Great first experience! Didn't have to wait too long even though they are really busy. Really nice…read morestaff & good affordable braces prices.

I went to this Orthodontist back in May and payed over $200 to reattach a detached metal retainer…read more Note that it did not break, the glue just detached from my tooth on one side. I was first quoted around $100 to reattach the retainer but then was charged over $200 because they took pictures of my teeth, which I never wanted. I just needed my retainer attached. Once they reattached my retainer, I told them that I was unable to completely close my jaw because the retainer had been reattached too low to where it was previously. They refused to redo it and kept telling me that I was able to fully close my jaw. Note: I have had my retainer attached with no problems for over 12 years, so you think I would notice if sometime is not right with it. After about 10 minutes of being gaslighted into thinking I was imagining things, I left. I ended up having a panic attack on my way home because of the discomfort. Every time I closed my jaw, my bottom teeth would hit the top retainer they had reattached incorrectly. I ended up calling them back crying and begging for them to redo it. I went back in and they finally saw where my bottom tooth was hitting the retainer and reattached it properly. Or so I thought. Here I am six months later and it has popped off again. They didn't reattach it properly, they just drilled off the glue to the point where it would allow me to close my jaw, making the point of contact weaker. Now I will have to find another orthodontist just to reattach it again. I have never in the 12 years of having a top and bottom retainer had to reattach it before this event. Save yourself the trouble of being told your discomfort isn't real and find yourself an orthodontist group that cares.

Both molars are slanted now so they hit my bottom molars hard, part of my molar broke off from it. There are drill marks all over my teeth, craze lines were left on almost all my teeth from removal and I'm told one might be a crack in my front tooth. The front tooth has been buring for 6 months and no pain ever on the tooth before. Almost 6 months later I'm still living with pain from having these braces, I was told I wasn't getting a refund when I didn't even ask. I wanted him to fix what he did. Go to a few consults before deciding who puts braces on you because the best reviews don't always mean they are the best for you. I tried to give them a chance but was given attitude after attitude. My husband and I felt like we were being treated as if we were beneath him and my concerns did not matter. I was told different information during and after treatment, it just never stayed the same when I had issues with the outcome of my teeth. I should have went with Ortega orthodontics since they were my first choice but last min had a consult with Brown and decide the drive would be easier. I made the wrong decision and regret it everyday and it's affecting my daily life.

Our son is 7 weeks old and had upper lip, tongue and bilateral cheek/ buccal ties. This was a 1.5…read morehour drive each way for us from Gainesville but we heard great things about Dr. Gary from a friend who had her daughter's frenulectomy done here a few years prior. I am grateful we were able to be worked in after I called as I filled out a new patient packet a few weeks prior and then again the day before. I was promised a call back and we were able to go in for a same week appointment as they had a cancellation. Once we arrived, we checked in and filled out the new patient pack and were taken back within 15 mins of our appt time. Dr. Gary was able to explain the procedure to us and aftercare/ what to expect. Topical analgesia was applied and he was swaddled and then the procedure performed in less than 5 minutes with dad and I able to stay in the room which we chose to do. We then went to a room to feed/ nurse after. The practice is very busy so we waited about 45 mins after the procedure to see Dr. Gary again before paying and leaving. I am glad we were able to have the procedure performed while he is still this little. The CO2 laser makes this quick and with very minimal post-op issues at all! Unfortunately, I don't know that I have seen a drastic difference in baby's ability to feed and some of the issues I was concerned about but we are 24 hours after. That is nothing against the procedure or Dr. Gary though! Every baby/ child will have different results. I will also say that of no fault to the practice, they cannot bill major medical so if you do not have dental insurance, you can request a form with appropriate ICD 10 codes to submit your insurance yourself. It was a little over $600 for the evaluation and all 4 ties. If you have questions concerning finances, I'd recommend calling the office as they were very transparent and helped to make that process very easy. We chose to do all 4 that day and cash pay as no dental insurance for our baby yet. I definitely do recommend Dr. Gary And the practice as a whole. Pain control four hours after was difficult so I would recommend Being proactive with medicating. They do give you recommendations for homeopathic options with your discharge planning. One recommendation would be to provide that in an email prior to the appointment so parents could plan ahead to buy those options rather than have to go to the store or wait for online orders. Additionally, Dr. Gary was very informative on educating how to perform exercise/stretching and even offered an appointment for follow up in one week for a recheck if needed. Given that it is a long drive each way and the exercise exercises seems straightforward to me, we will likely not return, but I can see that this would be beneficial for parents with concerns. If your child has a lip, tongue or cheek tie, I would absolutely recommend sooner evaluation and seeing Dr. Gary.

Absolutely unacceptable experience. This office refused to verify my dental insurance before my…read morechild's appointment for whatever reason and insisted I pay the full amount out-of-pocket with the promise I'd be reimbursed once they submitted the claim. I trusted them and that was a mistake. On numerous separate occasions, they have verified that they do in fact owe me money and "will figure out a way to reimburse you whether that be in the form of a credit on your account or a written check". Not only was I never reimbursed, but after 2.5 YEARS of follow-up regarding this matter and mentioning it at every single appointment, they are now telling me they're "unable" to refund me at all. This was their mistake, and now I'm stuck paying for something insurance should have covered. It's incredibly frustrating, dishonest, and shows a complete lack of accountability. Parents should not have to fight to get their money back, especially when the error was on the office's part. Be very cautious if you choose to bring your child here, and do not agree to pay out-of-pocket unless you have proof in writing that you'll be reimbursed.
