Oof. I used to come here a lot, and have had a few good experiences. This time was different. I got a gel mani pedi. The manicure was great! I then got switched to another woman, who needs to quit. I had been there for an hour, and she kept stalling by giving me massages, which were extremely weak and hesitant. Then, I get to the bowl and she is filing me down and really just makes me bleed. I'm really bleeding. And still files on it while i'm wincing. It totally happens sometimes, but she was just so slow. She's doing all of this weird unnecessary prep. 30 minutes later my nails still haven't been started. She puts my feet in the bowl and starts spraying boiling hot water, didn't check it first. I got burned :/ and it's still red. She then starts massaging me...again. Then I eventually told her to get my nails started because I didn't have 3 hours to wait. The same woman from before starts my nails again, and they're great! It's very debatable if I'll come again :( . read more

Update-first time I came the owner did my nails and was so nice. I went back a few weeks later and unfortunately I will never go back. An older woman did my nails. She provided the worst service and gave me the worst anc manicure I've ever had. I asked her to cut my cuticles which were dry and needed to be cut and she said NO. She did not fully remove my red nail polish. It is showing through the light pink I chose . I aSked her to remove the red polish around my nails and her reply was "no".."no you can do it later", implying I could chip away the old polish she failed to remove , myself, later... ?! What??! The application of the powder was lumpy thick and uneven, I had to ask her to file my nails evenly and she did not . These images of my nails are only four days after my service. You can see the red polish she refused to remove around . Four days later my nails are dry, pulling from the nail bed and chipping. I will never go back read more

The prices don't match the service Not great for acrylic $27 for a gel color change (no cuticle work, shaping etc) Very kind though and good for maybe a basic manicure But they are not capable of matching the shape of the nails or size to each other. Globbed so much glue on the rhinestones they looked bulbous and dull. Ildespite it being the only one walking distance (I am not driving yet) I'm not returning. Great little nail spot in the heart of Rhinebeck. It's pretty basic in terms of decor & atmosphere, but they're great at nails and they all are very kind. Which if you ask me, are the two most important things in a nail salon. Took off one star just bc it could be a little bit cleaner inside, but the actual nail implements & foot baths are very clean. Just the floors need a little sweeping. Overall, this is my new nail place & i'm excited to return! read more

I was very disappointed in my experience here. I went for a pedicure and spent 40$ (2$ extra for nail polish that "lasts 10 days" and it chipped almost immediately after sitting under the fan). The pedicure was only 15 minutes and didn't include a foot rub or lotion or anything of that sort. Temperatures were not taken at the door even though all the equipment was out for it. Staff barely spoke to me and my mother and when the did it was rude. It was like the rushed and pushed us out of the salon which only had us in it! it wasn't busy! Definitely DO NOT recommend. read more

No frills, not worth the price. $51 for a manicure and pedicure without any hand/foot rub, no lotion, no cuticle oil-- just cut, filed, and painted. Additionally, they were not following COVID precautions. They did not take anyone's temperature, they did not have a barrier during the pedicure. read more

This was a very disappointing experience. My sister and I made appointments and hour before closure. When we arrived, the female owner finished my pedicure in fifteen minutes, including the soak time. She didn't do anything besides one coat of polish. When I asked about the other services that are typically included, like cleaning up the cuticles, buffing the nails and exfoliating the bottom of the foot, she said she already did it, but worked fast.... Well, I watched her the whole time and None of this was done on my $30 treatment. Her husband did provide a nice foot rub, but that would be my old positive comment. My sister received a manicure and experienced the same frustrations. A shotty paint job and no actual service that should be included. I am assuming this is due to them wanting to leave work, but don't schedule appointments if you don't want to put in the time. Unfortunately, we won't be back. read more

Awful. I'm from out of town and came in for a quick, no-frills manicure. Was struck by the unclean environment; flies everywhere - landing on my hands and the staff while they were working. Tools were rusted. Worst part? The male technician cut my thumbnail so short it started bleeding. I was in a good bit of pain and the guy didn't seem to give it a second thought. He poured some sort of antiseptic (from an old bottle) on it and tried to keep going. I should have walked out right then but a female tech took over after this (and after I insisted on washing my hands with antibacterial soap - hope I do not get an infection). She did a sloppy job with the paint application and filing. I feel like I had pretty low standards and this place was atrocious. I cannot believe this kind of establishment is able to stay open in Rhinebeck. AVOID at all costs. read more

Lili Nails has been part of the community for a long time. I've tried other places in the past but Lili Nails is the only place I will go for a pedi. This family owned/operated salon has prices that compare with other salons. They are far more skilled than any other salon I've been to. It's also nice seeing friends and neighbors whenever I go. It's a small town salon that treats their customers well. Highly recommend. read more

Pretty crummy! Surprised that a tony town like Rhinebeck doesn't have a more high end nail salon. Lily has been there for years. Prices are very reasonable but both the space and the services are below par. Cracked vinyl seats, paper towels to rest hands on instead of real towels, techs jump from client to client. The worst nail place I've ever been. Long wait and then told to come back. Who runs a business like that! And its so dirty.

After calling to make an appointment for a specific time, upon arrival, they wanted me to wait for 40 minutes. This happened twice. When I spoke up about how they lied, and why not tell me upfront how long the wait REALLY would be instead of making a fake appointment that affected my time, they only repeated over and over "so sorry".! read more

This is a small family-run salon. The pedicures are well done at a reasonable price. Their customer relations could be improved, though, as occasionally the staff are brusk and off-putting. At times they take you right away and at other times they'll make you wait for as long as half an hour, even if you have made an appointment. read more
