I received a gift certificate for this place and went in to use it before it expired. Gift certificate reads that it's good for 6 months from date of purchase and "cannot be apply to gratuity unless indicate." I got a pedicure and had 15 dollars left on the gift certificate. As it's expiring within a few days I asked to use it toward the tip and was very rudely told no. I asked about the wording on the certificate and when it would need to be indicated, just for general curiosity and was never informed an answer and Alex just kept saying no expire no expire while becoming more loud and more rude until he walked away. I did give the nail tech a cash tip because it wasn't her doing and she did a nice job. Also to note- something seemed off to me even before I presented the gift certificate. They clearly favor their regular clients over new ones. Very Poor costumer service in my opinion. read more

I use this place all the time. I've never gotten a bad mani or pedi. I live close by and never make an appointment. If I go and they are too busy I go home. The only thing I don't care for is I've had one person starts a procedure and someone else finishes it. Guess they figure out the tip. read more

I called 2 days ahead for a 10:45 appointment for a single color pedicure. It's been 30 minutes and I am still waiting. I am currently here not being seen while someone who walked in and someone else who had an 11am appointment got seen before me. I am the only person here not being seen and the workers are giving glares and providing no information on when I will get my pedicure started. The owner is very rude, frivolous and unprofessional with the way he takes calls and handles incoming customers. I use to love it here but the inconsistency is unbelievable. Doubtful I will receive a discount for the half hour wait on an appointment and that is a shame on their part. read more

A nail salon that uses cheap products. Return with Cracked nails after a few days and get an attitude from the manager. Had to return 3 times within the same week and it was my fault. Thankfully for me, I no longer live in the area and certainly will not visit this establishment again. They use cheap products to have their clients return in a short time to benefit financially. Owner, Alex, is rude and unprofessional. He does not know how to operate an appointment book. He takes appointment requests to get you in the door, then changes your time and your manicurist request all the while losing patience with you, the customer, who just wants what they booked and were promised. He just talks over you and tells you if you don't change your time or manicurist request, "fine, you can wait hours" with a shoulder shrug, no eye contact and certainly no apology. His behavior is a reflection of his business so no thanks, never again. I won't be walking through that door anymore. I highly recommend going elsewhere. I'd personally rather travel to Rhinebeck or Kingston for a higher end salon with actual ambiance instead of this place's water stained drop ceiling, lighting so bright that I feel like I'm on an operating table with The Food Network playing in the background. Wish i could give them negative stars. I was very specific about ANC and why. I even came back the next day Bc their ANC apt were booked. Should have asked around more about them, as i am new to the area. They put 2 coats ANC and proceeded with gel. I questioned about the gel, and they said that's how they do it. Few hours later it was peeling within 18 hours a few nails were chipping. Went back next day and the guy was upset with me, and made his nail tech put regular top coat over my nails. This salon is owned by the rudest person I've ever met. I used to use this salon when my usual nail person was on vacation. I had to unfortunately have the owner do my nails. I asked him to please pick a nice purple polish for me. He told me I was " lazy" and should pick my own color. If my nails weren't half done I would have left at that moment. You see, I don't see well and my usual nail person always helped me with picking a color and very graciously I may add. The owner is also extremely rough and my fingers hurt for days after the hour or so I spent with him while he pulled it my arthritic fingers trying to straighten them into positions that they just can't go into. It was a horrible experience of embarrassment. When I was done, this nasty man denied being the owner of the salon telling me that the owner as"Aiden Nails". It was such a bad experience. I have been going to Aidan Nails since 2008 mainly because it is only a few minutes from my home and I have been satisfied with their gel manicures and pedicures which last a long time, however they are constantly overbooked,disorganized and the manager can be rude. I have tolerated this until now because of their masking policy. I was there on 5/23/21 after the ny state mask mandate had been lifted but they still required a mask which I was resigned to but when I asked the manager how long he thought it would go on he said since I was fully vaccinated I could take my mask off. He did the same and giggled. Yesterday my friend who is fully vaccinated was required to wear her mask and as she did not want to argue she complied. I called them today to clarify the situation and the employee I spoke with told me in no uncertain terms that they changed their minds because most of their clients don,t feel save amongst maskless clients despite the fact that they are fully vaccinated. She further went on to state that they will require masks until there is absolutely no threat of covid as they don,t want to lose clients. It made no sense to explain to her that I am not dangerous to anyone so I ended the conversation by expressing regret. I have found two other nail salons in the area that do not require masks. What angers me the most is her self righteous attitude and catering to fearful clients over myself who has given them a lot of business and referred a number of friends. I will never patronize them again even if and when they do lift the mandate which seems unlikely from the way she was speaking. It,s their loss! read more

Very good experience. They are one of the few places open on a Monday so that works in their favor (Open on Sunday's too!). I got a mani-pedi and the person helping me was very very nice and it looks great! Only one complaint- when you walk in no one greets you. Someone should be responsible for saying hello at least! read more

FILTHY tables. Need to call in the Board of Health. Some months ago a used dirthy band-aid left in a ring saucer on the side of manicure table. Never clean or moved in the nearly two hours I visited. Never never never again. Not so great Manicure or Pedicure for that matter. read more

The best part of this nail salon is that the service is reliable. One of the employees can be very loud and obnoxious, so if you're looking for a quite experience I'd go somewhere else. The female nail technicians are very friendly and always attentive to detail. A gel manicure normally lasts 10 days. read more
