I keep trying to like this place because it's near my apartment. They've never been friendly but I thought Coco did a nice job. The prices keep changing. It seems they charge different people different prices. My friend paid one price. They charged me a different price for the same manicure. Yesterday I called to ask if I could make my appointment with Coco a little later they said she wasn't coming in at all. Ok. Glad I called and they switched my appointment to today at 10. This is a nice, clean nail salon with lots of stations for nail and pedicure, I believe they also have other services such as facial, wax, and massage. Very close to Northern Dutchess Hospital. I came here for a quick pedicure on a Monday afternoon and the place only had a handful of customers. It's own by Chinese people and they don't speak English too well, but lucky me, I speak Chinese! The standard pedicure is $28, then you can upgrade from there by using premium polish, added treatment, etc. The seats for pedicure are massage chairs so make sure you use it! Standard pedicure includes soak, cut, exfoliate, massage, and nail polish. I was happy with the service, nothing to rave about but definitely a good place for reasonable salon service. I think this is a solid 3.5 Star place, but a bit below 4 stars. It would be better if the service is cheaper. You can get coupon by signing up for an app (I didn't bother) and you can also join their reward program (free) and collect 250 points = $10 off service. $1=1 point, but you collect double points if you pay by cash. I had a gift card, so I decided to get a pedicure before I went on vacation. I got a young man to do my pedicure. He was very rough and cut three of my toe cuticles. He put some stuff on my bleeding cuticles which when it dried didn't look very nice and there was no nail polish on that area. My pedicure didn't look very nice for my vacation. The young man was always rushing and watching the front door to see who was coming in. I walked away with throbbing feet and a bad taste in my mouth for this place. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone! I am just hoping that I don't get an infection from the cuts. read more

So the massage I had here was one of the best I've ever had. I wish I remembered the woman's name but she was such a pro - felt amazing for days after. The manicures and pedicures I've had here have been good- nothing crazy fancy but they do a good job. I took my kid once and they were very sweet and kind with him. The one time I got a wax was laughably bad. I asked the woman to clean it up a few times, and she was very nice and did it again, but when I got home I had to pluck out a ton of hairs myself. Everyone here is lovely but I might just not choose this place for waxing. AND would highly highly recommend for massage! read more

I've had my nails done here a few times, mostly because it's around the corner from my house and it's convenient. Each time I'm more disappointed than the last. This manicure pictured is from yesterday. My pedicure is even worse. So thick, the sides of my nails aren't even painted, did not trim my cuticles or clean under my nails and the prices are very high. I will gladly be driving across the bridge for much cheaper and much more attention to detail from now on. read more

I went here for a simple manicure. First it was $18 for regular nail polish, okay, fine, kind of expensive but whatever. The woman who did my nails made five of my fingers bleed, not a little bit but my cuticles were filled with blood. She put on some stuff to stop the bleeding without saying anything about it. Then took a file and ran it over my bleeding cuticles. It hurt SO badly. Then someone else came in for a pedicure. She stopped doing my nails and did the pedicure. The woman at the front desk came over to finish them. Talked into a headset the whole time which was weird, but whatever, and only put one coat of polish on my fingers. The paint is completely see through. I didn't do anything special that would damage them today and one already started to chip away at the bed. I wasn't planning on reviewing at all, just saving myself the agony of another trip there, but my fingers are aching and hot to the touch. I honestly couldn't imagine a worse experience for a simple manicure. read more

EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED. GOING DOWN HILL FAST. I am have been going here for years now. Stopped by this evening for a upper lip wax. I was embarrassed and very disappointed with the service. I walked in to a yelling match between two nail technicians and a customer. One of the technicians 18 month old daughter was running around touching the equipment and chemicals (like toddlers do) and being yelled at by other technicians. Technicians doing other people nails. When I was finally approached and they were ready for me a technicians told me to sit in a nail chair and proceeded to waxed me in front of everyone. I have been getting waxed there for years also. It happened so fast I was so embarrassed. No lotion to clean up the area. No wiping off the extra wax. No cooling lotion after. What happened to putting me in the wax room. It was AWEFUL. Will not be returning. I called ahead and they said they had time for me so I went, thinking it was a good place. Immediately, I was taken to the back and the lady who was doing my nails was just sitting on her phone for a good 10 minutes, not acknowledging me at all. The place where I was sat looked dirty too. When she started my nails there was barely any prep, all I got was bleeding cuticles. The acrylic was laid thick and uneven, I expected it to get filed out but that was not the case. She painted over my nails so thin and just rushed me out. The polish was nicked multiple times and she did not fix it. I was sitting under a nail dryer for 30 mins while she was telling me "4 more minutes" and having me turn it on myself. It's been about a week and most the nails have already fallen off. My aunt got a manicure done and her tech was so sweet and efficient. Definitely wouldn't recommend the lady that did my nails. For 70$ I expected a lot better. read more
