Fortunately we hadn't had any issues with it but we thought it would be best to get it replaced BEFORE we had problems. Nick came to our house on Monday and checked out our old furnace... gave me a quote... and by Friday morning (today) we have a brand new furnace installed. I barely noticed they were going in and out of the house, despite the fact that they had to maneuver around 2 dogs to get in and out the door. We had a new AC unit replaced two years ago, they were very fast to install the new unit, but after…read morethat, service has been terrible, the unit had problem since the beginning, on and off every a few minutes, I recorded, and showed to them, took them long time to come to look at, found out problem because of installation, problem solved. Unit runs great, for the sake of the warranty, we decided to still hire them for maintenances, this year a young tech came to check out unit, found out refrigerant low, so thought about maybe the cold temperature, so he came back in a hot day, still low refrigerant, he told me there is not possible for a two year old new AC , he said he had to call experienced tech with more tool to check out, since that, no one responds to me, after a dozen times to make a schedule, still no one come, the desk receptionist is terrible to answer to phone call and schedule. The owner and tech there seems like very nice people, especially Daniel. I just do not know what happens to them, lack of management? too much demand? or just careless.

Churchill was too backed up to come out right away. Called another company. Had a coil leak. Unit was under warranty so only labor and consumables would be charged. Other company wanted over $2,600. Decided to wait until Churchill could work us in. I estimated it would take 2 or 3 people half a day at least. Steve did it in less than 2 hours at a small fraction of the quoted cost. Churchill is busy for a reason. They're good and they're efficient.

Thea, the owner / service manager, came out to inspect our AC system and immediately noticed something dangerous: the previous installer had set up the outdoor disconnect without a fuse, which is a major safety issue. Because of that, the wiring had burned and nearly made its way into the house. T patiently explained everything to me--what went wrong, why it was dangerous, and what the proper setup should be. He recommended replacing the disconnect with a fused version, and clearly laid out the potential risks and what to expect. When we turned the system back on, we were holding our breath... and to our relief, the 10-year-old compressor kicked on just fine. T could have easily told me I needed a whole new unit, but instead, he was honest, transparent, and incredibly knowledgeable. I even looked up everything he explained afterward--and it all checked out. By the way, the communication was excellent--I reached out through Yelp and was kept in the loop with email reminders and messaging right through the app. Everything felt smooth and professional from start to finish. In the attached photos, you can see the burnt wiring and connector from before, and the new fused disconnect they installed. The difference is night and day. If you want HVAC work done right, by people who take the time to do things safely and explain them clearly, TC HVAC Services is the team to call.
