I called around and emailed a ton of places for quotes and just went with airman bc it was the least expensive. I was pleasantly surprised that they picked me up in such a nice and super clean car. They didn't charge us extra for the car seats (which were the cleanest car seats, looked BRAND new.) the driver Jamel was so kind and helpful we had a ton of luggage and he made it work! We shuttle a ton and travel everywhere but this is the only time I've ever felt compelled to write a review bc I have never had such a good experience. I can go on and on about how clean it was (this is so often not the case esp with kids car seats I usually hate putting my kids in them!)) and the car seats were age appropriate and safe, and properly installed! If you are traveling as a family skip renting a car, Seattle has a ton of public transportation options and is a city seen well by foot. This grandma, traveling alone, was new to SEATAC and the surrounding area, so wanted a safe, reliable option for transport to visit grand babies. It did not take me long to find Airman Transportation with its well-deserved 5-star reviews. After landing, I received a text that my driver was on the way, and then again notifying me when the driver arrived. I called a given number and was told how to get to the pick-up area. I've traveled to Seattle a couple of times in the past and had always previously used Shuttle Express at SeaTac to get me to/from the airport. However, after going online to book with them again, I noticed a lot of customer complaints since my last use of their service - they had updated protocols that did not sit well as a single traveler, so I decided to try a new option. Boy am I lucky to have stumbled upon Airman Transportation Systems. After going to their website, I completed the "Request a Quote" form and received a response within 3-4 hours (there was a time zone difference happening). Once I did receive a response, the back-and-forth travel confirmation happened pretty quickly, and they assured me that I would be able to pay cash at the time of service. (If you require round trip pick-up/drop-off, just let them know in the "message" portion of that form.) My flight into Seattle was a little delayed, but I got off the plane with a text from the company letting me know the driver was on his way to pick me up - they keep track of your flights so you don't have to worry about updating them if unknown flight delays happen, they're already on top of it! The driver, Asen, sent me a text describing the vehicle he was in and the license plate number to make sure I approached the correct vehicle - excellent safety measure! On my second trip back to the airport I received the same kind of messages alerting me when the driver was on her way and when she had arrived. Both Asen and Leena were excellent, safe drivers who transported me to/from the airport in a timely manner. I booked for September 25 pick up at the airport and September 28, however I commited the mistake with the dates. When I arrived August 25th I called them, after follow all the instructions and they couldn`t find my booking but the were able to figure out I put the wrong month, September instead of August. In few minutes the lady (Leela`s mother, came to get me. She is very friendly, nice driver, comfortable car, super kind! Then I asked before to pick me up on 28 for my flight back at 5 am but I had to change to 4 am and again, she said "no problem" , and, 15 minuted before 4 am she was already there! We had an early-morning flight; the driver was on time to get us, respectful of four kids not wanting to chat, but sleep instead and I could pay via credit card right then and there. I had a great experience with Airman Transportation on a recent trip to Seattle! They were prompt, the car was spotless and they even provided a disposable mask to wear in case I needed one. They communicated with me immediately upon arrival and I waited less than five minutes to be picked up right outside my baggage claim area. A family cruise to Alaska was planned for my family of 8 coming from Burbank and San Jose starting points. Three months prior I planned on four seperate transportation times to/from Seattle SeaTac Airport for all of us plus luggage consisting of 8 of us and 1 to 2 check in bags each plus carry on. Five of us coming from one point and three from another and meeting up at SeaTac Airport. Reservations were set for a large Cadillac Suburban. My contact info of cell and email were taken and I was all set. The morning of departure from Burbank I received a text that the driver would meet all 8 of us at SeaTac airport at 10:30am. Our driver was polite, car was clean and he packed the car with all our luggage and off we went to Pier 91 where our vacation started. AIRMAN Transport had our return arrival time at Pier 91 and monitored the scheduled return to make sure he was on time to greet us when we returned. Off to our two day stay at a Seattle hotel. Again a day before the return flights to San Jose (6:00pm) and Burbank (12:00pm) I received a text that AIRMAN confirming the scheduled pick up times from the hotel. The day of leaving I again received texts that they were on their way to get us. All I can say with AIRMAN is FLAWLESS... I highly recommend AIRMAN for any of your transportation services, airport or local tour venues. read more

They aren't the cheapest service, but not far above the cheap ones. It looks to me like they try to set their prices to be the same as a taxi, but to provide better service. They responded more quickly than a couple of other highly-reviewed services over email, and unlike other services seemed to be really reading my messages and responding like a regular person (even a friendly one) to the content, rather than pasting a canned reply based on a keyword. After making a reservation I had to make a change, and they were very quick and friendly. We live well away from the city center, and needed a ride to the airport very early in the morning, and really wanted somebody we could rely on to get us there in time. Making backup plans at that hour is really difficult. Most transportation services have disturbingly low ratings and a lot of people complaining about driver no-shows. I wish Airman had more reviews, but like the ones that it has. They showed up a couple of minutes early. Driver was very polite, car was clean and roomy, drive was nice. The only thing I can think of to pick at was that driver veered out of her lane a couple of times, but traffic was light so no big deal. Finally, payment was easy. We considered taking a taxi, but when I started researching private cars, the overall cost between a taxi and private car was nearly equal. I needed a reliable ride to SeaTac at 3AM, and wasn't so sure if the local cab companies would actually show up. I called Airman the afternoon before my flight, and they promised to be there. They even reconfirmed my address and made sure they knew where to meet me before we hung up. The Airman driver was waiting for me when I got off the elevator in my building, which was a huge relief. Driver was safe and friendly, and town car was clean and comfortable. Airman is definitely worth the extra $5-$10 over a basic cab for service and reliability. Leela was great to work with! Setting up the online reservation was very easy. I had a couple of questions about extra pickups (3 stops) and she was very quick to respond to my questions. She arrived promptly to pick us up and the other 2 stops were quick and easy. When we returned to SeaTac, she remembered us from when she took us to the airport. It was like seeing an old friend! If you need a ride, I strongly suggest you don't use Airman Transportation. Long story short, they left our family, including a 1 year old stranded at the airport. I called in a week in advanced and reserved an SUV with a car seat. I called the lady upon arrival at SEA-TAC, and she said the driver would arrive soon. The driver arrived in an older SUV, with a 10 year old beaten down car seat. The driver came with the car seat uninstalled. He had no clue how to install the car seat. After loading the bags in the car, I took a look at the car seat and it was evident that it was missing the base. I called the lady again, and advised her the car seat was missing parts and impossible to install. I asked her to send another car, when she told me she wouldn't and that it was MY fault I was unable to install the car seat with the missing parts. We had just arrived to the airport with a 1 year old, and this is the last thing you want to deal with. The driver ended up taking our bags out of the car and driving off, leaving our family stranded. Do not use this company. Horrible experience. Some of our party had never used Lyft/Uber and had concerns about using them. I reached out to Airman and couldn't have been happier. Received a quote quickly. We needed a ride from the airport to our hotel, from our hotel to the pier for our cruise, and from the pier back to the airport when we returned.
