Second time using Trifecta and while I was very happy before, the service today was even better. Mauro, our service technician was on time, took his time and did a very thorough job of servicing both our heater and AC unit. He even took the time to write down the full model number and year of each unit, which I had no idea of since they were installed by our home's prior owner. Let me start off by saying that the two gentleman that came were very efficient, professional, and friendly enough. This review isn't an issue with the technicians' work (there was two of them). My issue is the practice of business. I was expecting them to take a look, diagnose and explain to me what the issue was, then talk about price. Instead, they investigated the issue and proceeded to work on it without consulting me on price. I'm not oblivious to the fact that what you're paying for is the result and the expertise of the service provided. I didn't want to be one of those customers that wouldn't pay for services rendered, so I coughed up the money but did so with a really sour taste in my mouth knowing this shouldn't cost this much. I wasn't provided the opportunity to say "hey, thanks for coming out, I'll pay your diagnostic fee but the cost of repair is too much". Great work, and friendly enough interaction with the tech's but very bad business practice. ***EDIT**** The Office Manager from Trifecta quickly reached out to me and reassured me that the events that took place is not their normal operating procedures. With that assurance and an explanation on how they typically conduct their business, I'm overall satisfied with our conversation. I'm changing my review from 1 star to 5 stars. Mistakes happen and sometimes issues arise, but the mark of a great company is truly on how they conduct themselves when these things take place. I'm satisfied with how my issue was addressed and completely satisfied with the work that was done. If there's anything to truly take out of this review, is that the technicians at Trifecta did great work and management will take care of you if you happen to have an issue. Trifecta was one of three companies that I had come in and look at the replacement of my heater and ducts. The first company gave me a basic bid which was higher than Trifecta, the second company had a great bid but were significantly higher than both of the others. Trifecta had done a lot of business in my community, so they already had a bit of an advantage. My representative came in, checked out everything and gave me a bid. There was no serious sales pitch, how they were better than all the other companies, or upsales. I liked the honesty and clear communication from this company, it's truly refreshing! They followed through on everything they said they would do. From the initial call to the company, the bid and work were done very quickly. Three words: professional, efficient, fantastic. Sean and John came by our home to inspect a very old unit (we're renting) because of an issue with the exterior fan not operating. Other repairmen from other companies said the issue was an old capacitor or just an old unit overall. The reality? A whole new system was needed. 2 men came over to check on my heater and later told me that the ceramic surface heater igniter was broken and needed to be replaced,but the don't carry it an it's better to call a handyman otherwise they charge 495 dollars for it, but still charged me 79 dollars just for coming over,and when I ask for a handyman reference they declined and left without even giving me a receipt. why come over if you can't do the job?? read more

There's no way these reviews can be real. This company straight out did the worst work you could possibly imagine. Install ducting incorrectly and then the repair guy came out a year later didn't know if they did the ducting and said whoever did this did a horrible job. When he found out his own company that he wanted to crawl in a hole. Also when I remodeled and replace the air conditioner if they said it was within days or weeks of falling through the ceiling because of lack of support. Stay away from this company. read more

Trifecta Heating and A/C has always been so nice and helpful. Last year my mom who's, 82 had some issues with her A/C, they came out the following day and were able to fix the issue and get it working again. Yesterday my mom's heater was stuck on, on this crazy January day were it's 87 degrees, it was miserable upstairs. Super nice guy showed up with a mask on and booties over his shoes, it took him 5 minutes to fix it. I felt bad because it seemed like a waste of his time, but he was so nice about it. I've also used them for my A/C and heating at my house. I wouldn't use anyone else. read more

They earn better marks for the quality of their work but fail when it comes to timeliness, communicating their intended schedule, and working anything close to a full day (for a multi day project). I understand part of their day probably requires loading/unloading the truck at the shop and the need to leave occasionally to pick up additional supplies. But consistently being on the job site for less than 4 hrs/day is frustrating. When you're taking time off from work to be home while they work on your project, it's very aggravating that they always arrived late and worked only half the day or less. Each day they arrived much later than they said they would, worked 1-2 hrs, then left for about 2 hrs for lunch, and then came back and worked about 2 hrs more before leaving for the day. They were on site an average of about 3 1/2 hrs/day. Time management and communication are definitely not their strong suit. Again, I'll state that the quality of their work earns higher marks. The other factors mentioned above are the reason for downgrading the overall rating to 2 stars. Trifecta - it's not that difficult. Plan the work and then work the plan. read more

We've used Trifecta over the years for heating and air conditioning repairs and I cannot say enough good things about them! I called yesterday after I'd noticed that the fan on our a/c unit wasn't rotating and there was some condensation leaking as well. They were able to send two of their repair technicians out the next day who assessed the issues (it was my fault due to not changing out the filter which created a back up in the system). They fixed the problem in about 30 mins and the price was fair. I find this company to be trustworthy, priced competitively and customer focused. He did a great job identifying the issue and was able to send out Devin and Anthony the next morning to do the repairs. They were quick, thorough and even helped with some of the electrical wiring.
