I have a decent black and white laser printer at home for any of my normal printing needs, it's cheap, fast, and gets the job done. But I needed to send in an important application for my daughter, and a normal humdrum b&w page wouldn't cut it. I created a nice color PDF and asked Aiea copy how much it would be to make a couple color copies of it on better than normal paper, and I needed it the same day. Was it cheap? Not especially, but the quality was fantastic, and I didn't have to spend money on a new color printer just for the rare instance of me needing to print in color. Friday morning at 9am, I was making finishing touches with paint to my daughter's graduation sign. It was perfect; her dad had mounted it on white PVC pipe, we had decorated it with ribbon and lights. After I finished with the paint, my heart sank as I saw I had unknowingly splattered white paint on my daughters face! I was mortified and in a panic. It was dry, I couldn't remove it with moist paper towel or light scraping. After a pause of OMG what have I done and some hyperventilating, I remembered a coworker mentioning Aiea Copy. I looked for my artwork, I searched Aiea Copy and called them at 9:20 in a panic. Ceslie answered the phone. I could barely explain but she was very calm and helpful. I needed a RUSH print, and it was oversized 20x30. She told me to send it to their email and she was very prompt with calling me back right away to go over prices, rush charge, materials, and that my file was good. She called back at 10:50am to let me know it was ready for pick up. WHAT A RELIEF. I picked it up at 12:30. The print was PERFECT, trimmed to the exact size I ordered and I spray glued that on top of the ruined print and was good to go. I cannot tell you how relieved I was! I ask the female employee if, I can re do it before they print it out she said NO and she needs an answer right there and then why would, I pay something with my own money that gonna be blurry. So my band wanted to make stickers for our show that was the next day. I call and I was able to get a very reasonable quote over the phone. Their turn around time of completing your order is usually about a day but they have an option for a small additional fee to expedite the process. They also offered to cut the stickers for a small additional fee as well; however, I decided not to go with either of those options. As soon as I got off the phone, all I had to do was email my images, the size of each sticker and the quantity. I was nervous of whether my images had a good resolution or if it might end up pixelated. But the person I spoke to reassured me that because of the smaller size, it will be fine. I did voice my concern of it being done in time for my show as the estimated time was 6pm the next day (cutting it close to the time of when the show starts). I was very pleased to have received a call only a few hours after, letting me know that my stickers were done and ready for pick up. As much as I wanted to pick them up, I told them I'll be there early the next day when they open to pick it up. The next day, I went in, paid for my order and received the stickers. It wasn't until I home that I got to take a look at it because I needed to cut it (it was on a poster sheet). The images looked perfect! I couldn't have been more happy! I should have paid the extra fee to get it cut up though as it was definitely tedious to cut them out myself. We distributed the stickers at our show and it definitely made a positive impact! Wow, I am so impressed with them, I just had to write this review right away. I wanted a banner for my son's party and I was looking at UPS. But their website said you need to schedule a "consultation" with a printing person and calling sent me to a corporate office. They just made it seem like a daunting process. My mom suggested Aiea copy, which she used years ago for her business. I was really hopping it was still good since she retired a while ago. I called and the person who answered was super clear on their very simple process to get a banner. I emailed them the file I wanted and they emailed back really quickly. We worked out size, grommets etc all over email within a day and the next day I received a call that my banner was ready. It is absolutely perfect and exactly what I envisioned. I am so happy I found someplace that can do this really efficiently with no fuss and absolutely plan to continue to use them. Came here twice already. I was in charge of the election committee at my job and was looking around for a print store to help me out with making ballots and getting the right sized envelopes to mail everything. I've never done this kind of process ever before so this was a good experience. Aiea Copy Center made my job really easy. I spoke/dealt with a few staff members (sorry, forgot their names) over the phone and they gave me the easiest instructions and guided me through the whole process. They broke down the specifics and gave me an estimate. All I had to do was send an email with what I wanted, how many, to include your "print ready" document so they have a template of what you want printed. They'd then reply how much it would cost and when I can pick it up. I must've made a total of about less than 400 each for ballots, instructions, and 3 different sized envelopes to include pre-stamped address for me. They were fast making my order. It literally was ready to be picked up less than a few hours after my order was put in. My order was waaay cheaper than I thought. I must've spent roughly less than $250. They offer other services, but this review was based on specifically the ballot order that I had. It looks like they do banners, posters, etc. There's a huge parking lot shared with other establishments. This store is located under the Aiea Bowl next to Roast Duck Kitchen. Tucked away in the corner of the Shopping Center second floor, past McDs and Roast Duck Kitchen, is a hopping busy print shop called Aiea Copy Center. For quite some time I thought they were another Kinkos where you go to print, copy & collate paper for office or business meetings, church functions or school projects. I'm sure they actually do all that but I was so surprised when I needed some cards printed and walked into the business. Wow, there's a lot going on here! Apparently I'm the only one who was wrong about a copy shop because these guys are doing it all. Giant banners, giant pictures, booklets and pamphlets, photos and helpful staff to get you in and out. If you have what you need already set up in a saved file they will start with that or if you are starting with a vague idea they can work with that too. I'm more on the vague idea side so when I walked in and told them what I wanted they drew it up, asked for my approval and made it happen by the next afternoon. Aiea Copy meets a lot of a person needs for printing. Location is in the Aiea Shopping center's 2nd floor. I like to park on the 1st floor and take the escalator up. Wow! I had no idea how big this place has grown to! Actually I had never had a reason to go before but I know it because it has always been around. It was the first place I thought of when I had a printing need and boy am I glad. I didn't even realize they had such high ratings until I was nearly done with my whole experience and went to check in. We created a script sheet which was personalized (I designed and they advised), cut, and perforated on cardstock for use on games and activities at our event.
