Jim came to our home to give an estimate to replace our 31 year old heating/cooling unit. This would be our third estimate, the. We planned to decide which company to use. The first two companies to give us estimates did just that - a sales pitch and quoted between $10,000 and $14,000 for a 14 SEER unit. After looking at our unit, Jim said "I think I can fix your unit. I'm thinking it is just the fan motor. Want me to try?" I said Sure! thinking with the estimates we'd gotten what could it hurt. Sure enough, Jim replaced the fan motor and two capacitors & had the unit running in about 30 minutes. We then opted for a service cleaning as well. I have essentially never had anyone do any work on my HVAC in the past 3 years. Yes, yes came highly recommended from coworkers. Once they were actually able to schedule me for my Fall tune up , they did not disappoint me. The technician spent at least 2 hours in my home meticulously inspecting the unit Inside and out. He also spent some time explaining some things to me. He replaced a capacitor, added some freon, and tweaked some shoddy workmanship that was done prior year's. The final bill was a little more than I expected but in the end I can't complain. read more

Great, helpful and on time. Gave helpful tips about the HVAC unit. Took the timecto explain what is being done and how to keep unit working. The up front cost for a unit check seems high, but they check heating and air, so they only need to come out once a year. A/C died around 5'ishpm on wednesday July 2nd. Googled HVAC Stafford VA and called around. I got in touch with several places, they either charged too much just to come out or the person on the phone had an attitude. Called "Yes, Yes" and the woman who answered the phone was about to leave for the day. She had already powered off her PC... I don't know many people who would have taken that call. Set up an appointment for the next day. The guy showed up and was very friendly, really knew his stuff and even taught me how to care for the unit so it would last a lot longer. read more

I was given several options for repair; from the temporary fix, small part fix, or large repair. No secrets or the issue or problem, and they did not attempt to sell us services or maintenance plans. Honest price for a honest fix. We were quoted a very competitive price. Beat the competition by a good margin. Yes Yes ordered the parts and arrived at our house on the date and hour they said they would be here. Not only did they install the new unit, they clean tuned and fix up the outside unit, gave my wife and I full rundown of the system, and handled the warranty registration for us. My a/c upstairs is not working. My neighbor called them with the same problem and hasn't used them in years. But they came out and fixed the problem. Sadly, I have service call disappointment to share. Our home is experiencing HVAC issues. Considering this sort of repair requires highly skilled individuals, we asked friends and neighbors whom they refer should such a repair required. Our very kind neighbor let us know he uses Yes Yes and is quite happy with their service. A service call was placed and soon a team of two came out to look at our system. My husband was there to show them around. Being an inquisitive chap, he also had questions as they were reviewing the system. Asking them things like, how do you check for this? Or what is the reasoning behind that? All quite reasonable questions that seem quite natural coming from a home owner; the person that owns the space the service team was assessing. The estimate came quite promptly after. The quote to have an estimate done was $125 however when the actual estimate arrived that figure was increased to $175 (apparently the service team took it upon themselves to perform additional research that involved a $50 charge without letting my husband know of the increase). It was expected that the estimate would be costly. It did not fall short of our expectation however, what happened quickly afterward was shocking. My husband sent an email requesting a copy of "proof of insurance" and in response received an email from the owner of the company retracting the estimate and waiving the estimate charge. The owner commented that his crew decided that it would be best if they didn't do the service at our home because "we are not the kind of customer they would like to work with." It is one of the strangest things I have ever heard. I guess their business is doing well and, well, good for them. Still, can't help but feel it was shady. Does their business model revolve around discrimination? Can't truly say. Something to think about though. If any of you, reading this review, are in need of HVAC work and are considering Yes Yes, I sincerely hope you will reconsider and perhaps take your business elsewhere. If you are deemed worthy of their service, under no circumstances ask a single question. You may also be shunned and told they don't like your kind either. Good luck!! read more
