I had a great experience at Date palm cleaners. The job was done well, but even more I loved the customer service. I've been looking for a new cleaners after a disappointing experience at neighboring competitor, Nu-Way Cleaners. Although Date Palm is significantly better than what I like to cal "No-Way Cleaners," I don't really see myself using their services again. I dropped off a hockey jersey on a Friday and was told to come back the following Wednesday. When I arrived on Wednesday afternoon, I was told that it was still not ready and to come back the next day. Not the biggest deal, life happens. Unfortunately I had to leave the Coachella Valley for a couple of weeks and it would've been nice to' read had my jersey. My other issue, when I came back I was originally quoted $3.95. I fount this extra cheap and was happy. When I expressed my content, the woman I had dealt with all three visits, changed the price to $4.95. I don't know why but this bugged me but it did. They did a great job. My jersey looks as good as new (much better than after No-Way had it) but I'll be looking for another cleaners for when I'm in the Coachella Valley. read more

Been going to Date Palm Cleaners for years. Was sad to see it change management because I loved the last owner, but decided to give the new ownership a try. At first, service was ok. Any concerns about my order were quickly remedied. Then I am not sure if management changed hands again (didn't see the usual workers there) but service has taken a dive. Went in on Monday the week of Christmas. Dropped off a duvet and three shirts. The man there (I assumed was the manager, or new owner???) told the woman helping me (with a dismissive attitude) that he wouldn't have my order ready until the following week. As in 10 days later. Slightly annoying, but it's the holidays and in the end understandable. Mind you when I looked around to see how many customers' clothes were hanging up and ready to go (since they do everything on-site) it was minimal. Fast forward to the following week. Went in actually a day later than my pick-up date and the same man informed me that my order is not ready and to come back the following week. Or, I could take back my dirty clothes with me lol. When his helper looked for my order, my duvet had been dry cleaned, and my three shirts were still dirty. I opted to take my clothes with me. He was apologetic and told me his "boiler was broken"(even though the industrial washer in the back of the shop was running and turning over clothes) and handed me a $20 gift certificate but didn't offer to discount my duvet that he wasn't even aware was finished. It's too bad, I was a loyal customer. Would average about once a month to bring in my order. They are unprofessional and their inability to get it together shows. Great customer service would have been to call me to inform me that my order was not ready (I drive a distance) and it wouldn't have been an issue. Or, discount my piece that was finished and put a rush on my clothes that hadn't been cleaned. It would have been all good. If you have the time to drive back and forth to see if your dry cleaning order is ready then give this business a try. If you are a busy individual then I highly do not recommend this business. In the end, their list of excuses is not my problem and I will go elsewhere. read more

Been going here for about 9 mos. Cheaper then my last cleaners and closer. They have been doing a good job till today. Just picked up one of my favorite what used to be a vibrant orange designer button shirt. Well not anymore. Picked it up today and it was a terribly faded orange color, almost as if it was bleached out. Owner said she followed dry cleaning instructions and didn't launder it. She said that dry cleaning can fade sometimes. What ???? Why would the instructions say to dry clean if it would fade the fabric. Plus I have had this place clean This same shirt before and this didn't happen. She offered no compensation whatsoever! Well guess I have to share my experience and submit a rating to this place. I 've been going to this cleaners for about 10 years. I have never had a problem and they offer alteration and preservation service too. You are looking at $1.50-$5.00 a piece for dry cleaning. read more

It's been a good store. Only complaint was one shirt (had to be the favorite) seemed to have shrunk the second time I took it in. (I didn't tell them as it might be smaller but still a good shirt. Still, good job on all others. As well very courteous and polite. They do a good job that I either choose not to do, or let's face it, they do it better. read more

They always do a great job here. I have no complaints. The owner is very sweet and the prices are very very affordable.

They always get our clothes clean and ready when promised. Prices are decent and the woman managing the front is always so friendly.
