The crew was on time and efficient, described the process, conducted the survey and shared the results immediately. A pre-sale home inspection detected major problems with my heating and ac ducts, including one that appeared to require cutting the slab to repair. Marvin and his crew re-assesed the situation from the video and made a quote. Marvin then came to the home to verify what he saw on the video. It turns out that although major work was still required, no slab cutting was necessary and they actually completed the job almost $1,000 Under-budget! The owner was very informative and answered my many many questions. My air ducks were especially bad and had much debris and dust and unfortunately rodent droppings. I wanted to make sure that this company offered a thorough cleaning and not just blowing around dust in the vents. They sent two workers out to complete the job and they arrived early and got all set up. You could tell these guys worked as a team many times before they were very organized and efficient. They brought in a very large vacuum unit and cleaned the vents with that. Then they brought in a large shop vac and cleaned the vents with that as well. One of the workers took out a camera to look down each vent to make sure all was clear and the job was done correctly. As they were cleaning up they even asked if they could clean some mud that Had gotten on my floor. Unfortunately it was snowing and there was a lot of mud in my yard. I thought that was a nice touch. We paid a lot of money for Air Duct Medic to clean and seal the holes in our vents. The seal fell off and didn't work, allowing a mildew smell to circulate in our home. When I questioned the owner about his work, he got defensive and started screaming at me on the phone. When my husband took over the conversation, the owner immediately stopped yelling and acted nice again. Expensive, unprofessional, and the work they did was useless. read more

I've scheduled the service twice, and, both times, the owner called me back to cancel. I guess they get one star for calling to cancel instead o leaving me hanging totally, but they cancelled just a little before the scheduled time, so I missed work each time. I am very happy with the professionalism and thorough cleaning of my air ducts that Air Duct Medic did for me. I even called at the last minute on a Friday morning, asking if they could clean my ducts today. Since they had a cancellation, I was given an appointment for 3pm. The "Duct Medics" showed up at 3 pm and promptly got to work. They even wiped down every one of my ducts and vacuumed around the area where the ducts may have left some dirt on the floor (my ducts are in the ceiling). Lastly, they climbed into my crawl space to clean the furnace. I was very happy with that. They also covered any furniture that may get dirty with a sheet. Very nice. Very thorough. I bought a house in Albuquerque, and the inspections identified the need to update the house's air ducts. The owner was initially very helpful in explaining the needed work and the cost. Once committed, the owner kept pushing the dates of the work for for a month right into move in day. We agreed that the work would be done 2 days prior to move in. I discovered that the work was not complete and the furnace was taken apart. This was a Friday in early December. The owner did not return my calls and I had no heat until my real estate paid for a HVAC company to put my furnace back in working order. The owner returned the call on Tuesday and sent a furnace person to check on the furnace. The owner misrepresented the costs of the work as well as the cost of the furnace repair person. I would not recommend the Air Duct Medic to anyone who wants good, polite service at an agreed upon price. read more
