The heater wasn't producing enough heat during a time when the temperatures were really starting to go down. I thought it was due to wiring issues on my ecobee system. A tech came out, looked at the wiring, and proceeded to work on the system down stairs. Apparently it was due to the refrigerant being low. Had no idea, that refrigerant was needed to produce heat. All in all, it was fixed and was done quickly. Not sure how the price compares but I think it was fair.

I used a highly rated company (C1) found on Yelp in the spring to turn on my boiler. They…read morecouldn't. They told me that I had to have the gas company to turn the gas on. They also charged me for cleaning. When the heating season came, I had the gas turned on, I called C1 again to get my boiler turned on. They still couldn't bug quitedc me to replace both valves for $4k or get a new boiler for $8500. OHA was the second company came to give me a diagnostic. Mr Bryan discovered that the water pipes were completely empty and found a spot on the radiator where the pipes were disconnected. No wonder the boiler won't turn on! However, OHA doesn't repair radiator pipes so he left me this valuable information without charging me a penny! I found a 3rd company came to repair the valves and saved thousands from the 1st company. Forever thankful for Mr Bryan!

Hugo is the first and only person you should call if you're experiencing any AC/furnace issues…read more Don't even waste your time calling Michael & Son or FH Furr, you're just going to pump money in their pockets so they can blow it on advertisements. I contacted Hugo at the end of summer 2016 because my AC unit wasn't providing cold air throughout my house. He came out on a day I was working from home, thoroughly inspected everything, it took him some time, and he did it for free. He was friendly, respectful, and very professional. He made suggestions, taught me a couple things about heating and cooling, then advised me purchase a new unit because the system I had was an older lower end model. He also quoted me for cost to repair my older unit, which I wanted to avoid because I knew it reached it's lifespan. He quoted me on a couple of new units, and options for investing on an AC unit with no furnace. He also suggested that I contacted his competition, which I did in the following weeks only to be disappointed. Hugo called me back about a month later, I kindly declined because it was fall and it was cooler outside. I thanked him for his service and told him that I would contact him before the spring season. The moment we had our first 60 degree day in February/March 2017, I called Hugo and asked him to quote me on the same options he provided in the fall. The previous time I spoke with him he warned me that prices usually increase yearly but I was surprised they didn't go up much, and didn't break the bank. His team scheduled the new AC/furnace installation on a day that worked with my schedule. It took awhile (which was expected) for them to complete, but they did a great job! My Dad (who taught HVAC) had cobbled together the whole system to the point where nobody wants to touch it. It obviously needs to be replaced (which we plan to do with Air Row in the spring) but in order to get through the next few months we just needed a quick service. Air Row was super responsive and come out very shortly after we called them. They evaluated the whole system (all 3 of them) and helped us make the best decision without trying to oversell us on things we didn't need.
