Mark of Excellence is Lennox Certified and provides the documentation needed for Lennox to honor their warranty if work is needed. So many service Providers do not have the proper manufacturer certifications needed to keep factory warranties effective. They did a very thorough job inspecting both units & cleaning the units outside as well as the unit in the attic. All this work was done a t a fair price. I shopped 3 other Lennox Providers that had very expensive maintenance programs. We did sign up for the twice-a-year service program as well.

Contacted this company to fix my air conditioner as it was blowing hot air, was told the capacitor…read moreneeded to be replaced on my unit. They came out and changed it without telling me what the price was before installing the capacitor, they installed it and came back with a price of $300 stated the whole unit will eventually need replacing as it's making a loud noise calling me $7500. Told him we will look at that when the time comes. I paid them, depressed the acid for requested a receipt after paying them. After they left, I had messaged Rudy about sending me a hand written receipt, showing what was being charged stated that he would send me a receipt by the end of the day three days later message to get about getting a receipt. Seat. Still no receipt of what was being done or what was charged for what. I know the fact the capacitors don't cost that much on Amazon. They are only $20 so $300 how much was a capacitor how much was a service call still was not given me a real receipt for my payment. I cannot recommend this company as they are not professional they were almost an hour late to my appointment. No phone call letting me know that they would be late in the future. I will look for somebody on Thumbtack because this company is not professional, do not recommend.

My AC was about 18 years old (purchased home 5 years ago)…read more It was still trucking along but wasn't cooling as much as I wanted now that the heat was starting to come. I contacted hero based on their reviews & I was not disappointed. I was able to schedule an app within the week & Thomas the tech came by & was able to give me an honest opinion on my unit. It was low on coolant & I had a leak up in the attic that thankfully did not travel and damage the house. Since my unit was old they no longer make coolant for it & parts would have been just as much to replace as a brand new unit. So I opted for a new unit, didn't feel any pressure by them & the next day I was happy that they came and installed it in less than 3 hours. The team was amazing & my house has never felt better now that the heat is here. I highly recommend Hero They were so accommodating even helping with my dogs while I was at work. Such kind and honest people! They even offer financing if you do not want to pay upfront. Thanks so much everyone at Hero.

Juan saved the day on October 20, 2023! We arrived at our winter home on a very, very hot day on…read moreOctober 19, 2023. We suspected there was trouble with the A/C by the morning of the 20th. However, we were unable to call anyone till mid afternoon on the 20th due to previous commitments. To our amazement, Juan was able to come very quickly, diagnose the problem, give us the bad news as to what needed fixed, along with an estimate of the cost to fix it. When we asked how long we would have to wait to have it fixed, assuming parts would need to be ordered, etc., imagine our joy when he told us he could fix it right now! So within about 2 hours of us calling Desert Sun, our A/C was up & running like new! We were very, very happy! Thank you Desert Sun & Thank You, Juan!

8/30/2022 Terrible…read moremanagement. Isaac was completely unresponsive from the start. Isaac was disinterested when he came to our house and acted as if we were putting him out by getting a quote. I had to follow up with him several times just to get scheduled. They started on a Thursday and couldn't complete until the following Monday which we were made aware of. They did not properly hook our existing system back up on Thursday and did not have any AC Thursday night. We had to call Friday to have a tech come back out just to have AC for the weekend. During the install on Monday, a tech fell through the ceiling. Understood that accidents happen, but Isaac didn't care at all when I reported it to him. I called the office and spoke with Jonathan. He didn't care and said Isaac is a manager and will take care of it. I then talked to Joe (claimed to be the owner). Extremely rude and also didn't care about the situation. They left the hole open for 4 hours which allowed blowing dust, debris, insulation and 100 degree heat to constantly blow in. We had to throw away multiple items due to damage and had to clean the entire house that night. Also had very shoddy installation. Most of the registers are cut in crooked and other than 2 techs, their labor force was unskilled and provided terrible workmanship.
