I stopped in to get my eyebrows and lip threaded and had found they only had one worker working! No big deal. There was 2 people ahead of me so I thought, threading shouldnt take as long, so I waited. When it came to my turn, I had noticed the worker did not clean or sanitize the headrest or chair as the last client left. I never saw her wash her hands or use hand sanitizer either! I then simply asked if she could, and she did. As she proceeded, she only spent a minute on my brow and then asked if I wanted the cooling gel on them after. No trimming, no brushing, nothing. I took a look at my brows and there was still a good amount of hair on both sides of my brows! She then went back in and threaded them. After the second time, I looked and there was still some hair she had missed. At that point, I was already running behind on schedule and had to leave. I enjoy coming here every single time. I used to live up the street but I moved now I drive like 15mins to come get my eyebrows threaded. Sarita she is very good and has a sweet personality. We have our one on one girl talk she is the best! Last month I was going on vacation to the beach so Sarita talked me into getting a wax. I had it done before and it hurt like HELL (excuse my language), but I went ahead and let her do the Brazilian wax. Once again it hurt like HELL but it was worth it. She said the more you do it the less it hurts (WRONG LOL). Also, less hair will come back and start to thin. That is a good perk for going through that pain. It had been a while since I had had my eyebrows threaded before today. The last 2 or 3 places BEFORE going to AIB that I had been, my skin was very red and the lady doing the threading had always been annoyed that I couldn't place my hands correctly when she needed my help holding my skin. NOT TODAY!!!! Today I was very impressed!!!! I wish I had asked for her business card. I want to say that her first name began and ended with an A. My face was not irritated and when she threaded my eyebrows it did not hurt at all!!! The salon was very clean. I was in and out in 15 minutes and they did a fabulous job, taking their time to make sure my brows looked beautiful! If you do purchase the yelp deal, however, be sure to print it out. The first lady looked at the voucher and looked unsure of what to do with it then she showed it to a coworker who understood. May just make it easier to process if they have the paper copy. They only positive thing I can say is that most staff is friendly. I've had mostly bad experiences with my eyebrows here. One time they were very very short and thin. I was upset but I didn't say anything idk why. Then I came to find out the young girl who did my eyebrows wasn't even licensed to do cosmetics. Other times my eyebrows were threaded okay not the best job. And it always seemed to be a problem with me not how they shaped them. There is one person who did them better than the other women. But now I found a new threading salon where I never have this issue again. They new lady and the new place knows exactly what I want and how to accomplish it. read more

I was really nervous coming here because I always get my eyebrows threaded at SOI in Arlington. However, since this location opened early on a Saturday, it was nearby, and I was running on a tight schedule - I decided to try this place out. I was impressed! There was only one lady who was manning the entire store around 9AM fortunately with not many customers when I came in. I told her how I wanted my eyebrows done and she made them exactly how I asked! She'd mention a few times to let her know if I felt something uncomfortable or whatnot & also took the time to make small talk with me in the less than 5 minutes I was there getting my eyebrows and upper lip threaded. As a first time customer, she did a great job. I was in and out of there quickly too. Overall, despite how the place looks (kinda dingy, could definitely use some touch to the bland look) I would certainty come back specifcially for the convenience and service. read more

This is my fourth time coming to this place. I usually have another woman do my eyebrows (Sarita), who was AMAZING, but she has since moved. In general, everyone is very polite and respectful. So here comes today's visit. Today, the woman who threaded my eyebrows did so a little too roughly. The biggest issue was when she hits the eyeLASHES and the inner corner of my other eye with her thread while threading my eyebrows -- which she did at least twice. This set me on edge for the remainder of the visit. In addition, she hovers very close when doing my eyebrows. I've had my eyebrows threaded countless of times before, and I can say that this is the first and only time hitting the eyelashes of the other eye with the thread has happened to me. Needless to say, it was very disconcerting! Now what happens after is either better or worse, depending on your perspective. The manager contacted me through my cell phone shortly after reading this review in order to see what he could do to make my review on Yelp a more positive one. While I appreciate his desire to please, I did not appreciate the use of my cell phone number in order to improve my original star rating of 3/5 to a higher one. Because I have a mixed opinion of his approach, I'm keeping my star rating to 3/5, no higher or less. And because of the awkward nature of the phone call, I have decided not to return to the salon, even if it is only five minutes away from where I live. read more

This was my first time visiting this eyebrow threading place, and for sure the last. The gentleman in the front was very polite, but the work on my eyebrows was utterly horrible. I asked for a clean up, and instead the lady made my eyebrows thin, straight, and destroyed my natural arch. I'm a guy, so you can imagine how pissed I am walking around with thin eyebrows.
