Three days later, Monday at 430pm, Fed Ex Tracking still showed my package at Aim Mail Center. Upon calling, I was told that I arrived on Friday after Fed Ex did their last pick up and that delivery service and time of delivery is "not guaranteed", Even when printed on your receipt. According to the Fed Ex website, today, Monday at 437pm Aim still has my package, so it is difficult to believe that I missed the last pick up on Friday. The lack of transparency and honesty when dealing with customers here is unfortunate. I will reconsider using them in the future and go to the other Mail Center located on S. Palm Canyon.

I was told yes, and that I could get a whole sheet of "air pillows" for a dollar or a couple bucks. That sounded reasonable. Then I come to this location and somehow it's $11 for "air pillows." That is not a small difference. That feels like a completely random, arbitrary price. And just to be clear, I'm not buying "air pillows" for no reason. I'm traveling with two large duffel bags and if you don't fill them out properly they get ripped apart by baggage handlers. These are brand new expedition duffels from Patagonia and The North Face and this is going to be their virgin journey through the system. I'm not about to overpack with heavy items and go overweight just to protect the bags. "Air pillows" are the smart solution. So I knew exactly what I needed and roughly what "air pillows" should cost. Being charged $11 for "air pillows," something that is usually a low cost packing material, just doesn't make any sense.

They are professional, patient, efficient, and genuinely kind -- which is not something you can always count on when you are dealing with shipping, paperwork, deadlines, and packages that actually matter. This particular location has been a huge help to me, especially with important overnight shipments that need to be handled correctly and held safely. Living in the Coachella Valley, heat is a very real concern, so having a UPS Store that is reliable, organized, and consistent makes a massive difference. CJ deserves specific recognition. He is exactly the kind of employee who keeps customers coming back. He is helpful without being dismissive, calm under pressure, and clearly cares about doing the job right. The rest of the staff has also been excellent every time I have been there. To management or ownership: please recognize this team. Whether that means a raise, bonus, customer appreciation award, or some kind of acknowledgment, they have absolutely earned it. With no urgency, came over and asked for ID which was already on table along with document notary section. Asked me what the document was, I turned to first page, for him, so he could read it and he told me to read it to him. Perplexed I said "you can read, can't you?".....being that I too have been a notary for over 24 years and never once have I ever required a signer to tell me the name of the document! As far as I know, that's not a requirement to notarize. He didn't like my comment and said he would not do the notary for me. All I know is that he must be on a power trip or something and that my opinion of UPS stores in general has been solidified by disappointment. I am acutely aware of the notary requirements in the state of california. I don't need you, to try and "school" me on the do's and dont's and apparently it is crystal clear why your employee is as they are because they must have learned from you. Courtesy and communication are key in doing a notary of which your employee had none. Mask my review with regurgitated notary handbook verbiage all you want. It doesn't make your store or its employees any better than I originally stated.
