacked with lettuce, mayo, tomato and a chicken thigh piece. As a whole, I thought the burger was only ok and I was disapopinted with the size. It comes cold and is quite small and deflated. All of the ingredients were fresh but the meat was cooked a bit over. Overall, the burger I had was ok, but not really one I'd crave for. The chicken cutlet was alright. I honestly prefer the snacks over it. The white meat is made with chicken breast and it is not juicy as I would imagine and the snacks are breaded better. Note: They no longer offer 10% with cash discount unless you spend over $20!
