Miguel is honest, great to deal with and a pro! He arrived on time, checked out our situation and absolutely did NOT try to oversell me on anything!! (As others had.) He said we could replace our outside compressor & fan unit, and the existing furnace & condenser coils we had in the basement (all part of a central HVAC system) should be fine, they were in good shape. He assured he would test the entire system to check for leaks, make sure the new refrigerant was maintaining the proper pressure--and he gave us an EXCELLENT price for a new unit and installation. (Waay less than the other quotes.) A few days later, his team arrived with a brand new 30-ton highly-rated Goodman outside condenser, seamlessly installed it, and returned the next day to insure the system was working perfectly. While we haven't had any hot days (yet), on a test run the system was very quietly blowing plenty of cold air! My Soleus Air Mini Split stopped running at the height of the recent Los Angeles Heatwave and during the Labor Day weekend. I went thru a long list of local air conditioning companies, first to find a company that repaired mini splits and second to find a company that could come to my home for next day service. I was told I would have to wait 5-7 days for service, that was before I contacted California Cool. Air Tech Francisco returned my call, same day, on a Friday afternoon and he showed up on my doorstep 7:30pm Saturday night. The service call lasted 45 minutes which included instruction on how to remove the mini splits filters and clean them! I highly recommend California Cool's personable and effective service.
