By a great stroke of luck, I called Alexander Limousine. They came through for us beautifully. They quickly made arrangements to provide the exact size van we needed and at a comparable price. They got us to Boston in time and were right there to pick us up at the designated time. The price included gratuity and even though we tried to give Eric and extra tip, he would not allow us to pay more. This is a company with a conscience. They will be my go-to transportation company for school or personal use in the future.

We emailed Matt all the info for our return flight. We asked him to contact us if he had any questions. We never heard back with any questions. They never showed up. We were left stranded at the airport at midnight. Both myself and my husband called him and he said he had no return flight info. I emailed him the whole email chain that gave our return flight info that asked him to contact us if he had any questions. He emailed me several times. This was at midnight. I'm trying to figure out how we were going to get home and he is going back and forth emailing me. At one point he said I don't know what to say. What he should have said is I'm sorry there must have been a misunderstanding and I will refund you the cost of your trip to the airport. Instead he decided to email me telling me I didn't send him the itinerary for the return trip. My last email to Matt was this back and forth was ridiculous and unprofessional. We ended up taking an Uber home and the cost was half of what MRC was going to charge. I have never dealt with a company as unprofessional as MRC. Take an Uber our driver was great 5 star service. They got waved through all the road barricades and never hit any traffic coming or going. I have used FWL several times in the past without problems, but this time, it was kind of a mess. I…read morebrought my concerns to the owner and was met with an excuse for each item. 1. In the past, the driver arrives a few minutes early to show you around the limo and map out the evening. This time, they arrived late, which set us back by the time we all got on-board....Excuse was it was only a few minutes late because he had to get gas and swap vehicles. 2. The stereo was pushed into the frame, no bezel and not working. It was my daughter's birthday dinner night out so music was important for her and her guests. For the first 15 minutes, no power at all. It was turning on and off intermittently after that. Excuse was some kids used it for a prom and they may have screwed it up. 3. AC needs to be charged. Main unit was blowing warm to slightly cool and the back of the limo (which appears to be a different zone) was actually blowing hot air though we had the knob on blue/cold (it was about 80 degrees out as it was). We ended up shutting that unit off. Driver tried to reset it for the drive home, but after a few minutes, we noticed it was blowing hot so it was shut off for the remainder of the drive and I opened the windows. Excuse was it just needed a reset, but again, he tried that but it didn't work. It's expensive, I know, but that limo needs the AC to be charged. 4. The roof on the black limo had very unsightly and very low-budget looking black duct tape along the length of both sides of the limo's roof outside. Front-to-back. It was a bit embarrassing to be honest. I want to feel good and pampered and this limo didn't fit the bill. Excuse was the limos are kept outdoors and the heat has taken its toll...They should not be running this vehicle looking like that...period. If it was a $40/hr. limo to a Patriots game, maybe, but anything charging premium rates, I expect a premium vehicle. Period. This was simply embarrassing! 5. In an effort to make up for showing up late, the driver was speeding up RT24. I opened my Waze app and at that point, it was showing 79 MPH. I had to raise my voice from the back of the limo to please slow down. I also spoke with him when we arrived and he said he was trying to get us there in-time for the dinner reservations. My preference is to arrive safe and alive and not spend my drive worrying about an bad accident. Excuse was that the limos all have a governor on the accelerator not allowing the vehicle to travel over 65MPH. This is simply false, or the unit does not work. No grey area on this one. The drive home was at reasonable speeds. 6. Because we were late for our reservation, our table was given to someone else, so we had to wait for another table to become available. It was only 10-15 minutes or so, but should not have happened...Excuse was it was only a few minutes late and the restaurant should have waited... I spent time mapping out the night to be sure something like this doesn't happen. If it was me who screwed something up, I'll own it, but the limo company screwing up my schedule for the evening was irritating. I wish there was room for flexibility on this but when you are paying for service, with a NON-negotiable 20% gratuity built it, this is unacceptable. We arrived back at my house 20 minutes beyond the stop time and the fee was waived "as a courtesy". I appreciate that, but we were behind for the evening because they were late and our table was given away... Finally, that limo should be decommissioned, or only used for kids looking for a night out on a budget, a bachelor party or something. It should not be used for a special family night out/dinner in Boston. No effort was made to make things right. I was only met with a list of excuses at each concern I raised and they took no ownership of the problems. Sadly, I think I will use another company for my needs moving forward. If I am paying $200/hr. all-in, I expect much better. I expect a worry-free and fabulous evening.
