I'm not the typical reviewer... but I saw the work of the "pro business bashers," and wanted to…read morechime in. "The only one who gets tackled is the one holding the ball." Harry and crew earned my business. My first meeting was when I was visiting Omaha from Miami Beach. Difficult issue came up... I used another shop that I had used before several times ( who always claimed something major needed replaced and always ended up $1800 ). When they quoted me $1800 (again), they said it was for a worn out part - problem was it was something they were supposed to have fixed the last time. A friend gave me the name/number and I called Harry and met him. Firstly, he's got a great work manner. He explained what the issue was - gave options - had it done and covered and under $300. Then I got the surprise. Harry showed me each of the items that were supposed to have been replaced - the original parts were still there. No idea what the real issue was I still drive great distances, my base is now Omaha and Miami Beach, but I see to it that my cars visit Harry for exams. Many would find something so that repairs are needed. Harry, has found tiny things and just straightened no charge. I trust these people and I've sent others who have shared in my experience. The people at 2 Men And A Shop are fair, friendly, fast... Best in Omaha for repairs. I've driven their loaner cars while my van was being fixed. Perfect. So screw the net trolls. Christian B.

Cannot recommend I took a Ford Edge there for a second…read moreopinion on a transmission issue. Was showing codes P0720 and P2270. Called and dropped off on a Friday. Didn't hear anything Monday or Tuesday so I called Wednesday for a status. Receptionist was nice and told me he was about to look at it and should hear something by EOD. Nothing. Thursday called again and was again told he was looking at it and would get back to me. 3pm Friday got a call from the mechanic and was told they could find anything wrong with the transmission. There was an O2 sensor and a random engine misfire(known from last mechanic) Was basically told "I don't know what to tell you". I had done my own research and found that this model has a known issue with the OSS and TSS sensor. He said without the code showing him he wasn't confident. I said I had pictures of the codes and a video of the incident to support my point. After a few attempts I finally got him to agree to replace the sensors. Then find out there was damage to the transmission cover (not previously advised) and that only the OSS could be replaced. I was ticked obviously. Went to pick it up and again argued with the same mechanic about giving me a detailed report on what they did and didn't do. Also why they should maybe give customers a call if their vehicle is going to sit for a week. Go to Jensen Diagnostic (not Jensen Tire) they give you a very detailed and honest report on your vehicle. 2 stars only because they didn't mark up the OSS cost too much.

I made an appointment with Auto-TransMatic (ATM) on July 2nd to get a transmission issue fixed…read more When the torque lock up was engaged, the transmission couldn't hold 4th gear. It took over a week before it was even looked at. And after weeks, I paid $770 and took the car only to bring it right back because it was still broke. Same complaint. After two months the car was finally done. $1372. and I have exhaust leaks, an engine that ticks, and no gasoline. -Collector gaskets. Immediately when I picked up the car the second time, I could hear an exhaust leak and ticking sound. Collector bolts were removed and the old gaskets were re-used. This caused the: -Exhaust to hit the leaf springs and fender. The collectors kept the exhaust inline so it would not rub the quarter panel or leaf springs. -Starter falling out. When I got home, I needed to move the tractor. I could not start the car because the starter was grinding. The bolts were very loose. -Adjusting valves I continued to look for the ticking noise. I removed the valve covers and adjusted the rocket arms. This did not fix the ticking noise. I pushed the distributor cap and it sat back in place and the noise stopped. -Over 5 gallons fuel missing. The car usually gets 10-12 mpg but with ATM, it got 6, meaning fuel had to be siphoned from the gas tank. When I left ATM, I went to fill up. I added almost 14 gallons to an 18 gallon tank. ATM added 4 more. Where did the gas go? Was the car even safe where it had been parked these 2 months? -Distributor cap and rotor. The engine was not supported when the transmission was removed. Instead, it rested against the new distributor, causing a ticking sound and damage to the cap and rotor So, I spent 4 hours replacing the collector gaskets and lining up the exhaust. Adjusting rocker arms trying to fix the ticking sound. Replacing the distributor cap and rotor. Getting the starter installed properly. -Cap and rotor $40 -Collector gaskets $25 -Valve covers gaskets $25 -Four hours labor and parts pickup I would not recommend using this company.
