Eek! I do not recommend. I called for a quote and was immediately placed on hold. After five minutes, someone picked up the line. I explained the courier service I needed and he offered to put me back on hold. I politely pointed out I had already been on hold. He said he had no choice as there were even more customers waiting in-store. Based on my experience, they are understaffed and their customer service is underwhelming. No wonder their reviews - across all locations - are subpar. I only use Airpark Pak 'N Ship in Scottsdale, AZ, which is about 30 minutes away. Today, Dylan, exceeded my expectations as I watched him for at least 20 minutes, carefully layer my painting in different materials and corrogated sheets before he put the whole thing in a box. They specialize in shipping art, since Scottsdale features many different shows for national and international artists. Honesty? Integrity? NO!!!! I called and got a quote to ship a piece of woodworking equipment from AZ to NY. I gave dimensions and weight and was quoted $590. I arranged to borrow a truck and took the item to their office for shipment. The next day they called and said the bill would be $637.24. I said I was quoted $590. The guy on the phone couldn't explain why I had to pay an extra $47.24. I asked to talk to the manager. He said the manger (Jeffrey Gilbert) will just tell you to come pick it up if you don't like it. I asked the manger to honor his quote to me and he wouldn't. In fact Jeff obnoxiously threatened to charge me even more. I didn't feel like getting a truck and going back to retrieve the item and they got a way with taking advantage of me. Walked in with medium size car part to ship. I was quoted $80 to send it Fedex and $120 to send it USPS. The charge for the box and packing was $13. Yes that's right, $120 to thip this thing USPS! I told them no thanks. Boxed it up with a box I got from Walmart for $3 and took it to the post office right up the road on Evans rd and mailed it for $20. This place is a total rip off. read more

They offer custom boxing and crating worldwide, have a huge inventory of boxes and packing supplies, provide tracking for all (even returns), and always with a smile! Lost package, I dropped off a package for Fedex pickup and the tracking number never showed up on Fedex. When I called Airpark I was told that the box was picked up and to take it up with Fedex. I filed a claim with Fedex which was denied since the tracking number had never been scanned. When I contacted Airpark again I was told that it was not their problem since Fedex supposedly picked up the box. The fellow I spoke with offered no remedy to the problem and basically said it wasn't their problem. I told him that I had given them the box so it was their problem to figure out but he didn't seem to care. I asked him to figure out with the fedex driver what had happened and to call me back , however, I never received a call back. Luckily it was only a $42 return to Wayfair but it could've been a valuable package that just disappeared. I would not trust them with anything important that needs to be shipped. read more

So I went in here a few weeks back to mail out something I had sold on ebay...I was in a hurry on my way home from work and saw the sign on Scottsdale road and thought what the heck, I don't live in the area, and I have no clue where a Post office is around here, and I needed to ship it that day. I walked in and there was a few customers in front of me, but being helped in different areas of the counter. So I walked up to an open area, and stood there for a few minutes with my package not even being acknowledged...finally when I did get helped, The kid who helped me wasn't very polite. I guess my biggest complaint was the fact that the shipping was about $20 for my package...wouldn't normally complain but I want to say that something fishy was going on with there pricing I think they over charged me, when I got home to add the tracking # eBay said it should of only cost about $14 to ship the item via UPS based of the dimensions and the weight. I did say something about it in the store and the kid just kind of snickered looked at the other gentleman and said Ebay...like there was some joke about it. So I think this place has some shady business practices but I can't be certain...in any event it was a one time stop I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone based on that alone. read more

Air Park Pak-n-Ship is an excellent place to obtain shipping containers of any size or configuration. If they don't have the container that is the best way to ship your object, they will custom make one. They are also an authorized shipping center for Federal Express. PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING -Please know if you have them ship your package you are no longer the shipper, they are. What that means is you no longer have any control over the shipment other than the ability to track it. If you take out insurance, the insurance is not with Federal Express, it is with Air Park Pak-n-Ship. Finally, the amount they charge to ship your package is exorbitantly high. The package they shipped for me was 79% higher than it would have been if the package had been taken to a shipping facility operated by Federal Express based upon the same weight and package dimensions Air Park Pak-n-Ship used. read more

They tell you the prices for all the carriers and the dates it will arrive, which is nice since you don't have to have to go to a few different stores to get the best price, you can just come here. I had to pack a painting for an airplane ride and they offered everything that would make it secure to reduce any potential damage in transit (we know packages can get mistreated and thrown around by the delivery companies...) ... So let's see how it goes... But after everything was said and done, I feel confident that it was packaged the best way it could be... The guys who work here know what they are doing and truly instill trust that the package is secure... And I have to say, great group of people working here - good personalities and great work environment (they help each other out!!) anyhow, everyone should come here... I would not recommend this business to anyone. I went in with a box of memorial items for my father who recently passed away, a flag from his service, and a sword from his time in the Navy. We requested that the flag be handled with care and placed in a plastic bag for the shipping. He put the box with our personal items in one spot and the flag was tossed with disregard and not bagged on a table behind him. He didn't have me verify my address. He charged us approximately $77 to pack and ship these items. We went out to the car and then decided that we really weren't comfortable leaving our father's items with him and that we wanted to watch them be packed. We walked back in the store. Another customer went to the area where our flag and sword were placed. She had an armful of items that she placed on the table where our father's items were. The box of our other item's was in a completely different place. Austin inquired why we came back. We told him that we wanted to watch our father's items be packed and to verify that he had the correct shipping address and to get tracking numbers. He responded "Good luck with that, I have these people to take care of and then I'm going to lunch." He refunded our money, and told him we were going to go to Fedex. He said, "I don't care what you do. I hope that they can do it and don't just send you back here. They send everybody to us because we know how to pack everything." We took our items to Fedex. The woman there packed all of our items individually and with care in front of us. We had to initial that the address was correct and received a receipt with tracking numbers and she offered us insurance on our packages. She had to package the sword separately. Not only did she do a far superior job both with the actual packaging and customer service, but it cost me $15 less and included insurance. One of the rudest encounters I've ever had. They misspelled the address (typing is very hard) and my package was sent back to sender. I asked if they would resend it with the correct spelling and they did. Only to receive a call saying they refused to send it and I must come pick up my package. As I went to fetch my package I asked for a refund since the service was not completed. They refused so I acknowledged that I would have to dispute the charge and that is when the crazy lady behind the counter lost it. And said she would send her lawyers after me. As I asked for a receipt for proof she declined and then I decided to leave. As I did her husband came out to the front screaming at me and forcing the receipt I was previously declined upon me. After my spouse called to inquire about the incident they completely changed the story and started to yell at him and hung up on him 4 times in a row. Very professional. I have been coming here for 5 years and will never come back. I will go the the UPS store a stones throw away and I encourage you to do the same. This business is pathetic. Poor Customer service. I had a package shipped from them in AZ to my work in NJ. When the package showed up in NJ it was the wrong thing. Then for about 2-4 hours they couldnt locate my package. Then once they located my package they said it wasnt a big deal what happened and that I was only getting my package 1 business day later so it wasnt a big deal. They were confused as to why I was so upset with receiving the wrong package. Maybe because the whole point of shipping is to send the correct package to the correct place in the correct amount of time the customer pays for. So basically they got the second part right and not really because they estimated 3-5 days of shipping but since I didnt get guaranteed specific delivery date that there was nothing they could do. Im a little confused by that I thought if you said it was 3-5 days shipping that means it should come in 3-5 days guaranteed not 6. Then when I called and was frustrated about the package mix up they acted like it wasnt a big deal and were mean to me on the phone and would not provide me any compensation for the mix up. If you want to use a shipping company that only does half of their job and wants a pat on the back for it then use Airpark pak n Ship, if not go elsewhere. read more
