While visiting Tucson over a holiday weekend, my mother's A/C died. I searched yelp for a highly rated company. I left a few messages. I was contacted by the owner of the company, they could come out the following day to take a look. I asked that they keep me in the loop with the A/C issue. They found it had frozen over and recommended a new part which would have to be ordered. It would take several days. In the meantime the technician was able to get it to blow cooler air. While waiting for the part a service manager, checked in on my mother and found that the A/C was working fine. So they canceled the service call to install the new part. So many problems with this company. They were assigned by my home warranty company to replace our HVAC. We went an entire winter without heat because it took so long. Then, when the gas company inspected it, they found multiple leaks where it was not properly sealed, so I had them out to fix that. When the gas company returned, it still had not been properly sealed. Another contractor just informed me that the entire installation was poorly done and that is why it's not properly sealed. Just totally unprofessional and shoddy work. Our home warranty authorized another company to completely re-install the furnace because it was done so poorly. They also replaced our A/C unit and screwed that up so badly that the unit immediately blew out and had to be replaced, so we went weeks in the middle of summer without AC. Absolutely avoid these guys, no idea how they have received 5-star reviews from anyone. read more

Here I am almost 2 years later and still have holes in the duct work completed by air4u (dirt coming in through the vents). The Remi halo is not working still... I have reached out to Patrick on numerous occasions to get a work order from Bill to fix these issues on a new AC install once and for all. Of course, it's been over 2 weeks at this point and I have not heard a word. Bill no longer services Tucson so all work has to be completed by a 3rd party. I never received the check from Bill for the vent cleaning that he said I would be reimbursed for. This has been an awful experience.... If you have also been affected by this company in Tucson we should talk, no one should have to go through this experience. read more

It's getting hot and start to us my HVAC again. Realizing I have to give it a review! I massively researched online and on yelp found Air4U. Because they don't charge the trip fee so tried to use for a diagnosis. The good thing here is they provide honest and transparent fees and tell you exactly what went wrong potentially. If you ask they can try to give a detailed explanation as much as I was asking several times what's wrong with my AC and how should it be fixed. They are so friendly and helpful and you know what you are charged for at a reasonable price!! No field trip fee! I want to highly recommend Brandon from the team! The company was very responsive and came out the next day to fix my mom's air conditioner, but the technician stated there's nothing wrong with the system. He tested the fan blower motor and said it was bad, then repeated the reading and showed it was okay. Just a few days later it went out again which caused our lines to freeze up since there was no air circulating. We had the parts replaced by another company. Update: They refunded our payment as stated by the response, so I believe they are an honest company and truly trying to improve. Outstanding team! I was helped by Bill and Brandon during a HVAC system inspection and Rheme Halo UV light installation. -Bill is a well of knowledge. He broke extensively broke down their large variety of services, product installation, his team's knowledge in their craft, and TRANSPARENT pricing that their locally owned company offers without coming off as pushy or rude. I had a question about their uv bulb types, Bill was VERY responsive through the Yelp app. -Brandon performed quick, professional, and satisfactory service. I had a huge tear in my HVAC duct work located up in the attic. Brandon identified and repaired the duct which could of led to large amounts of air (and money) to leak out over time. After that was patched up, he installed the Rheme Halo UV light system in a very timely manner. Very courteous and respectful. Solid work, will definitely return for service. read more

I'd give 10 stars if I could. My A/C wasn't working. and it's getting HOT! Brandon stopped by after I finished work on a Saturday! Found the problem, but didn't have the needed part on his truck. Tried to locate a fellow tech that likely had it, but couldn't reach them. Scheduled the follow up for the coming Monday. Then I get a call from Brandon the next day. That's right, Sunday. And Easter Sunday, to boot. He told me he had the part, and lived close by, so he was able to come over and do the repair. And the cost was very reasonable! Now my A/C is blowing nice and cold. I was down and out on being lied to by another company just totally trash left in the heat for two days told and told me that they were going to find out about my warranty never got back to me then when I get back to them they said oh yeah it's only about a year and they said they were going to give me another estimate never called me back I was running out of time being that I was in the middle of 93 to 105 weather changes I then was told about Cody he's from air for you let me tell you this was not changing experience for someone to come in with the amazing experience that he had enjoying what he did was amazing the couple of turns in a couple of listens he knew exactly what was going on probably save me thousands or should I say you didn't save me thousands of the point is you know exactly to the professionalism of what was going on I know a lot about A/C I just can't bend down and when he started talking about oh there it is we'll put this over here oh no there's my here oh there it is. Woke up this morning to find the AC was dead. Notified our homeowners warrantee company, , and they hooked us up with Air4U. Had a call later in the morning from the company, and they set me up an appointment for this afternoon. Brendon arrived, gave the system a good going over and concluded that it had to be the thermostat. He confirmed it by bypassing the thermostat. He had a replacement in his truck, he installed it, and we were back in business. Nice work, Air4U. Appreciate the timely help. read more

Our AC died. As we were under a home warranty contract, we had to file a claim with them first. This delayed getting service. But when AIR4U was assigned, their man Terry was out two days later. The dispatcher kept us informed of when to expect him. Because of the warranty contract, Terry had to try to repair the unit first instead of declaring it DOA. So, he did his best and told us we'd be lucky to get 2 days of cooling before it died again. But that gave us time to get some lodging elsewhere, and get started on a plan. The owner, Bill started looking right away for equipment that fit our needs and budget. We needed to replace the outside condenser unit and the inside air handler. He was thorough in explaining all my options. Once equipment was located, Bill had us scheduled for installation less than a week later. Cody, Brandon, Terry and their caddie did an excellent and clean installation. Bill showed up later to check on the job and schmooze for a bit. We appreciate schmooze. Great job by all. Even with delays caused by the warranty company, our troubles lasted less than 3 weeks. AIR4U took care of us from start to finish in less than 2 weeks once they were on the job. Considering that equipment is very scarce these days, we are impressed with the effort Bill and his crew made for us. read more
