This is a family owned business that really cares about their customers. I called them when our A/C stopped working and the tech came out within 2 hours. Our unit was 20+ years old and could not be repaired due to its outdated refrigerant requirements which are now banned. The tech was clean, knowledgeable and helpful, giving us a temporary fix in meantime. We decided to get a quote to replace the unit and worked with Robert. He was very polite and showed us different options without pressuring us. We know other people who recently had an A/C replacement with other companies and the price Robert gave us was less. The installation went very smoothly and the installers arrived on time and finished the job earlier than expected. I didn't care for the new thermostat style and the installer cheerfully changed it to another style that I liked. Since my unit is over 18 years old, I was expecting to be told that I need to replace it with a new unit. Ivan came out the next day. He was very friendly and professional. He explained everything that he was going to do before he did it. He found the problem immediately and replaced the part that was the problem, then checked for any other problems. He told me that my unit was in good shape and should last a few more years. He did the maintenance on it, which I had neglected to do for several years, and cleaned it up and made it look like new. We had a major home project that started with needing new attic insulation and evolved into replacing our heating system and adding a brand-new air conditioning unit. We also wanted everything relocated to the attic. This meant creating access, moving equipment, adding electrical, insulating, pulling permits -- the whole nine yards. Late Review. I appreciate their whole team, explained everything clearly. Been really enjoying easy one time setup HVAC system; we are always at right temp and amount of electricity used compared to before is reflected on the bills. Passed permit inspection with flying colors and they setup everything very efficiently and quick and now we are sleeping warm in winter and cool in summer :) Robert was very knowledgeable and pleasant to work with, all the workers wore shoe covers and respected our home during the 2 day process. They were very fast and got everything setup including vents and equipment and pressure test was setup the same week with city inspection passing right away the week after. After 12 years, my heater stopped working. We tried replacing few parts but eventually came to conclusion that we needed to get some pros to come out. When I called on a Friday morning, I was very happy to hear they could come out same day to do diagnostic exam. Then shortly after the call, the owner Robert called me back saying they could actually come sooner. I received confirmation texts about the appointment. Then another text letting me know Ivan was on the way. Ivan did a fantastic job checking everything out. He would explain as he went along showing me what he found. Took pictures of the furnace that I couldn't see. It was really eye opening. Found out our whole system was 27 years old. So it had a good run. At no point did I feel pressured to do a replacement. Ivan found the reason why heater wasn't starting. And broke it down on what parts were probably next. After the exam, I was given a detailed report showing everything with all photos. Even found that duct work in attic had been damaged and I had asbestos that had been disturbed. In the end, for my family's health, we decided to have the asbestos removed properly and full HVAC system replaced. The owner, Robert, was able to come by to give multiple options with multiple financing options since of course we hadn't save up for this. We were happy to hear the asbestos could get removed the following day and the new system installed Monday. This is all over President's holiday weekend. Monday morning came along and again received text with notification the technician was on the way. Luis and Ivan (and forget the 3rd technician's name) were very professional and kept the working area clean. They completed the removal and installation in the time frame as promised. The price was what given on estimate. No pressure to upgrade or surprise add ons. Spoke with Robert afterwards who gave a breakdown of what to expect to get the final check for permits. Just moved into Valley View Park Townhomes, built in 1978. After having a newborn, decided to call AirPoint to check on our furnace to see if it was safe to use. The unit was completely shot. Unfortunately, this meant the AC Unit had to be replaced simultaneously as well to get up to code, thanks California. With that said, we also didn't have to replace anything as the AC unit was working fine (albeit annoying loud) and we were braving through the winter just fine anyway. Knowing this could possibly be our "forever" home, we still listened to their options and decided to get both replaced. If we decide to wait until the next cold season, costs will only go up. Highly recommend working with Airpoint! We just bought a house that had asbestos ducting with central heat only. Robert came over and gave us an estimate for a whole new system with heating and cooling. He had many insights into what we might want because he was so familiar with this specific floor plan in Garden Grove. No high pressure sales. I expressed my priorities, one being clean air, and was happy to hear they offer an "air scrubber." They also delivered and exceeded my expectations on my second priority being a speedy turnaround time. They even coordinated the asbestos removal for us and saved me some money by showing the abatement team where to make drywall cuts - so I didn't have to also hire a handyman for this. Ivan was the head technician and provided exceptional customer service that truly amazed me. He even found antimicrobial ducting for us. He was a great communicator with text and in-person updates. I had scheduled a tuneup and system check on my air conditioning unit; it had had a few strange things occur. I wanted to know more specifics on the HVAC system as this property had been a rental for a few years, shortly after I had purchased it a few years ago. I had Airpoints HVAC send out a service technician. He scheduled on Friday the Service Tech was friendly. He explained to me the as well as provided images of the troubled areas of my unit as well as making sure it was currently functioning at its optimal performance level. He replaced the capacitor as my previous one of not regulating at its best. Creating random shutoff or not starting troubles. He checked my furnace unit and identified the age and concern, which was over 20 years old. He also placed the condenser outside was only ten years old. The vents in the attic were original to the home in 1974, and they were losing their seal, not allowing the house to cool quickly and wasting energy. Ivan was very cleaned, laid a drop cloth, and left no trace of his presence. Besides a great experience. I signed up for the membership it seems to be a great deal.
